I get the feeling that Johnny has a deeply compassionate nature which leads him to want to help others and share his good fortune. He overlooks their faults as he believes that love and acceptance is an important component for healing. He found out the hard way that love cannot always find a way. It is sometimes just like pearls before swine.

The one thing that stood out to me when Amber was saying how hard she worked to get Johnny to marry her. That was premeditated thinking 🤔, to me.

If you read the released notes taken by Dr. Hughes during her sessions with Amber leading up to the trial, you can blatantly see that Amber basically saw Johnny as a "wild horse who needed to be broken" like she did with her dad when she was younger, which she testified about in VA (a bizarre detail to have added to her own testimony, I think, but it absolutely speaks to how she saw her role in that relationship!) Amber also all but *admits* in those notes, over and over and over again that she stayed with him for as long as she did because she was *convinced* that she could "fix him" (which we ALL know that you can't "fix" another person, especially if they don't want to be "fixed"! Literally ALL of her psychologists even TOLD her that! But her stupid ass kept at it, because she had a "mission" to accomplish!) It was COMPLETELY clear that she wanted to change his fundamental self into something that he just wasn't! And he fought against that, which is what caused SO many problems in that entire relationship! She had some ridiculous fairy tale image of how she wanted that relationship to've gone and that just wasn't realistic! Johnny even said flat out in one of their recordings that he wasn't gonna be some "perched g-damn parrot or a frenzied dog on a leash" and that he "wasn't going to give up himself!" He has ALWAYS fought to stay true to his true self since Day-freaking-ONE back in the "21 Jump Street" days, and that has NEVER changed (nor *should* it!) And he bloody-well KNEW that's what she was trying to do!

Amber is a vile person that exploited Johnny’s vulnerabilities. I think that some of the claims that have been made of Depp are true. Excessive drinking, drug use, spending. They both likely experienced a great deal of hardship growing up. Hopefully Johnny’s putting things together on a much better path absent her in his life.
He seems genuinely kind and generous despite his flaws.

These things happen in threes. He lost his money, his mother, and then his wife. Then his wife turned out to be an imposter who stole more of his money then his reputation and finally his career. He couldn’t call her anything but something because she was never who he thought she was. He has to hear I told you so from his inner circle he has had to divulge the most intimate moments of his private life to the world and listen to the worst actress on the planet continue to drag him thru the mud. 3x3 for Johnny Depp. He’s met his quota of happens in threes for the rest of his life. After this he should be good. He’s a sweet man and love will find him again. I won’t call him poor Johnny Depp. No, he’s the man.

I get the impression that the journo only planned on spending a couple of hours on the interview & did not appreciate nor was prepared for the generous time JD gave to him. The fact that Waldman was there for all those hours, there was a dinner prepared by a chef, signalled that JD was invested in this interview & ready to pour his heart out. All the weed and wine could have been to help Johnny's anxiety about giving such an in depth interview. Sadly the writer didn't get it & even wasted an opportunity of a lifetime.

@Mandy Cole your comment is so anoying that im 90% convinced that you're trolling but I shall take you serious anyway. 1. The value of an argument is inherent. Should you value someone's argument based on their authority that would be a widely recognized flawed way of thinking. 2. Rape was never on the table. Nobody made that accusation so it's very odd of you to bring it up. 3. You may want to look into what that court-case was actually about, it was about a libel case. 4. The evidence of heard's behaviour is overwhelming and speaks for itself. 5. The all caps seems unnecesary

An interesting production for you is this: For the duration of the rltnship, JD and AH were constantly making premiere and red carpet appearances worldwide. The public appearances are sandwiched btwn the incidents. Hire a lip reader to read their lips on the red carpets bc, just based on body language, you can see the tension btwn them.

Out of all his relationships, Amber Heard was the only physically abusive woman. I don't think he was looking for his mom in AH but maybe he thought he could fix her because of his experience with his mom. All his women have been quite different so I don't think he fits the Freudian diagnosis. I think he just fell hard for a stunning younger ambitious actress who took advantage of an ageing intellectual alcoholic who can afford a lifestyle of weed & late nights playing really loud music.

