Dear Amanda and Felix Eats, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the amazing UA-cam video you created featuring my Mr. Shawarma food truck in Vancouver. Your video showcased my food and business in such a positive light and has generated a lot of interest and buzz among foodies in our community. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into creating such a high-quality video that highlighted the unique flavors and experience that my food truck has to offer. Your support means the world to me, and I am so grateful for your help in spreading the word about my business. Once again, thank you so much for featuring my food truck in your video. I look forward to continuing to serve up delicious Shawarma to hungry customers in the future. Mahalo, Mr. Shawarma Owner (Max)
Aloha Max! We truly enjoyed your food and had such an awesome time in Vancouver! We're happy to support small businesses on our foodie adventures and we're so grateful for our followers for supporting your food truck as well! We wish Mr. Shawarma much success and we hope to be back again soon! Much aloha from your friends in Hawaii🤙🏼 Amanda & Felix
Totally enjoyed this PNW series, great job! I'm a Hawaii transplant living in Seattle, so it was a thrill to see you guys going around Seattle, and Vancouver. Hope you get to make many more of these travel videos!
Everytime I go to Japadog I ask for the kurobuta sausage. It just elevates it into being more than just a hot dog. I tried the wagyu another time and it didn't really do much. I think wagyu beef in general is best appreciated in it's pure form, with minimal toppings. Thanks for visiting my city!
Y'all making me reminisce about living there. I remember when Japadog was a push cart that was stationed across the theatres (they spell it like this, french influence)on Burrad(?) street. My ex had an apartment off of Robson, very central. My fave was Numero Uno pizza with the ground beef and a swirl of white sauce. Yum. Their Costco has poutine on their food court menu. Reasonable, not overpriced like the street trucks charge. My fave was Stephos on Davie st and their Calamari salad. Ugh, I miss going there! Luv u guys.
1:33 Diet Pepsi? Blasphemous! I really enjoyed your Seattle (my hometown) and Vancouver BC series. The ferry from Vancouver to Victoria (Tsawwassen to Schwartz Bay) is stunning -- something for you to consider on your next trip there.
Definitely going to try Thierry during our summer vaca. My daughter and I will love this place. We are loving your travel vlogs and can't wait to see more.
I really enjoy your content. So many places for me to explore in Oahu other than the ones we already go to. If it hasn’t been mentioned already, the chocolate cake Felix got is the chocolate marquise. Thanks for visiting Vancouver and I look forward to more travel vlogs. Mahalo!!
Glad you enjoyed Vancouver Amanda and Felix! But you should have gotten the OG Pork Kurabato Japadog as that ones the best 🌭🌭 You guys would also love the Richmond Night market in the summer time. It’s pretty crazy.
I don't think Vancouver street food is particularly affordable. It's essentially the same as a sit down restaurant in many cases. However, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, Mr. Shawarma is pretty good.
So glad both of you enjoyed your stay in Vancouver. The food spots all look so ono 😊 I love a good burger 🍔 like Felix. I had never heard of Burger Crush. I live in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver. I rarely go downtown. Now, I'm really tempted because of the places you tried. I'm visiting my parents in Southern California. Trying to decide between the Habit burger or In and Out for lunch today😆🍔 Mahalo for your series Amanda and Felix. Luv the way you show your love for food and your positivity. Hope you get to travel lots more in the future.
You are on the Hawaii Stroll...why break an extra sweat? YYR is a colder climate and a real international cosmopolitan culture. It is worth an early August visit next time you go to that latitude. So much fun watching your new journey.
Best part and way to end the long week of work…Amanda and Felix, my Foodie Ohana, EATS! There is something special about street/truck food. I wish I could do a vlogumentary on the difference between restaurant and street food. You know it’s good if Felix is going to talk and describe stuff with sauce on the side of his mouth. 🧀🥩 The Japadogs looked okay. I love your honest review. I can trust your suggestions. Thanks! 🌭 Finish the night with a burger for dessert. 😝 🍔 Even the drunkards like late night burgers. 🍟 Finish strong with hot chocolate ☕️🍫 Great job Foodie Ohana! I have enjoyed your Seattle/Vancouver adventure, but I’m feeling Hawaii homesick for you guys. Love you both! ❤🤙🏽
Oh wow the street food there in Vancouver is awesome, especially the assortment of poutine you can order 😍 never heard of JAPDOG before, that’s an awesome place.
You guys should've checked out Nero's waffles!! But ya, def enjoyed your Vancouver series! Making me miss the food from there (I'm originally from there). Keep it up with the great videos!!
I love street food, and you guys found some amazing eats! OMG I was drooling. 😆 I hope you guys get to do more traveling also, because we love how you take us along with you! 🥰 (Sending virtual pats to Lucy back home. Bet she'll be happy to see you back!)
The street trucks scene of Vancouver is fantastic… but, the Burger & poutin fries touched my soul…. you guys are doing us all a favor by your selective food scene of the Northwest. .. Much Mahalo for your earnest travel vlog… Again..Aloha to you both!
Mean poutine fell off hard. When I used to go clubbing like 8 years ago it was so good and full of crispy chicken and now the service is trash and there’s half the amount of chicken and theres less sauce. I went back 2 other times too!! I thought it was just a bad cook in the back or something but they’re just skimping hard
The lights are normal, you guys ate so much you're moving slow.🐌 🤣 Next trip to Vancouver I gotta try Mr. Shawarma... I tried Japadog years ago and it didn't broke da mouth. The toppings of nori made it unique.
I hope you see this message before you fly back to Hawaii. At Vancouver International Airport there is the first native indian restaurant in vancouver called salmon and bannock. It maybe worthy of video content. I looked on line and they opened in December 2022
Enjoyed your video.. I’ll have to try the Japanese hot dog next time we go to Vancouver.. if you ever come back to Canada you should visit Quebec either Montreal or Quebec City,my hubby is from Montreal and I love it there ,it’s like walking into Europe in Canada and they make the best Poutine ( where it originated from)
@@AmandaFelixEats yes, yes, yes, as soon as I have the income and set up medical treatments, I am so there. Have you tried the pizza shops in downtown? There are so many whole in the wall places for $2.00 a slice. I remember after bar hoping at the end of the night, we go get a slice of pizza, and walk home. My hanai family lived so close to downtown. 🥳🥳🥳
@@TONI__KROOS Sorry I live in Hawaii. But have been going to BC since a little girl. I have been all over, Surrey, Cloverdale, Burneby, Richmond, Gastown, all over snow town, from Big White, Cyprus to Whistler. My last trip there was for the 2010 Winter Olympics. My next trip is to my husband's home town Brazil, maybe on our way back go to Toronto and catch the train tour definitely back to B.C.
Not your problem, but the name Japadog is offensive as f*ck. This place (and all of its locations) have been a point of contention in the JA community for years.
We passed Japadog everyday we were there. A little too exotic for me. Farther down is an excellent ramen & liege 🧇 shop. Wish you could stay a few days more. 😘

