Its the easiest station to cook in but it's the hardest overall station due to you needing to remember and coordinating all the orders with all the other stations. Garnish always has to be 1 step ahead of the other stations
Earlier in the season, Lacey did work the garnish station (on her first dinner service with the blue team) and succeeded. It was her only good moment on HK, but as mentioned already, it involved the least amount of actual cooking.
Garnish it's not the easiest station, Garde Manger, garnish in his case it's the saucier and make sure all sauce are perfectly balanced so you dont have Gio's experience with the salty sauce

Why do they keep bringing back people who are eliminated and don't want to be there?
Drama
They always try to bring the top 4-10 chefs eliminated before the finals back for the last dinner service (in this case, 6). Most happily agree, but some are either not available or don't feel like coming. Then you have the peeps who just reluctantly agree... like Giovanni and Lacey.
Fun fact: Lacey normally wouldn't have come back, as she finished in 9th place which is just 1 placement behind the 3rd to 8th place finishers that would've been invitee back, however one of them, Robert, was unable to come as he was diagnosed with pericarditis during the black jackets phase, so Lacey was invited as a backup instead, being the last to be eliminated before 8th place.
I think Ramsey brings back the weakest, one female and one male, to really test the final 2 chefs. See what they'll do with a chef that's lagging or being mouthy. Lacey had both qualities in over abundance. 😉

Apparently all the chefs, the men and the women, all hated her. I believe in giving chances to people like Lacey. But then again, the last time I met someone like Lacey in real life, I learned that you should listen to the people who tell you she's crazy.

Lacey D'Angelo was a Corporate Buffet Cook from Charlotte, North Carolina. She was eliminated in show 8 as an automatic elimination after she was unable to cook meat.
After leaving the show she became a cake baker and more recently she became a Jamberry nails representative.

Just want to say real quick: I LOVE Andrea praising Paula at the end there. Warmed my heart hearing her say she was proud. I don't always like seeing the contestants hate and backstab and badmouth each other; I like seeing genuine sportsmanship and support of each other for a change. I get it's a competition, but that doesn't mean you can't be supportive of others as well.
I remember Andrea was the one saying Ji was worth more at 50% capacity than the two up for elimination combined, in the second or third ep when Ji volunteered to go home after her injury. Andrea can be abrasive, but she seems like that friend who will be loyal to you like a bulldog if she respects you.
As much as annoying Andrea is even she's on chopping block many times in Black Jacket round, I prefer her over Lacey. Lacey is just straight up annoying, a crybaby and just being lazy.
Danny deserved to win this. He was all work no drama, had very few problems with other contestants, always made sure his station was well-maintained and managed the pass like a true leader in the end. You can tell how much of a calming presence he had for his team, and in the end that was the difference. Very, very well-deserved, and I hope his career is succeeding.
How are they spoilt rotten? They’re regular people going on a show to achieve their dreams getting screamed at constantly with no guarantee of getting anywhere and taking it lol

It really made me happy how excited Gordon got when Paula "found her voice"; he's genuinely glad that she's gotten more confident.

Paula was such a great competitor throughout all of season 5. It's a shame her brigade let her down in the finale, she's one of my all time favourite contestants.

About a third of the way in, Ramsay doesn’t even seem mad. He sounds a little encouraging and very surprised. Seems he had a lot of hope for her.
