When you ski enough, you develop a skier's mind. It speeds up to match the speed on the slope. Hills are not steep, they are fast. At 30 I was rated expert, expert. I could ski anything, not fancy, more mountain goat but no hesitancy ski anything. Now I'm 71 and going back to the hill after 40 years off. To once again break the surly bonds of Earth and experience controlled flight. It is the closest I've come to a fountain of youth. I figure I'll ski to 80 then I'll die. However they offer one hell of a discount on season passes at 80. :-)
It doesn't seem nearly as fast as they are actually going. Amazing video. Speed makes carving a lot more obvious and it's mostly just a matter of trust.:) (especially when there are no others to worry about on the slope lol)
Outstanding free carving! Respect from Moscow skiers! Where has this session been made? Is it a Dolomiti superski region or something else? Also it seems that nodoby else rides on the the slopes with demonstrators. Have these slopes been temporary closed for this video session?
Yes, he is very good too. bolt are moving well into there turn and they have a well align stance on there ski. I just found that she had better initiation turn by having less vertical notion... I like good skiing and these person are showing high quality skiing. Well done.
Jack Ward It is mostly about the sidecut and the radius of the ski, some twins are very good for carving while twins made to ride switch as well as forwards aren't that good to carve. Also some park skiers make their edges dull so they will not catch on rails but then the ski loses some carving ability since the edge wont hold the carve as well. I'm not completely sure if all of that is right but I have had twins that are good to carve and some that aren't good for carving.
Hey, thanks man. The thing is I love to carve and freestyle on natural terrain while skiing crud and a small amount of powder and am struggling to find a pair of skis - Any recommendations? I am currently looking at the faction CT 2.0 skis.
Yep that works when you are alone in the slope and have -10c degrees. Now, add 43710453705 people and melting snow and big fat milkshake droves of heavy wet snow. I live in Zermatt. 4400m. Your clips were in April btw, In spring. Easy to see. Post someting from January ;) Not so cocky anymore? /M - from Switzerland and Sweden
Avant de donner des cours de carving, il faudrait déjà en faire correctement ...cette vidéo est inadmissible Il est facile d observer la divergence des skis sur tous les virages engagés . Franchement, il y a encore du boulot pour ces skieurs.

2:35 she is amazing!! That is a steep run to be able to carve down that linked.
Great sound track...so many memories. Matches the video perfect!
Nice lines!!!! Clean and beautiful skiing!!!!!!
I started skiing 4 years ago. The best preparation for me was the fact that I am former ice hockey player. Skating and skiing have so much in common.
Вы правы, что катание на коньках помогает понять ускоренному освоению лыж.
Oho, then at what age you started skating?
OPERATOR!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAVO!! Maestro!

Everybody else were chased away by mean Saint Bernard's
He can touch the snow by elbow. I cannot reach it even by hand!
I think the thumbnail skier didn’t recover from this angle, the clip cuts exactly when we needed it the most
Nice
we need Harald Harb to discuss
good
I like your jacket
2:35 отличная продольная работа
ARC THOSE PUPPIES!
RedHelmet at 0:40 the best, остальным надо еще потренироваться
Roman Vinogradov pink floyd
2:19 give me the contact of this cameraman
The best turn in my opinion are the lady in green at 2:51. really good!
Not by long shot........ You might want to reflect upon the man at 2:15 forward....................

The outside arm swing on the guy in the white is not good. Also, shoulders are tipping too far into the inside and are rotating with the turn.
awesome. how can I learn to ride like this?
Sembro io quando nel 2030 rinascerò in Alto Adige 😂
Fkg awesome !!!

What ski resort is it?
Pampeago -Obereggen ( Latemar) Italy
Is there a reason why no1 was using any version of the Hero skies?
Top!!!!!
Сооl !!
I find im too far forward and if I try to be more centered it feels unbalanced and maybe too much pressure on ski tail which is less predictable
Do one ski drills. When you find you can carve edge to edge on one ski, you will have learned proper fore-aft balance, control and recovery.

Are twin tip skis easy to carve with?

Jack Ward I dont have any recommendations but the factions should be good from looking at the description of them
Thanks, have a good day/ evening.

You mean Russia?
Jan atLMB yep
What is the ski radius best for this carving? Closer to 10 or 20?
Closer to 10 for pure carving.
Да по вильвету класно на резать .
14 thumbs down...really?...I see some really nice, strong turns there
The 14 or higher are @*& boarders.............................
yeah ,maybe because the camera work sucks , and the frames-per-second looks like 20 than 30 or 25.
All I see are nice turns. Certainly not a Warren Miller production, but sure.
Really? Chill!
this was to Gabriel...
Who is the woman in the green jacket at helmet? I want to marry her.
Go for it ! She is very good at repetitious movements
@@anatolyex 😂 underrated comment
На каком курорте показывают карвинг
All look to be on slalom race skis with short turn radii, which makes such turns a relative breeze.
Bet cannot perform this well is chud conditions
Easy snow....try the same on ice, bumps, slush. Most runs are not as perfectly groomed as this.
Idk where do you usually ski but here in Europe/Alps or Pyrenees most runs are groomed as shown in the video
Ok, is there anything else beyond carving? Once you get it, do you just go out drink and talk shit? I'm fine with that.
Primityv style.
Hacen mal los giros
no good
