I lost my dad 25 years ago, but his influence on me lives on to this day, as I have 3 kids myself.

My dad needed and got a liver transplant over 5 years ago now so I understand the craziness of the day of the call and even the false calls that you think could be the one, very scary to go through. Cheers to you and your dad, I hope he continues to do better and better!

Go lungs! Feels like I was listening to myself speak about my dad. Exact same thing happen to us starting in January my dad got PF. Only thing he was turn down to put on the lung transplant list becuz they found compilation with his heart as well.Glad your dad was able to get a new lung, cherish every moment with him.

I lost my father to Mesothelioma a lung cancer and my grandfather to a similar disease, both were in their early 50s and 60s, cherish every moment you have, you never know when you'll see them again. So great to hear your Dad is doing better. GO LUNGS! Congratulations on >2,500 subscribers. Cracked open my Four Roses 135th Anniversary 2023 LE and it did not disappoint. I have the MM Cellar Aged, but have not cracked it open yet. My Dad is 95 and going strong. Still sharp and drives. 🥃
Go lungs! The beginning sounded like you were going to talk about how you lost your father and the importance of father's day, so it was heartwarming to hear the opposite. The most valuable asset we have is time, and I'm so glad you get to spend more of it with your father.

My favorite episode might be this one because you reminded me to not take my 82 year old Dad for granted and give him a call. At Christmas I cracked a hard-to-find Widow Jane Decadence with him because there was nobody else I wanted to share my prize with more.
