I first heard of Ricky Skaggs when he was one of the warm up acts at a Hank Williams Jr. concert in Richmond, Virginia many years ago. Ricky had the audience in the palm of his hand and totally stole the show. When he walked off the stage, I don't think anyone cared if Hank came out of not.
Awesome job. Who knew that so many music performers (not only in country music but other styles of music) would be singing a song from one of the greatest individuals of a lifetime (referring to Willie Nelson). This song has been done by a huge amount of performers from all types of genres {Country, Christian, Rock,Classic,Bluegrass, etc the list goes on and on}, (including Willie Nelson himself). I love this song

Skaggs is on more number one hits that all the Whites put together.. But he feels it's a privileged to be part of their family. It's a Christian Family, not something you might understand..
