    Something else: thanks for telling your recipes aloud as well as adding subtitles. This makes this video accessible both to visually disabled and hearing-impaired persons. Some cooks cook silently and just add subtitles thus leaving visually disabled users of youtube out. Maybe some people think that visually disabled persons don't cook but they do, of course, and enjoy it as much as anyone else. Let us make all information available and accessible for them too.

      Keep in mind that UA-cam is a VISUAL platform. You're not here to listen to a pod cast or to music, you're here to visually experience things. Cooking is a visual experience. And cooking is definitely possible for visually impaired/disabled people, watching a video isn't and shouldn't be required to be. It's a video. That'd be like saying "this movie I bought sucks because I can't see the action".

    Oh my, this was the absolute perfect recipe and it did indeed do 12 cupcakes! This was only the second time I've used one of those Russian piping nozzles.
    Divide the quantity into 4, few drops of colouring in each, did one with cocoa powder. Cut a large piece of clingfilm and put on the worktop, spread the 4 colours side by side length about 6", it doesn't have to be perfect, comes out better if you just drop it down roughly. Roll up like a sausage, twist one end, cut the other. Pop it into your piping bag, ready to go! Top with a chocolate to fill the little gap in the middle. I would always do this, even for one colour, super quick, no mess. I'm not a cake decorator, but this took me only 45 mins from start to finish. Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe and easy to follow tutorial😊

      Sent my husband down to get cream cheese and a box of cake mix. I do not know how to make cakes. My friend ask me if i could make one for his wife's baptism party. Why i said yes is a mystery to me 😮. I don't even own cake pans 😢. Can i use cream cheese with a butter frosting combine? If anybody can answer me. I'm sure you will be blessed by a higher power than my self. But i say Thank you. I need to make the cake 🎂 4 days before August 15th. Anybody up for a blessing ❤

    • @SuperFauxhawk
      @SuperFauxhawk 4 місяці тому

      @@pammiestewart1419Hello. I've been baking for the past 30 years of my life, but still I would not call myself a professional baker though. I've tried making both icings, independently. I reckon that you may combine cream cheese with buttercream, you may just need to make a few adjustments, i.e. the sweetness (sugar) and liquid ( milk or water) if you are adding it. I think you will encounter no problem, just follow this recipe to the t that was featured here by Ms. Carina. And before you add the cream cheese to the BC, please just make sure to take it out of the refrigerator and keep at room temperature for just a good 30 mins. to an hour, then whip it well, but not too much that it gets too airy and this may affect the overall consistency of your combined icing. Let me know how it turns out. Best wishes to you.❤😊

    Ingredients
    1 Cup | 250g Butter3 Cups | 375g Powdered Sugar1 | 5ml Teaspoon Vanilla2 | 30ml Tablespoons Milk
    Instructions
    Add the butter to a mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer and beat for 5 minutes until light, pale and doubled in volume.Gradually add the sugar ½ cup at a time beating well in between each addition.Once all of the sugar has been incorporated add the vanilla and milk (see note) and beat until combined.
    Notes
    Make sure the butter is at room temperature before making this buttercream. Remove it from the fridge 1-2 hours before.
    Only add the milk gradually if you would like to thin out the buttercream.
    Optionally add coloring and/or other flavorings at the same time as you add the vanilla and milk.

    • @johnland8372
      @johnland8372 6 років тому +3

      @@gobblegamerxxx110 it depends on how many days you put it in for. Because butter cream can go out of date like milk. And putting in the freazer would mean that if you ever wanted yo use the butter cream, you'd have to heat it back to room temperature again before spreading it. Say in other words just do your planning more thoroughly. Cool your muffins first and when they are done then make the butter cream. And if you have any left over. Just seal it in an air tight container.

    Can this buttercream be prepared a day in advance for piping on cakes or cupcakes the next day?

    Hey, I want to remind you that God loves us. His miracles are real. Just trust Him and always pray. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, lack of finances, or anything that makes you doubt yourself, just remember that we have God and he will provide for our needs. Nothing is impossible for God; just keep your faith in Him and don't stop praying 😊

    Thank you for sharing your method! This is the best and the most stable buttercream I have ever made! Almost 12hrs out in a humid environment and it didn't melt.
    And I used hand mixer 😁

    I do Thank You for this. I don't think I beat the butter enough.

    • @recipesbycarina
      @recipesbycarina  9 років тому +5

      +CAT G.Blondecat It will get quite hard if it's not beaten for long enough. When it's whipped up it has a much smoother and softer texture. I'm glad this video helped you 😊

    Hi Carina! Thank you for the video! I'm having a little problem with getting the consistency right... I've been whisking the butter for over 10 mins now and it's still looks unfluffy :/ what do I do? My whisk doesn't go slower . Please help!

    • @yunejeebang4907
      @yunejeebang4907 8 років тому +8

      Whisk faster, not slower. You want to whip the butter not just mix it. It isn't the biggest deal if it's not fluffy, the frosting will be a different texture but still good.

      add some flavoring, since it's too sweet for you try adding something citrus-y like lemon or lime juice.
