Say in other words just do your planning more thoroughly. Cool your muffins first and when they are done then make the butter cream. And if you have any left over. Just seal it in an air tight container.

But I’m what option do you beat the butter with the mixer? On high or low?
Which type of butter can used??? Salted or un salted butter??? Plz reply
her: basically says 'Its impossible to use your hand' (as in 'not by hand)
Me: *'mE wIlL uSe WoOdEn SpOoN!!'*
It’s impossible because unless you’re the hulk you cannot possible whip enough air into the butter/icing to give it a good consistency
@@Xx-jh7iv but it is possible?? Maybe not a wooden spoon by u can def mix it wif a hand mixer, its not impossible - how do u think ppl in the past made it without electric machines like this
i will use whisk
I do it with spoon it took me 45 mins
Lmao imma use a fork😭🤌
I made it! First time! I need practice piping, tho. I think I will put less sugar next time, but it really works. Thank you!
Quick tip: to get out some of the butter taste without putting too much powdered sugar try adding a few tablespoons of cream cheese. It does not take over the flavor just makes it taste better 😉
Yes but it's not stable when you put cream cheese in it😑
@@missfit8121 then don't soften It too much
Salted or unsalted butter?
@@paulsgirlACAB I prefer to use unsalted butter but you can use salted just don't add salt after
TIP: don’t add so much, only a tiny bit is okay... don’t end up like me who added a bit too much and ruined it all 😢
Wow this was amazing!!!!Tomorrow is my grandpas birthday and I really felt like making a cake and this really helped me!😭😃And since I am only 10 this was so simple and fun!..Thank you sooo much!😃😭🤞🏻💕
Sherridin Hoskins congrats! I'm 11 and this helped me understand better. (this isn't my account )
Cristina Zermeno That’s awesome it helped you too!😊
You’re sweet to make your grandpa a cake :>

Where will the next party be held?
Coming over for the cupcakes 😁

I made some lemon cupcakes and used this recipe for the frosting. It’s turned out pretty good and tasted so good. My 4 year son and husband loved it. Thank you so much for sharing it 😊 One question how do you freeze the left over frosting it? In a container? Thanks
I use 10% coffeemate powder with my powdered sugar. Gives and awesome consistency and vanilla flavor.
Hi Carina. Thanks for a great tutorial. Most bakers state 1 : 2 ratio of butter to icing sugar. No idea why!! Your recipe has the perfect consistency for piping. Once again keep up the great work!!!!
**Me making 12 cupcakes and realizing I dont like cupcakes and I now have to eat 12 cupcakes** 👁👄👁
i’ll eat them for u! 🥰
Ok
Then why make 12 cupcakes lmao
Lol you PORE thing
Now give them to me😐
@@mariacandy_cosplays Lol?
i made this for xmas, and instead of milk i squeeze a few drops of lemon juice ' coz i think the texture was perfect without the milk and i dont like it too sweet , it was beautiful on my banana cake, thank you, your recipe is very easy and the outcome is perfect! love your accent by the way :)
+Wong Fu That banana cake sounds amazing! 😊
+Carina Stewart what is the quantity of butter
+Carina Stewart what kind of milk did you use? thanks :)
That's what I was thinking.
+Annerixia bruh it was normal milk
I just made this icing for the first time. I did add .5tsp of vanilla and .5tsp almond extract. Excellent
hi, did you add 3cups of icing sugar? half cup at a time?
This is just what I wanted , I mean its so accurate and perfect , honestly she deserves more subs 🍰🍰
I'm making this today to try decorating my very first layered cake. Cakes are cooling and buttercream will be started shortly. Wish me luck!
How did it turn out?
@@evelyns858 It was great! I also added almost a tablespoon of vanilla into mine. SOOOO GOOD!
@darksoulenvoy could you please tell me what speed did you make this with did you start with low to high or was it at slow speed at all time.
@@neelamk9564 I started low just to get it going but most of the time was on as high as my mixer would go. Turned out perfectly!
@@darksoulenvoy932 thank you so much for your reply. The icing sugar seems less so I guess the buttercream was not very sweet right as other recipes usually have double the icing sugar. If I was to add a colour to it at what stage would you say I should add the colour.
Who else is here because its their family members birthday in quarantine or it's your birthday in quarantine

Please what is the perfect measurement of yours?
this came out sooo good every time i’ve made buttercream i never beat the butter and it came out really dense but this was perfect. going to make this again to decorate a chocolate cake for my birthday

I made a strawberry cake for Mother's Day and this buttercream worked out perfectly! But the recipe above just barely covers a 2-tier 9 inch cake. There wasn't any leftover for rosettes or others decorations. Next time I'll double the recipe. Thank you so much Carina ^____^
You're welcome 😊 9" is quite big so definitely double the recipe next time, this would be perfect for 8"
I now know where i always went wrong when making my frosting.. i never beat the butter long enough lol like only a minute and then add everything in 😂😂 thanks very helpful!!!
Same here! 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😂😂😂
Si it’s just the butter then powder sugar and what about the milk????
"Doing this by hand isn't really an option..."
Alright fork let's do this!!!
same here lol :)
Lol are you still mixing over there?
It’s not that I don’t waNt a mixer, I can’t afford it since I still live with my parents and rely on them. And I don’t want them spending money lol
Yeah I’ve been looking into purchasing one since I’ve been baking much more during the COVID shutdown
At least a whisk 😭
Adding a pinch of salt helps & I use a tiny bit of rum extract & vanilla extract. People used to rave over my icing.😊
Simple explanation not rambling but very clear 👍🏼😄 Thank you 🙏!
I watched this today while making my first buttercream, such an easy process! Thank you
It is easy 🙂
this is the best frosting i have ever had, thank you so much for telling people about this recipe :3
FINALLY!!!! Someone has come to the rescue! I made some chocolate cupcakes and I wanted to frost them because my brothers love them frosted. So I needed a recipe on buttercream icing and I finally found one! Thank you
So satisfying watching it squeeze perfectly onto the cupcakes.
I hope you make a batch!

What a delight watching you providing step by step guide.
Can this buttercream be prepared a day in advance for piping on cakes or cupcakes the next day?
Hey, I want to remind you that God loves us. His miracles are real. Just trust Him and always pray. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, lack of finances, or anything that makes you doubt yourself, just remember that we have God and he will provide for our needs. Nothing is impossible for God; just keep your faith in Him and don't stop praying 😊

Kat Bro agreed
Kat Bro yea I know right
I do Thank You for this. I don't think I beat the butter enough.
+CAT G.Blondecat It will get quite hard if it's not beaten for long enough. When it's whipped up it has a much smoother and softer texture. I'm glad this video helped you 😊
Hi Carina! Thank you for the video! I'm having a little problem with getting the consistency right... I've been whisking the butter for over 10 mins now and it's still looks unfluffy :/ what do I do? My whisk doesn't go slower . Please help!
Whisk faster, not slower. You want to whip the butter not just mix it. It isn't the biggest deal if it's not fluffy, the frosting will be a different texture but still good.
+Katie Bang ty :) I threw away my original frosting and made new (the cake was so perfect 😍)
you may need to use an electronic mixer
Stephanie Neata I used an hand held electric whisker :0
+Selene Jones I did too and mine worked great! My butter didn't turn fluffy either until I added the other ingredients. The milk and powdered sugar will help a lot😊
i am ten years old and this buttercream worked so good for me great recipe
I made it and HOLY CRAP IT IS WAYYY TOO SWEET. My heart almost stopped guys
add some flavoring, since it's too sweet for you try adding something citrus-y like lemon or lime juice.
Greta Povilaityte add less sugar.
