I remember that in school, my classmates were making a musical. I was the one who hated all of the decisions they made (like casting bad singers as the main characters because they didn’t put up auditions), but never spoke up because I wasn’t the one in charge.
I’m no theater kid but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this hilarious video. Keep it up!

I can confirm this is how we act. I just started Aladdin. I am also gonna see wicked soon. One tip you missed the fact that we quote lines of music or dialog from musicals even if we are having a perfectly normal conversation with someone who doesn't know musicals all that well. I also did 4 other shows before Aladdin

As someone who does theatre but not musical theatre I can confirm this is why I don’t do musical theatre.
While it’s mainly because I can’t sing. But also this.
I’ve never been in theater before, but I SWEAR that is basically a more unhinged version of me 😂
as a theater kid, i can confirm that going to ihop (or a similar diner) is a tradition. however i found it very unrealistic how a theater kid was invited to a big party as i have never been to one. except for last weekend when we were having a cast party and the cops got called on us and all we were doing was playing just dance and wii sports and drinking lemonade

This was literally me last week. I auditioned for my brother school's Chicago (teen edition of course) and my friend and I were literally texting each other being all like, we both know it's mostly by seniority and expierience there and we'll totally get big roles next year as upperclassmen, especially since there arent going to be any girls who are seniors next year if the cast stays the same as past productions
