1 1/2 cup cake flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter
1 cup white sugar
3 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
150ml milk

The best cupcakes I've ever made, so glad I could make this for my mum on mother's day it meant alot to me..... I used self raising flour still came nice also made snowballs. Super light and fluffy finally achieved

Thank you for this recipe. I made 3 portions of it, using part for cup cakes and the rest for whole cakes. It came out very nice. I reduced my sugar though and used regular butter in place of the stick type.

what kind of oven settings do we need?
I just made some and they only needed 12min,I left them to 15 just to be sure but then took them out.
They were a lot fluffier than in the video (which is actually good 'cause I like the big top xD )
They were also suuuuper soft and nice to eat,hyper fluffy texture on the inside too!
Idk how it is for other people but your messurements were WAY TOO MUCH.
I only wanted half ( 6 ) and even though I took half of what you suggested I still got 10 cupcakes out of the dough.

Hi may I ask the difference between the use of Oil, Melted butter and, (I'm not sure what its called, the creaming method?) the method that you used, mash the butter then add sugar. I'm really confused with these 3 and wanted to know what would be the best to do with the butter when making cupcakes
Oil adds less flavour into your cupcakes and makes it rise higher, butter adds more flavour into your cupcakes but doesn't rise as much. And the method that she used I BELIEVE it adds more flavour into the cupcakes and makes it fluffier and moist

Thankyou for sharing this recepi, can you tell me how much 1 cup in grams is for flour, sugar please? I always measure my ingredients before adding, never use cups.
I think it depends but I think it’s the same as one cup in ml which is 250ml. So maybe try 250g? I always do that but add a little flour at a time and just try, you can adjust and that’s just how I try to do it. Just give it a go and good luck!

Whole milk is common but I use almond because I’m lactose intolerant and it tastes really good :)
