So when you goto apply, and it has you put in an amount 50-1000, is that the amount your asking for? Or is that just showing you an example or something
Appreciate the financial warnings!
How do you get the pop up?
I would just like to know when it's completely ready to use ? I heard this Fall 2023? Thank you for the review. New Sub!!
Great info…as well as education.
Awesome 🎉
How do you use it if you got it and then declined the request?
Will I got declined for that service
Do you have to reapply for a new loan after 30 days?
I dont have this feature
what if i apply for it but i dont waste any money on apple pay later?
I definitely took advantage of the savings account. I still haven’t received the invite for pay later though.
Anyone know how I will be notified if I am approved for the pay later application that I just filled out? I didn’t have to enter an amount because I filled it out after TRYING to make a purchase using pay later feature (I didn’t know there would be an application or wait time) which is interesting because after doing some research I saw that you are supposed to enter the amount you want to “borrow” somewhere in the app. Maybe I just missed it and it auto populated….
That 4.15% on Apple Savings is a damn attractive rate. You can't get that in a bank
Gettin 4 from Citi right now
My credit union APY is at 5.00% while I have Marcus which they at 4.15 APY same with apple savings. I open their saving due to the fact I use the Apple Card to pay bills.
Yea. It’s pretty good for a non credit union.
Discover has 4% rn tho and I know Citi does have some
Sofi is at 5
How can I be selected for this?
Buy now pay later is best for people with awesome credit and knows how to manage and use credit. Basically the older crowd with over 800 credit scores.
So for the First Purchase will it charge my debit card on file or take out the money from the loan I got approved for?
From card on file.
PayPal Credit has been using this system for awhile, but in monthly installments. Glad you’re warning people about the being careful about using this service too much! The Apple Pay Later is fine if you get paid every two weeks. If you’re older, and only get paid monthly, not so much. Anyway, great introductory video!
Monthly or by weekly, does it really make a difference?
@@fcbarcelona9015 It could based on an individual’s budget and their income payment times. A retired individual normally gets paid monthly. Some get paid weekly or bi-weekly.
@@fcbarcelona9015payment come in if no money no good
You’re older and get paid monthly 🤣🤣🤣 such cute minds
@@Krustyboi62 Your time will come! Then people will laugh at you! Mr. Disrespectful!
That is an incredible feature. I already carry a card balance month to month of a couple of hundred dollars. Funny thing is is that I have money to pay off my my balances I would just rather pay half of the balance. Then just put the rest in savings. I really don’t mind paying a couple bucks on interest. With that being said, I will for sure be using this feature going forward.
Thanks for the heads up and the good advice !
It seems like the Apples version of paypals pay-in-4 option
LOL. I got approved for 1K to test. I ordered a watch on Apple Store app and when checking out it said it was not available for that merchant. SMH.
$1000 doesn't buy much at Apple
Doesn’t have to be an Apple purchase
$1000 gets you a phone or watch or accessories, groceries, clothes, plus it’s in early access so in the future they may increase the limit
Anything over that tho can use your normal credit balance with interest free payments over 6months -2 years
But it buys XRP
Some AirPods and a spare charger
I want this right now
I feel special I got it on Apple and Wells Fargo
Anyone have access to this? I'm still waiting for it
I never tried that before. I guess i'm just old school
Huh? It’s new lol
I still haven't got it
You know, it would be nice if Apple actually told us how to be able to *spend* the money. It doesn’t seem to activate when I use Apple Pay at registers, and nothing I know of seems to use Apple Pay Later online so, what’s the point of getting loaned money that you can’t actually spend?
Why would people use BNPL over a credit card? I understand that it can work in countries where credit cards are not as popular as debit, but in the US?
Not everyone can get decent credit cards or want to get in trouble with cards
Probably the full amount can’t fit into their budget for the month so it’s easier if you split the payment across months. If you’re responsible and there is 0 interest on the payment this is a no brainer
Credit cards require good credit.
I’m a bit confused on one point: if you miss a payment, to you incur a penalty or does it trigger interest? Or does the autopay from your debit card go through automatically (so you want to make sure you have a bank balance sufficient to pay)?
