People get matured, developed and use new intellectual approaches to attain their goal. She was young, strong and raptivist. Now she is one of the best African American author in America, she almost visited most African countries, and work with most American and African leaders all in empowering the black race. I think she's doing the right thing by looking at African-Americans, pointing out what they're doing wrong, how they're hurting themselves, rather than criticizing whites like she used to do.

i wonder if she's ever going to put her new books out, I saw somewhere a while back that she was writing midnight 4 and the Ricky Santiago story. that was to long ago

You get older and circumstances change. She is a mother and a wife now so being on the front line gets shifted to the next generation. Its sad that people are afraid to pick up the torch and expect certain people to fight forever for everyone. WE ALL NEED FIRE! Peace
Yeah, seemingly! She recognizes the FRUITLESSNESS of platitudes and diatribes among the soi-disant "black" militants - especially the males. Sister Souljah is aware of the fruitless but sincere efforts of Professor Angela Davis, the incarceration of activists Rap Brown and Nelson Mandela, the assassinations of Patrice Lumumba, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X ( El Hajj Malik El Shabazz), Tupac, Biggie Small, the public OBLIVION of activists Kwame Toure (Stokley Carmichael), Marcus Garvey, Aime Caesar of Martinique, Sengor, Kwame Nkrumah, and, yes, the NONCHALANCE among the diasporic Africans to KNOW and ACCEPT their AFRICAN SELVES as well as to UNITE, adore and assist one another, for example. Then, years and experience IS the greatest teacher of reality and truth. To live or to DIE - in vain - is an existence between the DEVIL and the DEEP SEA for the diasporic Indigenous Native Africans. And, MOTHERHOOD! HER being a WIFE and, perhaps, a GRANDMOTHER... And, although the TONAL FIRE has been apparently extinguished, the Sister's wise thoughts do glow with veracity and poignancy. EDUCATION, PROPERTY WEALTH and, yes, UNITY must be the behavioral GOAL for the AFRICANOS in America and globally.

I don't see anything wrong with her hair, I love the fact that she is not flashy, and so comfortable in her skin. She always did have that confidence. I don't remember her with big junk jewelry with the noisy earnings, she has not changed, just an "ETERNAL FLAME".

She's still fire. People grow older and evolve.
As we get older the fire is still burning but, but is now a controlled flame, an eternal flame.
