Beautiful doll but I don’t think she’s worth $75
Thank you for doing this review! I still plan to buy her because Cleo is my bias, but I understand the disappointment with the price not matching the product. It’s really a shame. This will be my first time getting a HC doll, and I only plan to collect Cleo. (Side note) I do wish I had her first wave too.
Yeah thats my biggest thing - shes a BEAUTIFUL doll but the price just doesnt line up with the product for me. Im glad to have her, and i will probably get spectra too bc yah lol i just probably will but i wish we got more with the doll

Very disappointing about the stand. You may want to get an Integrity Toys doll stand. They are adjustable. I skipped this doll myself.
I envy all you veteran MH collectors. I only started in 2022, so $70-some for a new in box doll sounds like an absolute steal from where I stand. 😂
Cleo always serves but I agree, she could be like, maybe 40-50 for the lack of detail. If I collect more MH dolls, I think I’d get her since an original and complete wave 1 G1 Cleo is honestly in the same price range or more (like I’ve seen wave 1 dolls for like 80-100). So I would say she might be worth it for someone who doesn’t own a Cleo doll. But for other people who own Cleo, I wonder how does she compare to other G1 Cleo dolls?
Yes for someone who doesnt own a g1 cleo this doll is perfect! She is a gorgeous doll but i agree 50 max on price.

Love how Mattel is trying to pass off budget doll we used to get slap some lashes on them give the worst stand possible no brush reuse the HC boxes not even make them as nice though I have Frankie and I kinda love her box no brush so even in box there just this empty space with a plain background give them great faces but cover them with mask my Frankie holds her mask I got her cause of the face. Though I like her jacket I wouldn’t dare take her out cause that body suit is not exactly sturdy one snag it’s over, no dairy which I mean come on you did that with HC it’s one of those things G1 was just great getting back stories, no purse and then charge $75 for them. The ONLY saving Grace these dolls have is they seem you can buy them well after drop. Cause if I had to do that stressful drop for these it’s an easy pass. However that they are available and I can just get her when I want I may get her later. I just spent too much on G3 and little mermaid so they can least do that so can buy their other products and recover then add her. Cause I’m burnt out from last year and I didn’t even get all the collectors though I got most. This year I can’t afford it so it’s my favorites only or if I find I have some $ and I’m jonesing for a MH doll then I’ll buy it. If they take them down oh well I can live without them
i don’t think this line should’ve been priced like this but it’s so upsetting to see people hate on the artists work, it’s okay to have opinions and people don’t have to like or buy every product but there’s just no need to be nasty and bash the poor team who have worked hard to create this

As an artist & designer, I love constructive criticism such as the things said in this video. No matter how good a work/artist is, there is always room for learning & improvement. If someone says something you don't agree with or that you don't think is relevant to your target audience, you can ignore it. If someone can't handle criticism, they have no business being a professional artist/designer, they should only do it as a hobby for free. What is ignorant is when someone is rude or insults a work & isn't thoughtful explaining why, that's not the case here.
She’s definitely worth it for me personally. The screening, the egyptian aesthetic, the gold metallic detailing, the sparkling gold cape and the long ankle length air was worth every single penny i spent. And I’ll buy again just to have a in box one
I gotta say... she is absolutely not worth it ! I don't know how pricing works but I do know that Rainbow High produces dolls at such a lower cost and higher quality. I've been a fan of Monster High for many years but even I can acknowledge that is not a $75 doll. Her design is gorgeous but the materials they chose to execute it are terrible. This is of course my opinion but it is for these reasons I've been strictly collecting Rainbow High dolls, along with a few of those Barbie movie dolls.
3:13 My doll fits perfectly on the stand. You didn’t even try to pose her on it. You just have the legs hanging 😂
What you dont see is off camera i did try - as have many other collectors who share the same frustration. Dont assume something based off of a 6 minute video, there are many takes between each portion that i do not include - half way through it and she falls forward or backwards - have to start all over.
The stand is complete crap and i dont like how she looked with her knees all bent so that the shoes were on the base of the stand. A waist clip stand is best for these dolls. Saddle stands are the absolute pits.
@@Dolldad_83 Well I only assumed because i have the same exact doll with the same stand and she sat on it with both her feet touching the bottom of the stand when i first put her on it so idk 🤷♀️
