Thank you so much Tanya! I enjoyed the visit. Not sure why I was so much in my head preparing for this video. I really do love doing Mill Hill Kits. They turn out so cute. I went to the Silver Needle in Tulsa last year. They have a wall of Mill Kits but done on fabric and made into pillows. They were so beautiful. I can’t wait to make one like that.
Amazing job on the finishes!! I love all of your projects...so many pretty things! I have to get the board that holds the Mill Hills.. I love your sign! Thanks for saying hi and for the shoutout! You are the best!!
Hey there! Thank you so much for giving my channel a try. I’m so glad you enjoyed what I had to share. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well and hope to see you again in my next video. Happy stitching!!
You are hard on yourself, don’t be! From what we are viewing, we never know that it was a hot mess. Whatever the distractions, you took them out. Looks very good to me. Have a Merry Christmas!
Thank you Lisa. I do need to stop commenting like that. I need to keep it positive. Hope you have a very wonderful Christmas. Thank you for watching.!! Love the feedback.
I enjoyed seeing your finishes. My daughter that I live with has a cricket I love the idea of the boards.....big thank you! The Christmas lights are amazing....wow!
Oh yeah! Put her to work for you cutting out some backing for finishing projects. My DIL said the chip board we had was kind of hard for the cricut to cut through so she told me to be sure to get the cricut brand. Hopefully that does help her cut easier.
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you as well. I’ve been enjoying the Holiday and stitching away. Looking forward to seeing everyone on a new flosstube video soon!!
Congrats 🎊 on all your beautiful 🤩 ffo’s they look amazing 😻 love Matilda she is so adorable and Santa coming to town looks amazing 🤩 have a wonderful holiday 😊🪡🧵🤗🤩❄️⛄️🎄
Great idea on the Santa. I hope I inspired you to not stress about finishing. It very fun and it will be beautiful. Thank you for watching. Look forward to visiting again soon.
Congrats on Jane Fiddes. I have everything to start my Indian Maiden but I am distracted right now with Echoes of a Garden Past. Once I get the girl stitcher, I might be able to put her aside. I may start Maiden in Jan. I’m so glad you started your flosstube.
Hi Jan - it's me again. I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you and yours. I am still really enjoying your Flosstubes and I love everything you are working on. Take care, Andrew
Another wonderful visit with you, Jan. (Thanks, Angela.) All the pieces you shared were so beautiful (Jane Fiddes!), and your finishes were inspiring. I'm not there yet, but I'm feeling more emboldened about eventually taking the plunge to do some of my own finishing. That magnetic hoop was clever! In the past, I've just stitched perforated paper in hand, but had been thinking about using those thin stretcher bars (and tacks) I use for needlepoint. The magnetic hoop would be a good alternative, tho. Finally, I really enjoyed the Christmas lights. Your town does it up right! Take care.
I will pass your Thank You on to Angela. She will be tickled. I’m so glad you are enjoying my videos. So nice to already be getting some tried and true faithful subscribers. I am truly having a wonderful time. Oh!!! I hope you tried a finish. Just pick a small that if you mess up you aren’t wrecking a ton of work. But you can do it. Just do something simple to start. I’m over here being your biggest cheerleader. 😁 I am already using the magnetic hoop for my Mill Hill. It’s working fabulously. I too usually just hold them in my hand, but when u say the Lucky Chance Stitcher show her haul I was like “that is so cool”. So what the heck…. Add to cart! Glad you enjoyed the lights. I love the small town vibe we have here at this time of year with the courthouse square being all decked out. If you follow my instagram check out the cute pic I took of my Mom (90 years old) today with Santa. He is one of many photo vignettes they have around the square. Thanks again for your continued support and participation in the conversation on my channel.
@HoopItUpWithJan0606 I love being part of your flosstube community. You've made it a very welcoming space. I also started following your IG after I saw it on your nifty new sign, but hadn't seen your mother and Santa yet. Yep, never too old! I won't have a Santa visit but am definitely looking forward to looking at neighborhood lights soon. Take care.
Boy, Jan - that was an awesome FT! No apologies needed at all! You knocked it outta ‘da park with all that finishing! Holy moly, that was enough finishes for a few FT’s! And Jane Feddes is absolutely stunning! What a blessing to have a good finisher right where you live👏🏻👏🏻. I love all your floss drops too and I would love to use them, but if you bobbinate, do you take your floss off your bobbins, put it on the floss drops and then rewind it all back on the bobbins when you’re finished with a project???? That seems like an awful lot of moving thread around! Is there an easier way for us bobbinators? Well, thanks anyway - it may have seemed like a hot mess to you, but I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed myself! All. Hristmas blessings to you and your family!✝️❤️🎁
I have gone back and forth trying to decide how I want to store and use all my floss. bobbinate or flossdrops. I like the storage of bobbinate better but I like the ease of use with floss drops better. So until I decide 100% how I want to store and use my flosses (which I am leaning towards floss drops) I won’t move the floss back and forth. I will just keep it on whatever method it’s on until I use up the skein. However since I am leaning towards going to floss drops for everything I may move some from bobbins to drops just for consistency. But they would be move back. I hope this makes sense. But the short answer is I wouldn’t move them back and forth between the 2 method. The main reason I prefer the use of flow drops is because my favorite fabric count is 40 & 46 which I use 1 strand. It’s so much easy to pull off 1 strand from drops. Thank you for the kind words on the video. I have so much fun but my brain goes so many different it’s hard to up. 🤦🏻♀️. I just have to laugh at myself 🤣
Haha. Hi Angela Sawyer. 😁. I like say hi to My friend AngelaLovesToStitch hidden within my videos to see if she seems then. But technically it can anyone names Angela. 🤣🤣🤣. Thank you for saying Hi Back. I love it. Thank you for watching. Jane was so much fun to work on. All the different kinds of stitches really made it fun.
All the gorgeous quilts behind you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ beautiful finishes, beautiful! Are u sure you’re not my sister? Cuz you look more like me than Cheryl 😂😂
Always such beautiful projects, Jan. I agree with you 100%, Stacy gave us all a wonderful gift of friendships. Love you, my friend.
Merry Christmas to you & Stan and family!
Ms Jan, no apologies needed! Love the visit... ❤❤❤ the mill hill is stunning, especially his coat.

@@HoopItUpWithJan0606 I have a few because I love all her designs.
Lovely finishes!!!
Thank you so much. I will be back soon with a new update.
I think the red sequin fabric would look good as a pillow back to your previously finished Santa. Great ffo’s, that is something I struggle with.
Great idea on the Santa. I hope I inspired you to not stress about finishing. It very fun and it will be beautiful. Thank you for watching. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Oh man. I want to start that Maiden so badly. I have all the floss for it. And pretty sure I have picked out my fabric too.
Hi Jan - it's me again. I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you and yours. I am still really enjoying your Flosstubes and I love everything you are working on. Take care, Andrew