    • @BeeJae78
      @BeeJae78 3 роки тому +9

Yeah I think he wasn’t necessarily looking for a woman like his mum but because of how she treated him and how much he still loved her he put up with so much more. Also I think someone without that background would have pulled away from her but he still had deep feelings for her. Most of us know if someone treats you like that they don’t love you. He didn’t realise that.

I personally disagree, I think Johnny fell HARD for Amber quite fast because of a number of things but the big one was the fact that she was similar to his mum.
One - She literally researched him and sculpted herself to what would resonate with him which really helps attraction.
Two - I hate to say it but she is very pretty and has a physically very attractive appearance.
Three - As Johnny got to know her more, he seen similarities in ambers personality to that of his mothers, which over time subconsciously intensified even more attraction he had for her as explained by Colonel. Which is why this entire situation so difficult for him, and why he could not let her go. He gave himself to her as he was so attracted to her, emotions are a powerful thing. She really hit the jackpot in terms of the perfect victim. She is a disgusting individual.

Leering is more menacing or sleazy. It’s has extremely negative connotations. The language of this article was so inflammatory and negative. Also it’s easy to overspend when you have an army of freeloaders living off your dime. For those wanting to understand the Dorian Gray reference look up the movie synopsis. It’s more in depth than saying he is old. It implies that his beauty is rotting due to his misdeeds or ‘sins’. It’s so much more than that though and it’s so insulting because Dorian Gray so valued his looks that he sold his soul. It’s just disgustingly biased and spiteful. The venom drips from every description this writer makes and smacks of contempt.

I believe JD thought he was in fair hands with Rolling Stone magazine as he had been friends, or friendly, with it's owner Jann Wenner. I don't know if J D knew the magazine had been sold t in 2017 o a large, corporation that was tied into the Hollywood scene, but it seemed like he was shocked and surprised at the fact it was such a hit piece.
I know it's a strange thought but I have wondered if Elon Musk ever had anything to do with some of JD's financial problems. I got such a strong sense of hatred towards JD from Musk that I could see him causing trouble for JD. Musk going to JD's home multiple nights every week is just such a show of utter contempt, he could have easily had Amber go to his place.
I love your show tonight - you have real feelings for JD and his loved ones and it shines through. I look forward to your future videos regarding JD AND MM. I think MM is probably the really good person JD thinks he is and I look forward to following you on the journey to prove/disprove his innocence.

I believe Johnny Depp. Never paid much attention to who he was. I saw him in movies, but it didn't register. I only saw AH in one. She can't act. She's never been a victim. Johnny shows all the markers of having experienced abuse.

It’s funny that you mention the Dark Knight line. That was the first thing that came to my mind when the Manson allegations started. The most propped up celebrity “heroes” all went through this. They either died young or became vilified. Kurt Cobain is a classic example, he was on his way to descending into embarrassment like Elvis or Brando, but he preferred to “burn out” than to fade away as he wrote.

I can relate to the kinship he felt with the nervous Mandel brother. He’s an empath, sensitive…which is not only why so many of us love him and feel a connection to him, but also why it seems so much more likely that Amber Heard was the perpetrator in their relationship. For those of us who are sensitive souls, too, it’s a position we are often familiar with.

I had a very similar experience to JD's with my own mom and with a partner as well-and I had much better partners before that last one too. I should have known better and yet.... From my experience, I can say this: (1) is that having a volatile parent is extremely hard. Instead of focusing on your life, your feelings (which would be the normal thing to do), you are constantly watching out for the other person. Is today a good day or a bad one? Will they hug you or yell at you? And yet, this is your mom, you want to please her, make her happy. It is an impossible task yet you keep trying and trying because you think it is in your power to do so (and this is perhaps where the "I worshiped her" comes from). (2) This makes picking partners tricky. You may have good ones, but somehow there's a sense that life is too predictable with them, so when someone that resembles your parents crosses your path, you are drawn to them like a magnet. It is not conscious at all but there is something in them that feels challenging, exciting, but familiar. Like somehow this person was the one meant for you all along. Until, of course, in the end you are in so much pain, you just have to walk away.... It is messed up but your childhood stays with you forever.
