@@allenderobles8539 And *some how* I missed what Robles did against the Yankees. I HATE the Yankees - always have. And seeing Robles actually *nuke* that pitch like an in-his-youth Tiger Woods drive at Pebble Beach in 2000 into the frigging *upper deck* at Nationals Park. I've been to National Park - the top deck is NOT a short porch - and Robles makes it look like a yawner. Then I remembered where I've seen that stroke before - the infamous Soto "caught his train" shot in Game 1 of the World Series. S-i-q-u-e! One's a righty - and one's a lefty - which makes the similarity of that stroke even scarier.
Great video and chemistry all around guys! Carlos you did an incredible job and I hope these keep coming with Spanish players. Juan and Victor have some sweet swings ❤I love the wider stances and how hard they torque on that front leg when it lands, reminds me of Slammin' Sammy Sosa.

Hahaha, I love Dominican players. They bring so much life to the sport, whether it’s pure playing ability, or their spirit. Whether it’s former players like Bautista, or Ortiz, or players like Soto and Robles, they’re here to save baseball.
I'm a mets fan, but I gamble, so I'm actually rooting for nats after taking series for +180, and winning gm 1 and 2 for +170 and +160. I really like Soto, he's such a goofball.

The Juan Soto wide stance of course helps with balance. Even if he starts early on a breaking ball, he ends up balanced as the bat goes through the zone. And like all great ones, he makes it look super 'easy'.
i feel like a lot of people don't understand you are either really good at telling whether a pitch is a strike or not. You know it probably right after little league is over. You've played enough baseball and whatnot to know the usual strike zone and if you don't have it by then it will be really hard for you to get it down, although I might add, it's even easier for players who've always been very disciplined when you get to pro ball because the zone shrinks even more from high school to college to the pros.
@@allenderobles8539 Estoy de acuerdo en que deberían estar orgullosos de hablarlo, pero creo que no se sienten así porque no fue su elección necesariamente aprenderlo, you know?
Juan Soto is literally a generational hitter lmao when your explanation to how you control the strike zone is simply just what you do then your obviously built different Carlos said it best he learned his technique at 30 Juan Soto came in as a teenager as a complete hitter 😂
I just feel like mlb doesn’t prepare these guys for the media that’s why we’ve stayed behind on everything they just send the guys up and the superstars barely have any experience when talking and interacting with the media. All these superstars form other countries and there’s not a preparation to make them marketable is sad that we are watching the game we love die but it’s that old school mentality that’s ruining us as well as the commissioner cause everything starts at the top.
Carlos Peña does a great job as a host. He translates and runs a show while making both Juan and Victor feel comfortable
