    Anyone know how I will be notified if I am approved for the pay later application that I just filled out? I didn’t have to enter an amount because I filled it out after TRYING to make a purchase using pay later feature (I didn’t know there would be an application or wait time) which is interesting because after doing some research I saw that you are supposed to enter the amount you want to “borrow” somewhere in the app. Maybe I just missed it and it auto populated….

    PayPal Credit has been using this system for awhile, but in monthly installments. Glad you’re warning people about the being careful about using this service too much! The Apple Pay Later is fine if you get paid every two weeks. If you’re older, and only get paid monthly, not so much. Anyway, great introductory video!

    That is an incredible feature. I already carry a card balance month to month of a couple of hundred dollars. Funny thing is is that I have money to pay off my my balances I would just rather pay half of the balance. Then just put the rest in savings. I really don’t mind paying a couple bucks on interest. With that being said, I will for sure be using this feature going forward.

    My position on Apple Pay Later is that I, personally, wouldn’t use it. I prefer to pay for things up-front, in full.
    I do love Apple Card and Apple Pay, for the security & convenience, but I always pay off my full balance every month (or the amount required to avoid any interest fees).
    I’m fortunate enough that I can either afford to buy something (paid in full) OR I will simply avoid buying something that I cannot afford or do not need.
    Bottom line, for me, I don’t spend more than I can afford and, therefore, I don’t use a credit card as a “loan” mechanism, to buy something, but rather just as a more convenient way to pay for things. That I will then always settle up the balance when due. 😊

    I don’t plan on using it if it does come to everyone. Now that I am free from all credit card debt, I only use my Apple Card for my monthly expenses that I pay anyway so I get the Apple Cash that goes into that savings account and I pay the Apple Card once the transaction is cleared. If I don’t have the money, I don’t use credit or pay later. It would be too easy to get back into debt and I’m not doing that. PayPal Credit use to be “Bill Me Later” and it’s very similar to this. It’s too easy to get into too much debt with this. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If you don’t have the money, don’t get it.

  • @RonaldImages
    @RonaldImages Рік тому +5

    There always pros & cons when it comes to pay later. As long you managing your money then you should be set.
    I’ll probably use this since Klarna started doing interest fees when using their money. So! Apple Later it is. Probably will delete Klarna once I apply for Apple Pay later.
    Don’t get me wrong! Klarna has rewards, but they took off the one I use the most which is Amazon. That 5$ off helps, but not anymore.
