Here’s a fun fact, they’re hoping that by the time the new Character Swap, Ignis DLC or the new Comrades DLC comes out they’re going to fix long loading times to a 30 sec wait, or a 10 sec wait with the PS Pro, Xbox Scorpio and PC version
I imagine they're testing the PC version, cause there's no bloody way the loading screen goes so fast on console

After playing the ignis dlc. I love him even more now. What a badass.
It sucks but I feel so much more emotionally tethered to Ignis and what happened with his eyesight than Luna’s death. I wept like a baby during the main game when it was revealed that he’d been hurt in such a life changing way....and barely shed a tear when Luna died.
I did cry because of Noctis’ grief, but didn’t mourn HER, you know? The weakness of the writing for Luna’s character and the fact she was never with the main group (and barely KNEW Noctis at all beyond their fate and duties, 12 years of seemingly sentimental stickers and one-liners somehow fitting in a single book sent by dog mail, and their ONE childhood meeting told to us through flashbacks) made the boys’ relationship seem so much more authentic and vital.
When Ignis lost his sight, it was devastating because we’d been on a roadtrip with this man who had been poised and proper and dutiful the entire time, catering to everyone’s need as both chamberlain and loyal friend. And now, his entire life as he knows it gets yanked from beneath him.
That’s a tremendous sacrifice for someone who was raised to perform a set of very specific jobs (with his vision being integral to all of them) and although I do realize and appreciate all Luna gave up, it’s hard to feel completely sympathetic to someone who knew about Noctis’ inevitable demise, who was so dedicated to her own cosmic duty that she knowingly guided him forward toward death as she did herself. Ignis and the rest of the boys knew nothing. They were the ones who suffered the true tragedy.

Brandon Garzon Ignis willingly puts on the ring of lucis, knowing full well the consequences. He was willing to give his life to protect Noctis. All Gladio does half of the game is bitch at noct for not being "kingly" enough when he doesn't know the first fucking thing about being king. They all went into this knowing Noct would have to sacrifice himself for Lucis but Gladio still thinks he should just "man up" like how about YOU go on a huge journey in which you know for a fact you're gonna die at the end. See how happy YOU are with your life.
Every word out of gladio after the Altissia incident is "grow up" and "this is your fault". The guy just lost the love of his life. He feels guilty as fuck because one of his best friends almost died for him. Not to mention he FOUGHT FUCKING LEVIATHAN! Even ignis keeps telling gladio at this point to lay off.
Being a badass isn't all about how physically strong you are. It's about doing what needs to be done. Gladio complains every step of the way, while ignis literally gives up his eyesight without a second thought for Noctis. So yes. Ignis is the ultimate badass of the group. And Gladio can go fuck himself. ^.^
As I Gladio lover, I agree with you. Ignis has done way more than Gladio.
Justin SNAP gladio is the second strongest member of the group thats not arguable and of it wasn't for noctis power he would be the strongest the dude beat cor right after fighting Gilgamesh who is started to be stronger I'm not nocking ignis I like all of the group but if where talking about who who did the coolest things I think taking down a classic final fantasy boss and a cor is waaay more impressive maby this DLC will prove me wrong but i dought it coul top gladio beating FUCKING GILGAMESH

I still haven't had the time to play Final Fantasy XV, but I think I'm glad that I waited since now I can experience the game much better than when it was originally released.
I'm glad that Square-Enix has plans to continue to support the game with further software patches and DLC.
It seriously isn't any better. Don't let dlc trailers get you hyped for the game as a whole, they haven't actually fixed the problems because the problems are too big to just patch in. The things they've said they fixed aren't any better, and the dlc episodes so far haven't added to the story (and don't even pretend to add to the gameplay at all), they've just been one meaningless side quest for gladio (with the *worst* version of a very hype song that's a staple of the series I've ever heard) and a big information dump of stupid things we already knew for prompto... well, *you* don't know it cuz you haven't played the game, but it's like an hour mission pretending to drop a lot of "shocking" information that literally 2 or 3 lines of dialogue in the original game summed up and glossed over. From what I've seen on this specific dlc, it looks like they're adding a load of bs that completely contradicts the entire rest of the game (from this place chronologically forward), so please, do yourself a favor and don't buy this game. It's easily the worst final fantasy game.
Just to give you an idea of how commercialized and unnecessary this game is as a whole, they *de*made the game into a mobile port. It's the exact same game, with close to the same mechanics, just with crappy (yet admittedly cute) graphics. This game wasn't made with love, it was made for a paycheck (yeah, I get it, the gaming industry is a business, if that's your view and you don't care about whether devs actually care about the thing they're making, go for it) Tabata didn't even know what a moogle was and literally read from his phone about them when he was talking about including the moogle doll. He said he wouldn't do another numbered FF if he had the opportunity (thankfully). Please don't buy this game. I want people that care working on my final fantasy's.
xxnike629xx - better wait for the PC version and hoping they 'inject' all the DLCs into the main game. That's the only way to make the story of the game makes sense.
Manin Black Ahah, man you can't say "don't buy this game" let the people judge on their own, you can't have the power to say what to do to others. As much this story had a rough time, with dlc and patches made the game a lot better and it's actually a very fun experience, well for mr atleast. You never know what others could think of the game.
Personally, I was literally suicidal when I bought this game, and it was one of the only things I could enjoy at that time (so I'm a little bit biased lol); it's a fucking fantastic and addictive game imo and I loved it!
The combat is fantastic (though also horrifically easy, tbh I'm waiting for a hard mode to be release some day) however the story does a bit of a nose dive roughly half way through! Dx The combat was so good that I didn't really care about how bad the story was!
TLDR; I bought it second hand for £20, and I was not disappointed! :D
This looks amazing! I can't wait to play it! I really hope you guys eventually decided to do a second season pass... I would love one about Luna. It would be really cool to see some flashbacks from kingsslave and the fight with Leviathan from her point of view!

Ignis is 22 during the main game. Noctis is 20. Prompto is the same age as Noctis. Gladiolus is 26.

It's just that Iggy and Gladio are naturally taller than Noct and Prompto. And way more muscular, in Gladio's case. It's just genetics.

Imho, Gladio’s episode isn’t really all that worth it. It’s fun, but there’s not much of a story.

REALLY wish the game had more quality cutscenes like this... And not just in payed DLC, hope more nice cutscenes will be added for free by PC release. The game and Fans deserve it.

It doesn't though... none of them actually add to the story, they're just excuses to get you to pay more money for a game they rushed and didn't care enough about to keep the lead developer on.
Manin Black see that's were the differences are for one who hates xv and one who loves it. I see the dlcs as adding to the story. I don't see them as separate entitys just one seamless story. Sure you have to exit to the main menu to access them but that doesn't bug me. Immersion is the last thing on my list for any game