Moved to Vancouver in 1982, from California best move I ever made. Love Japadog, ate at their first food truck back in the day (2005)
Mr Shawarma is my go to lunch spot when I am in the office.
We tried Japadog because of Anthony Bourdain. Glad you tried it as well 🔥
Us too!🤤🤤🤤
Did you guys go to the Richmond Night Market?
Loved all your videos in Vancouver and love Street food also! That smash burger looked to die for! I’m so glad you had a good time in Vancouver❤
We’re so glad we were able to try so many places! Mahalo Brenda 🤙🏻

That thing you got from Thierry's is called cannele bordelaise, it's from the southern part of France
Gotta agree with you. That looked like the yummiest food in Vancouver. So glad you got to travel there!
#1 Happy Aloha Friday/Saturday Foodie Ohana 😋
Happy aloha weekend 🥳🤙🏻
That burger looks INCREDIBLE.
The dessert at 18:44 is called a canele. I saw this a lot in Bordeaux, France.
Food trucks and hole in the walls are the best! Looks like you two had a great trip to Vancouver! 🚆✈️ Luving these travel vlogs!!!

Burger Crush is a Victoria based burger restaurant. They just took over from the old Johnny Rockets on Nelson and Granville/Hornby.

Japadog is overrated in my opinion. The toppings don’t really go with the hotdog. There’s no harmony. Their food is very gimmicky.
