You talk about wipers on the headlight, I remember my dad's car had that. But back then the headlight glass was glass. but now it's plastic, acrylic or something. Easily to make scratches, so I understand why they are gone.

That's fine. As I mentioned in the video, there's hardly any point in disabling the headlamp washer as it automatically sprays on the 3rd wash cycle anyway. By that time, the car is already dirty enough to require windshield cleaning, and the overspray is usually on the roof and running down the sides of the car, so the cleanliness of the hood is somewhat irrelevant.
