I dont know if anyone noticed, but Akechi's dance seems to mimic that of a puppet. Initially, from 0:07-0:17 he's a lonely child with no direction (as seen with his listless expression). Then, he puts on a playful confident mask at 0:18 as the famous ace detective. At the beginning, Akechi's moves were free and playful (probably his true self if he was surrounded by good people), but then at 0:59 and 1:10 his psychotic side starts to slip out (as he goes down the path of madness). Then at 1:19, he breaks down and then is pulled back up as if he's a puppet on strings (Shido's puppet). As a puppet, you can see as if the puppeteer adjusts his head at 1:28. From 2:16-2:17, it reminds me of Akechi telling Ren not to save him and Ren's expression looks disappointed and frustrated. Then from 2:18-2:46 it seems like Akechi is trying so hard to break free from the puppet strings. But, he is only able to break free at death at 2:45 as a lifeless puppet.

I hate how you can see Joker was trying to reach out but Akechi pushed him away. This whole dance is a portrayal of Akechi going down in a pit with how progressively chaotic his dance moves got :")
The expression plays really well in this dance. It starts with him being positive, and later on it keeps switching back and forth between his negative and positive side, and it ends with him being uncertain.
I'm pretty sure like Yu and Adachi, and Shinjiro and Ken, Akechi and Ren's fever dance represents their relationship. Also I love how Makoto kept trying to attack Akechi and he just dodges like "haha fuck you, i'm best girl now"
Liam Evans True, something interesting about Shido's palace (I don't know if this is a bug or if it was intentional, if it was...then hoo boy) is that after you beat akechi, he dies. But if you fail to change shido's heart because of the deadline, the cops will show up in Lablanc along with Akechi, even after he "died".
SuperIceCreamMan GamingChannel nah he deserves to die for everything hes done, we already got a past villain come back in persona 4 and the things hes done is not even close to akechi and yet a better villain, he didnt die but he came back. The devs probably didnt think about you actually failing after that boss fight

This is the most heartbreaking dance ever. Like seriously Atlus, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU??? MY HEART IS IN PIECES. The fact that Akechi only dances as his true self with Ren shows that he was only comfortable with him. He only showed his true self with Ren and it's canon that Akechi only cares about Ren as shown in the 3rd semester of P5Royal. He literally doesn't care about anyone else other than Ren. He even admitted that he wished they had met sooner.
He also tries rlly hard when dancing with ren he even messes up and throws a tantrum when rens back is turned basically referencing when he said "your just trash living in an attic, what do u have that i don't" or something like that
