What’s amusing is that Ade’s wife, Jennifer Saunders, plays Edina in Absolutely Fabulous and her nickname is Eddie. Ade plays the character Edward in Bottom with the nickname Eddie! So husband and wife are both well known for playing characters called Eddie. I thought that was pretty cool

I was a bit before you, so it was The Young Ones we all talked about :)
@@angeloddrev It was great once you got your head around talking food and rodents. I honestly thought University Challenge was set up like that because I never watched That quiz show. Go Scumbags!
@@willhay6148 me too lol
So was I, I had a friend got me into this real early in high school now at 38 not sure but Bottom is still absolutely fantastic funny as hell but something about The Young Ones now I kind of feel like some of it isn't as funny as I remember and some parts seem really forced...? Not even sure if that makes sense but yeah being older Blackadder I actually don't like as much now either but Red Dwarf again still brilliant.
Smeg head (just joking). The Dave episodes of Dwarf shouldn't be thrown in with the BBC episodes though.
Grew up with the young ones and bottom. Rest in peace Rik, you gave us soo much
My dad first introduced me to bottom at around 11-12 and I loved it. I love it even more now I can understand more of the jokes
Best British slapstick sitcom.
Give me my rubber johnnies lmao !!
A young Mr Gibbs from Pirates of the Caribbean 03:56
Thanks for the laughs Wick an Eddie, you guys are comedy legends,, loved all these episodes, and all the live shows on DVD, still got the best of you guys in DVD, and the live shows, love you Abe, and God bless Rick.
Bloody legends- the pair of them ❤😆🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes. The pair of them.
Just so many memories of joy from this show. God I miss Rik Mayall.
When Richie falls out the window at 18:50 😂😂😂
Anybody remember Guest House Paradiso? Still kills me everytime!
I absolutely love that film, I have it on dvd still
"GO ON, DRINK IT YA BITCH!"
Bought it recently on DVD. Brilliant!
Never forget hearing all the bad reviews...One of the many times I disagreed with "critics", such a fun film.
I've still got it on hardrive
"Better drink it before it gets warm!"
Top 10 shows ever....loved this as a kids would cry laughing all night, very easy to watch over and over pity there will never be another
For my family Ade was their favourite, but for my Rik was the best, maybe because I can see some of his craziness/silliness in me. :)
I’m 15 now and I’m still so glad my dad introduced this to me
It was truly British comedy at its best , still makes me cry laughing all these years later 🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧😎
I loved/love this program!.. Rik & Ade are absolute legends ... my friend and I loved watching bottom {Lol} We used to reenact scenes in drama to the disapproval of our tutor!.. 😋👍... and the young ones was another favorite... R.I.P Rik ... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐....
Really miss Rik xx saw bottom live twice... amazing....🤣🤣to this day it’s still prob my favourite comedy... they were both absolutely ace...😁😁😁
He was amazing. Thank the lord he lives in vhs, dvd, Blu ray and on UA-cam and streaming services.
Rik is up there laughing at us all love rik xx
I've seen every episode several times and I still cry laughing every time..absolute genius show
He’s the best to ever do it. Rik was a genius
Was the best of Rick and ade2gether since the young ones absolutely brilliant
I’m so grateful for all the laughs Rick left us with
What’s amusing is that Ade’s wife, Jennifer Saunders, plays Edina in Absolutely Fabulous and her nickname is Eddie. Ade plays the character Edward in Bottom with the nickname Eddie! So husband and wife are both well known for playing characters called Eddie. I thought that was pretty cool
this is my favorite show of all time. so good
Also known as Stuff The BBC Would Never Allow To Be Made Today
This was proved when they refused season 4
@@muttonvindaloobeast8160 Did they? According to Rik and Ade it was because they wanted to other projects, and the Bottom Live shows?
@Jason O’Dowd no they refused it. Simple as that mate. It was in the paper. Front page of the Daily Star
@Jason O’Dowd Yeah they claimed the humour was "too straight". As in not gay enough 🙄
@Jason O’Dowd I know, and they said Bottom was cheap laughs...
"Umaguma land" 😭😭😭
Sooo funny.

I started watching this when it came out. This and Red dwarf were a big part of my weekends as a sad, lonely git.
My parents enjoyed it as much as me.
Interesting to see Gibbs running a Sex shop.
The madam swish part was really funny!
🐴❤
Best British TV show EVER
R.I.P. Rik Mayall
Recorded _Gasman_ on VHS and watched it 100x so now I know every line haha
YOU DON'T GET CONDUCTERS ON THE ROOF!!!
Thats why we put them in the bus
I saw them live and about had to be stretchered out, I laughed so hard
I think it's about time I look for my bottom dvd's and watch all three seasons 3 or 4 times again. Its been years.
