Yeah I agree. His rack is perfect. Looks good and low profile. I'm not sure when he's considering starting production on them. I know he was big on getting the Stilettos and skid plates out first and seeing how that went. Hopefully sometime this coming year.
First off thanks for making these sweet videos! Highly interested in the rear transfer case skid plate. I havent looked for a after market one so not even sure if there is one. But i would definitely support yall if and or once it’s available. Also has anyone happened to see a hidden winch setup other than the rro version? Idk if they even are still making them. I cant get any information on it from them. Trailhawk for life!
Glad you like the videos! I'm actually not a part of the business I just met D at the MootsKL event. I really liked what he was working on for the KL's so he agreed to do a video with me. The only other company I know of doing the winch mount for KL's is frog fab. They are out of Canada and I've heard nothing but good things about them. They also offer rock sliders. The pricing on the their website is in Canadian dollars so it's cheaper in USD than what it's listed as.
I've really enjoyed mine. This is the first Jeep of any kind I've owned I've been impressed with the way it handles everything weather wise on road and does really good offroad. It's only real limitation offroading is you can't lift it past 3" and tire size is maxed out at 32". I've got a video of what I like and what I don't like on my channel if that interests you.
Thats the issue and why I got excited about it when I meet the owner of Gleaming Alloy. Nobody is making these types of mods. They've been badly needed for a while now.
T3 member here! Love going wheeling with D!
I met him for the first time this weekend. He seems like a great guy. Very knowledgeable and great to go wheeling with.
Nice to see another option for KL mods! I look forward to seeing what comes of them. Definitely sending an email. 👍
Yeah I agree. I hope he gets a lot of support and starts putting out more mods.
Need him to release that roof rack! More suitable and nobody wants to wait almost a year for other options!
