This was a great look at the Formosa boats. There should be more of these types of reviews, unlike others who simply do a skin deep look. This is light years ahead of other pressed hull boats.

1.23 min in , I just looked under one parked up. I was amazed at the distortion going on. I don't think it means much overall. But considering the show pony factor and the price, I wouldn't be happy. I can glass and sand my old signature 😁. Love the layout, not the price

That's a "big" boat, but the principles would remain the same on a smaller boat better suited to my needs. I found it a very informative video and insights that you don't see when just purchasing at the dealers end. Thank you so much for taking the time and posting 😀 Just as an aside why don't boat companies use "expandible" type foam and fill in all the voids. I have foam in my 5.2 metre of another brand and it has foam underfloor but I feel its just a disgrace as its chunks of foam and not bonded and in unison with the hull safety and particularly sound deadening. I hate tinnie slap, and it happens with all sizes of aluminium boats, even those with 5mm hull sheet.

i believe expandable foam doesnt last as long as precut foam blocks , its not as rigid , potentially can collapse under pressure quicker then closed cell foam blocks . it has to be specific type of foam block not just any foam,
other benefits you can remove blocks if need to do some repair, maintainance , also if water gets in, it will find way out to bilge eventually with blocks, with liquid foam it water might get trapped in some places.
there are lots of variables to consider here

Are the classic hulls with ply floor built the same under the ply?

Only just about finding out about this brand boat and I like it only thing I would like to know is it possible it comes with a rod locker ?
I'm looking at around a 5m boat
