      It’s definitely not cheap, but it’s a V8 muscle car, so let’s put that in perspective too…

    • @RickZanardi
      @RickZanardi 7 місяців тому +107

      In Europe it's what you pay for a new hot hatch nowadays, prices were already crazy before the coronavirus, they are absurd now... just to put into perspective, I managed to put my hands on one of the last new Opel/Vauxhall Corsa GSi ever produced back in 2019, at the equivalent of just under 20k USD all included, and that was with a healthy 5k USD discount. And that was the cheapest warm hatch at the time to begin with.
      Now that title likely belongs to the Suzuki Swift Sport, at 30.000 USD. It's a car with 140 hp.
      So 45k for a V8 Mustang isn't cheap but even not too crazy with this perspective in mind, cheap fun isn't a thing anymore in the new car market 😅

    Its crazy that americans are mad about 40k $ price tag. In europe its 2 times more expensive 😂😂. Basic mustang starts with 75k $ and here in Poland our normal wages are around 1000$ to 1400$. This is crazy

    The good news is it will most assuredly break down at least once while under warranty

    The screens look different, I remember them being a single big tablet with a curve. Maybe this configuration is the cheapest of the two.

    As a ford tech that has been behind the wheel of pretty much the exact same car as the one in the video for the price it is a great car you get the feel and look of the new mustang without truly breaking the bank

    Save yourself 10k and buy an s550 gt with pretty low miles. Looks better inside and out as well.

    Find a store that has a “floor plan loan” and ask for a deal on a car that’s been sitting for a while. They lease all of the vehicles on their floor plan from a bank so they’ve got to move their inventory. That’s your ticket to a big discount like OP got, on a mustang that’s probably been sitting on the show room for months.

    These auto prices are ridiculous. I only paid $32,000 for my 2012 Mustang GT back in 2013 and it was fully loaded minus the shaker 500 stereo system. 42 grand for a Mustang GT is not cheap especially for a plain Jane base model.

    I have seen a few Mustang GT’s advertised under $40k. Pretty great value in today’s market.

    They offer big discounts because people are tired of dealer markups, and now they need to move that inventory.

    Inflation is out of control. There will be a breaking point.
