    Actually, there are also good comments from her. Like how good the food is, how the taste balanced or things like that. But the problem is she doesn't look so genuine, it feels very scripted, her body just moves too much when she's talking, she keeps bobbing her head, she talks so fast that affects the pacing of the video. Because of her fast script the video looks fast also. And its not good if you want to showcase a beauty of a place. People just won't appreciate it. Well, this is not a hate comment, i just want to tell my observations. There is always room for improvement Alexis. Hope you do better next time :)

    • @ArunaKhudan
      @ArunaKhudan 5 років тому +1

      She needs to relax, she is trying too hard and it doesn't seem genuine. I think if she just was herself, she would be much better. The people she invites usual talk more natural and she has this nervous energy. All it would take is some practice from her, she can get better.

    Instead of just giving the feedback that it "just feels fake", I'll just say that I stopped this video at 2:20 right after the first poutine dish. From the little I watched, neither of them seemed that interested in the poutine after one or two bites even though the video is named "world-famous poutine". No background, no history, no interview of why the poutine is famous except for learning about bison. We learned that the host and her friend liked it but after dipping from one bite it didn't actually seem that interesting. That's my feedback on why the host/show feels fake from just 2 mins. I hope this show gets better because Tasty produces some good content.

    Actually it isn't respectul to slurp in japan. Its just normal to them. It isn't actually a complement to the chef.

    • @kamekomiyamora
      @kamekomiyamora 5 років тому +2

      As far as I know (ive been interested in Japanese culture for over 10 years) i think the idea is that, if youre slurping it, that means you like it. Youre showing the cook that youre enjoying it. You shouldnt forcible slurp if thats not your thing, especially since its considered rude to make noise when eating elsewhere, but like you said, its normal and accepted there. But who knows, maybe the chef does love hearing people chow down their food quickly! 😁

    • @guillaumebernard99
      @guillaumebernard99 4 роки тому

      Nothing to do with respect nor a compliment to the chef. It’s simply the easiest way to capture the noodles and the soup in the same time. People have accepted the slurping cause it’s the most practical way to eat ramen.

    Next time go to Lynn Canyon. The bridge is lower, but it's not nearly as crowded so you're not competing for space and you can enjoy the park more. And its free admission!

    I am usually disappointed when people try some fancy variation of poutine (or, much worse, poutine from McDonald's) as their first poutine, but this bison poutine actually looks really good. Cheers from Montréal.
