I used to see these beautiful birds everywhere when I was child and then young man but I dont see any of them anymore. I even dont remember when I saw them last time. True we have cemented everything now. I also heard the extreme noise pollution is also cause of decreasing these and some other birds.

بچپن میں ہم نانی اماں کے گائوں جاتے تھے تو ہر طرف کچے مکان تھے ہر طرف ہرے بھرے کھیت اور ٹیوبول میں نہاتے بچے خواتین کا گھروں کے باہر تندور میں روٹیاں لگانا ایک دوسرے کے گھر میں بے تکلف آنا جانا گائوں میں بغیر دیواروں کی چھتیں ایک دوسرے سے جڑی ہوئی ہوتیں تھی ہم کھیلتے ہوئے کئی چھتیں پار کرجاتے تھے لیکن کبھی کسی نے زیادہ ناراضگی کا اظہار نہیں کیا یہ نظارا بہت بھلا لگتا تھا اب کافی عرصے بعد میرا پاکستان جانا ہوا تو دیکھا وہ جہاں مٹی کی دیواریں تھی ان کی جگہ کنکریٹ اور ٹائیلز نے لے لی اب نہ تو وہاں وہ بارش کے بعد کی خوشبو تھی نا ہی پرندوں کا چہچہانا اب لوگ بھی بہت مصروف ہوگئے تھے میری عمر کے نوجوانوں نے شہروں کا رخ کرلیا تھا پختہ دیوارں کی طرح دلوں کی سختی بھی محسوس کی جاسکتی تھی کچھ پل کے لیے گماں ہوا جیسے وہ سب ہجرت کرگئے اب یہاں کسی اور قوم کا بسیرا ہے میں سوچ میں پڑ گیا کہ اس سب کی وجہ کیا ہے کیا ہماری قوت خرید میں اضافہ ہوگیا ؟ یا ہم باشعور ہوگئے ؟ اگر شعور اور اور خوشہالی اس کا نام ہے تو وہ بے شعوری اور تنگدستی اس سے بہت بہتر تھی 😢
