That is what I was thinking. By the time 90 seconds go by, your arms must be so full of blood and lactic acid, you can hardily feel them, let alone move them.

@@rasalghul9331 all technique and the winner didn’t do it properly as you are supposed too slowly drop, not hold the same position half way through. Still impressive and I doubt I could do it even with improper form

@@userunknown1578 perfect form for a 3 minute push up. Perfect form for one rep? No. You would be correct. But unless someone does this exercise routinely till it’s not a problem. You’ll never see a “perfect” form like you want too.

I started working out again a few months ago after having a miscarriage and then being blessed with another baby boy. I used to run track & cross country and although I miss running so much I recently developed a love for strength training. Every day the discouragement creeps in but every time I watch your videos I get sooo pumped up to get it done 🙌🏻 love the way you encourage people to KNOW their body’s potential! Sometimes you can overachieve, sometimes you can’t but every day you can move and take care of your body ❤

In boxing we had to do push-ups for three minutes straight. Took me about eight months before I could actually really do it that was hard enough and you couldn't take a break in between the push-ups either I could only imagine how hard this would be

I think some of these challenges are more about.. how strong & in tune is your endoskeleton? Muscle offers explosiveness, yet also carries more total weight and burns more lactic acids.. and pumps more blood. I really appreciate calisthenics.
Awesome video and huge respect to Truman, after I watched this the impossible push-up is my new fitness goal. I think anyone who has confidence in their push-ups and has a strong core can definitely do it. I think a good way to go at it and the way I’m going to do it is by building up to 1:30 by first doing a 1 minute lowering and raising and then increase by 5 seconds each time I succeed until I reach 1:30.

I do 200 push-ups a day so I had to try this. Being slow and controlled going down in 1:30 was only a little challenging but going up in 1:30 was very challenging. I sweat through my shirt and my arms were dead after 3 minutes. Great challenge!
similar here . nowadays I only do morning workout of 2 sets of situps 25 reps, 60 sec planks and 50 push-ups. that's just cause I'm not going 2 the gym rn.
before that I used to do upwards of 240 push-ups a day and once or twice I did 350

This is the only push up I do every day. Same thing for squat pull up. For several months now I only do a single rep every day and just doing this one rep each has made me able to pistol squat, do one arm pull ups, and one arm push ups; I have become incredibly strong. It's not necessarily three minutes but it's as long as I can go where I go as slow on the up as possible and then even slower on the down part. I haven't been timing myself except once I timed my squat at 6 minutes 40 seconds. Pretty sure I can do this three minute push up easy. Only like a minute though for the pull up.

It’s so hard. Even for 1 minute total, or 2 minutes, if you have the muscle to do it, it’s all in the mind. The mental strength required for this is What makes this a real challenge.

For anyone struggling, try reversing the process, meaning start low and push all the way up then all the way down until you build that physique 😊

Just did it. Considering at 1:20 left I started shaking.. but I did it. Might have an unfair advantage though cuz we had to hold the front lean and rest in the military quite frequently. Also I’m a bodybuilder so there’s that.

I can plank comfortably for 10 minutes, high and low. I tried this, going down was reasonable, once I pushed up, it was a game-changer. Made it 2 minutes, more difficult that I thought to lock out. Solid challenge

I believe the impossible pullup is harder, but the advantage with the pull-up is at least you are goin up in the first half when you are stronger and then you just have to hang on on the way down. With this pushup the way down is super easy, but then everyone gets stuck because it takes more strength to go up and you are already spent....
A bit tough challenge for a 100 bucks.
id do it for the hat though.

If it was minus 10 weather, I would have still taken my jumper off - how can these guys think they wouldn't generate insane body heat with this form of exercise. I love this. I'll have to give it a go. Did a 7 minute push up challenge rotating between one partner - one start, then stop, the other resume, and so on. Great challenges. Man deserves a medal.
I definitely cheated but I did it. I did the 1:30 down, but then locked out at like 55sec left, felt like I cheated so dropped down to half height but had to lock out again at like 30sec, so I just held a straight arm plank for the remaining 30sec. Aka I probably cheated multiple times but I did a lot better than I thought. I doubted myself high key
Even keeping a plank that long would be tough. I've heard of 60 sec down and 60 sec up but this is insane.

I just turned 15 years old 5’11 and about 130 , Even though I did hold the down position for a bit longer than what maybe is allowed I’m really proud that I did it 😂 I was aggressively shaking the last minute and the last 15 felt like my arms were on fire!

damn, the way down was easy, paced myself perfectly to get my chest 2mm from the ground at 90s, then i was able to get back up to 90 degree arm bend at 2:00 but then no matter how hard I pushed there was no more upward movement.... so I gave up. Next time I'll keep holding it as long as I can even if I slowly collapse back down

light work, I attempted this after watching casue I didnt believe it was hard I used to do insane extraordinary feats of strength for fun so watching this I couldnt accept this challeneg was hard, so I attempted it and smashed it. You just got weak peopel I guess idk. But this had me jumping out of my chair rooting for them. Awesome video.

atleast for the start do ascended push ups, aka your hands being at heights of counter tops or bed frames for example
All the way down really gets ur arm shaky but slowly locking out is easy if you got abs
