    If I could only eat 10 things for WEIGHT LOSS, I’d choose these…
    Today I’m sharing 10 foods that I prioritize as fantastic weight loss tools. I wanted to create a list of ingredients that are great for weight loss, can be used (easily) in a variety of recipes and is accessible in most places, regardless of your location. Obviously, this was a hard one to simplify down to just 10! But these are great to begin your journey with if you’re looking to simplify your weekly grocery haul.

    When I got out of a very abusive marriage, and I just couldn’t function and think clearly I have a few other issues still from what happened but one of the tests that came back when they had to actually do a real real test was I had no salt in my system and in America that’s just really unusual. Once I added salt, I was able to function better and my PTSD and anxiety weren’t as bad just because that was taking out one thing that was causing me so much problems and thinking.

    Cute little chicks! 🐥🐤 Last year we bought fertilized eggs from a farmer because one of our hens reaaalllly wanted to become a mother. Unfortunately, more than half of them became roosters 😅 But still, we kept two of them, and they get along pretty well once they've established which one is the "boss" 😉 They offer protection for the ladies against the predators and have a beautiful voice, haha!

    Hi Autumn
    Thank you for the great videos.
    I am confused about some of the weight loss food you mentioned in your video after visiting this week a family medicine and a and Hepatology specialist.
    They suggested avoiding cabbage, cruciferous vegetables, onion and garlic to reduce my bloating after I complained about my abs since I workout very hard.
    They also suggested focusing on low fodmap diet.
    I appreciate your feedback on the above.
    PS: I don't have SIBO.

    • @stevefrank5524
      @stevefrank5524 2 роки тому

      Being that you DO NOT have SIBO, what is the purpose of a FODMAP diet? Cruciferous veggies for example is a great weight loss food but can be hard on digestion for some people (especially raw) which is why they would be a no-no vi fodmap.

      What actually causes water retention is high amounts of sodium, which is present not only in salt but in lots of processed foods, soy sauce, stock cubes, seasonings, etc. In moderation, you should be consuming iodized salt because iodine is essential for normal thyroid and cell functioning.

    Interesting that quite a few of these foods can be found in what is often called "Peel a Pound" soup, A.K.A. the cabbage soup of the infamous cabbage soup diet, which they say can make you lose 15 pounds in a week. Yeah, well, let's put that totally true claim (🙄) aside for a moment and acknowledge that it's actually a really delicious soup. You can find a lot of recipes for it on UA-cam, which are all basically the same. But you can also modify to add or subtract things that you like. Then add eggs that have been whisked with some sea salt and a little cream. And then add in whatever cheese you want. And kind of flatten it to make a pie. Vanilla or unflavored are both great options (as long as it's unsweetened or uses a zero sugar sweetener such as monk fruit or stevia).

    I buy meat from Butcher Box as well, but I don’t care for the grass-fed ground beef. The texture is just horrible in a hamburger. The only way I can eat it is by using it in chili or something like that. I wish I liked it more, though.

      I got the ground beef for life deal with Butcher Box, but I hated the ground beef so much I switched to another company for my meat. To me, it has a gamey taste I could never enjoy.

    Cut down on salt by using MSG, which has much less sodium.

    I thought onions, berries, tomatoes have a decent amount of carb?

    • @AutumnBates
      @AutumnBates  2 роки тому +1

      They do have carbs, although relatively low. Unless you are *very* carb sensitive and have to keep your carb content extremely low, these are great options to use in meals.

    I would encourage people to avoid oil in the weight loss stage and use water, stock, or broth instead. It'll save you a ton of calories.
