Great video. Thanks! Got mine in abyss black in April. Love it. Wish Hyundai would have made it available in the USA with the vision roof with the retractable sunshade. FYI, it’s a 2025 model year
I'm waiting for the roof and credit and better rate. It will come because I have purchased a dozen Kia/Hyundai vehicles and always wait until 0% or .9% with discounts. I want the N but I can wait longer. 20k miles on my EV6GT and I know what the N will do because I have a Kona N and I am more about N than GT! Congrats on the purchase! April. @@tonyn3227better performance? Lol. The only thing faster is straight line speed by 0.1 sec to 60 mph. On track, M3P is useless. It will lose 50% of power due to battery overheating and its brakes will catch fire, proven by Misha who drove it on Nurburgring. I've had this car for a few weeks and can't say enough good things. It's so fast, easy to drive around town or in a track-mode (haven't had it on track yet), and while I am still learning the menus and settings, that's nothing to be put off by. It's like any technology that's new to the user; just need some time with it and it will be second nature. I put some 15 mm spacers on it to widen out the stance and fill the wheel wells while I wait for more aftermarker wheel options to come available. I sold my 2021 RS6 and this is a worthy replacement with comparable performance and very little compromise on features but at half the cost. And for my purposes, mostly city driving, the fuel economy is a welcome improvement.
I recall that when you reviewed the VinFast in Vietnam you gave it a thumbs up but it turned out to be a dog. I hope that your assessment of the Ionic5 N is worthy as it certainly does seem to be quite a cool choice for a vehicle.
@@bobball2759 my assessment of that car was based on a 6 minute drive with the pre production car. I had a week with this one plus spent time on a race track with it as well and since I already own the regular version which bus’s been excellent, this is just that much better.

I'd hate these 21" wheels - I had 19" low-profile rubber bands on my Golf R and they were the absolute worst! Pinch flats and sidewall blisters are a regular occurrence, and they'll ruin the ride while doing nothing useful for speed and handling. These giant wheels on passenger cars is an idiotic fad that needs to stop.
You laugh but this car is no joke. I’d have a very hard time finding another vehicle with this much performance and capability for the price regardless of ICE or EV.
I’m not making an exact comparison or anything, but we paid £43k for our Volvo EX30 twin motor performance in the ultra trim, with a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. Obviously not everything when speaking of performance, but it felt like the best value high performance car out there for us.
@@Martin-dx5zs The I5N just happens to be quick but just as the other N cars, numbers really don’t mean everything, it’s the grin these cars put on your face. So fun. A basically stock other than tires and roll cage cleaned up this year at Pike Peak beating so many cars much more expensive and some even purpose built race cars. I’m hoping to drive the EX30 soon. Will be testing the EX90 next month.

I totally agree with you. They need to watch more video about 5N. Most people think that Hyundai or Kia still stay in the 1990s.
You cant even compare this to any other EV. There is so much packed into this car. Makes a Tesla look like a Prius.
The I5N is so sick

The only car suitable for the transition to electric vehicles that overwhelm cars that are three times the price.
2-stage inverter tech makes the ioniq 5n possible to drive like a regular ev in the normal mode.
Great review of a very cool car. Ya you need one!
@vancity2349 -True!.
Surprised actually the haters have not commented more the simulated engine noise, I think they have done a pretty good job with it....
And some Toyotas, and how much is a Ford GT or pricey mustang? The tech and engineering in this car would cost double with others.

sorry about the curb rash. does this mean a rear window wiper is now availble on the other Ioniq 5 trim lines, or is that only for the N?