Your credit score drops to -0
@@BThomp35 I’m hoping for a legitimate answer, not your brain dead nonsense.
it's like a credit card but smaller payments, you will get hit with a fee and have to pay interest..
❤❤❤
Bro skipped the whole how to purchase part got it.
What if you have your credit locked or frozen?
rip then 😂
I think services like this should be considered, if you can buy it in cash, do it and if you can’t, you shouldn’t be buying unless it’s a necessity
I’m trying to apply but it keeps saying that it cannot verify my identity. My information is absolutely correct.
Same!!! I'm trying to figure that out. I've already verified my identity with Apple Pay and apple Cash did you ever figure it out?
Just make your payment people and you’ll be good
Apple money bank make ?
Klarna has a much better system with much higher spending limits. I’ve been invited since I own an Apple Card, but I’m gonna pass.
He’s right, you can get in trouble using this a lot. Next thing you know, you racked up $2000 worth of purchases and making $40-$50 payments every other day 😬 don’t get too comfortable using services like these
It’s time to get the ps5..
They already got your bank information, your birthday, your Social Security number everything
He didn’t tell you about the credit score to be approved 😅
Yes he did he said you do need a soft credit check.
My position on Apple Pay Later is that I, personally, wouldn’t use it. I prefer to pay for things up-front, in full.
I do love Apple Card and Apple Pay, for the security & convenience, but I always pay off my full balance every month (or the amount required to avoid any interest fees).
I’m fortunate enough that I can either afford to buy something (paid in full) OR I will simply avoid buying something that I cannot afford or do not need.
Bottom line, for me, I don’t spend more than I can afford and, therefore, I don’t use a credit card as a “loan” mechanism, to buy something, but rather just as a more convenient way to pay for things. That I will then always settle up the balance when due. 😊
My thing is credit cards vs debit cards, your not getting any cash back or rewards if you use Apple Pay later vs just using a credit card, it’s a benefit to use a credit card cuz your better something back

@@brentlee6616Your CC also offers you better protection and faster dispute resolution.
I don’t plan on using it if it does come to everyone. Now that I am free from all credit card debt, I only use my Apple Card for my monthly expenses that I pay anyway so I get the Apple Cash that goes into that savings account and I pay the Apple Card once the transaction is cleared. If I don’t have the money, I don’t use credit or pay later. It would be too easy to get back into debt and I’m not doing that. PayPal Credit use to be “Bill Me Later” and it’s very similar to this. It’s too easy to get into too much debt with this. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If you don’t have the money, don’t get it.
There always pros & cons when it comes to pay later. As long you managing your money then you should be set.
I’ll probably use this since Klarna started doing interest fees when using their money. So! Apple Later it is. Probably will delete Klarna once I apply for Apple Pay later.
Don’t get me wrong! Klarna has rewards, but they took off the one I use the most which is Amazon. That 5$ off helps, but not anymore.
I don’t have an Apple Card, so I don’t think I would qualify for this. It does seem like something that is designed for emergency use and not abused by those who live beyond their means.
This isn't tied to Apple Card in any way. Entirely different payment feature.
I got aproved for 400 and i was never able to use it 😂😂😂😂
Apple just released their savings account with a 4.15%APY. I just moved $5k into it.
NO…..
Thousand dollar limit will not get you anywhere. If you need a loan for $1000 you’re gonna be in trouble next month anyway so it’s better not to do it at all.
well start paying and you won't face the burden of penalties ABC 123 ... I'm not gonna not use pay later because some people stop paying their debt.. I'm good
Completely irrelevant to me as I am not in the U.S.
Same
It’s going to be international I’m pretty sure.?
Apple Pay Later = Bro just call it what it is (a credit card)
Why are you slamming Apply Pay Later? Shaking my head!
This is useless for those of us that use credit cards responsibly.
First
It doesn't work anywhere where Apple Pay is available. I tried it on many food delivery apps and its greyed out.
@peteronum7581 that sounds like a job for @scammerpayback
I got approved but it doesn't work for anything
Me too
i just got the invite but i plan not to use it. but i applied for 1k and i got it approved.. so at least if i ever do need it it's there.i usually tend to pay off my balance of my apple card each month anyways.... but it's goo dto have imo
Apple Card sucks
