I’d like to see loyalty cards in the wallet. My library cards would be nicie too.
Loyalty cards already are! I have my gas chain, grocery store loyalty, Jimmy John’s loyalty, Panera bread, all here in the Wallet app! More apps need to supportnit
@@AppleInsider Apple needs to allow you to add third party cards without an app
@@aidanbazan7769 apps like Make Pass allow you to make your own custom passes. So if you have loyalty cards with barcode or QR codes, you can copy them and make cards. Not sure if it helps your case, but this helps fill the gap or allow passes without annoying apps.

Can’t add store cards so annoying! When you press the + it only allows you to add payment cards or travel cards
For the tracking features do you have use the Apple Card or any card in the wallet app with Apple Pay?
How do you add tracking to the wallet?
Is the payment based on credit does it affect your credit score?
I got my old set up in the app here in Colorado. No idea anywhere I could use it though. I hope bars start taking it that would be fun.

Ohio is listed to be on board with digital IDs along with my state. When they’ll be launched though? who knows 🤷🏾♂️.
purchasing alcohol as a delivery seems very illegal or risky in some states especially on the part of the driver who is ultimately "at fault" if a minor picks it up according to the current agreement terms on every app i drive for! i am really only excited for the split payments and the tracking the rest i'm not sure i really want LOL the key thing for some reason makes me uneasy the license thing i would enjoy if you could use like express lanes at passport or TSA but i just can't me using it for much else.
they could still require ID at delivery. This would at least give the seller some confidence they could actually deliver the product and not be wasting their time. If a state approves the wallet as actual ID for this purpose, I think the seller would be covered. It will be up to the states to regulate or allow.
A year later and package tracking still does not work in Apple wallet.
I’m so excited about Wallet and Apple Pay Updates. Mostly because we don’t have the same features in India.

I tried the ID with Maryland and it was rejected……no reason, no explanation …….. even in the virtual world the MVA sucks…….

So one of the issues with the digital ID and the digital insurance card is if you get pulled over and you show it to a police officer you do not want them to have your phone at all. You do not want any kind of exchange where they're touching your phone or can grab your phone and search anything on your phone. Always lock your phone keep it locked and do not give it to a police officer
The thing with Apple I’ve noticed for a while is that, even though Android will be ahead of the game with their phones and software, Apple will always take their time to perfect that same thing with their products.
Its the only reason people stay with apple, cause they know even though we get stuff late, its still worth it cause ittl be GOODDDD

Most of these Apple Pay features have yet to get out of the USA. We are still waiting for Apple Card.
They are taking their sweet time. I don’t even know the extent of Apple Card in UK? This is a country that is all in on wireless tap to pay stuff. It’s everywhere.

I resisted the wallet and iPay for a long time but love it now. I'd love to see my insurance company automatically download my car insurance card every six months instead of having to remember to print it and put it in my car each time. Love to see not only my DL but Passport on there as well.

Just about a minute, with the tag before/after about a minute 3. Not 2 minutes. But I do try to make it easy by adding chapter markers if you aren't interested.

I unfortunately can't control the UA-cam Premium stuff but I try to make it as seamless as possible. Ads that are relevant to my audience and they are somewhat necessary to make this channel possible. I do try to limit ads to longer videos and this one was borderline. Still, always appreciate hearing everyone's thoughts. Have a great weekend my friend!

It would be great if apple would allow us to add loyalty cards and ID cards to wallet. Way overdue
They already do!! Both have been long existing features! It’s up to brands to support them. Jimmy John’s and Panera for example do. Others, like my local grocery store, doesn’t so I add it manually using the third-party app Pass2U. IDs are also a thing and so far a couple states have supported them like Maryland.
Digital IDs would be so nice, imagine getting robbed or losing your ID, now someone had access to all your information on your ID. With wallet it will be protected behind your password and your phone has cellular tracking

Mr Apple Insider, are you going to continue carrying a physical wallet? I will until I feel it’s safe enough to do without. I was just thinking what problems I could encounter though such as, phone dying and I can’t access my ID, Credit Card.
I mean how often do you let your phone die
Get a apple wallet a physical one for back of phone. 3 cards. Magnetic. It’s the best.
@@alex21390 Sorry for the late reply but yeah it happens sometimes when I am on the go on a super busy day. So thats why i am a bit apprehensive about cutting the cord on my physical wallet.
@@iamtomfrommyspace5931 I thought about it but i think my phone is already thick enough to hold with a case on it so i do indeed have a physical wallet. I keep it in my backpack, and i also do use my Apple wallet.

How come ahkl77? I heard the same stuff about Apple Pay and yet it is miles more secure than physical cards. With your house, it is so much easier for someone to steal your key, clone your key, or bump your lock than breaking in via NFC. It would be much easier just to ram the door open.

We've got some really progressive areas like Columbus, but some stuff like digital IDs arent even on the radar. And something like that is going to take years to roll out and it pays to get started sooner rather than later.
