Claudia talks to her mother, Wellbeing of Women Trustee, Eve Pollard OBE, about her thoughts on friendship, the power of art, the highs and lows of parenting and the secret of creating her trademark smoky eye.
It is a brilliantly witty and very honest as mother and daughter get together for an hour at lunchtime.
What wonderful women - Eve you are obvs a fabulous mother - I remember you back in the day as an editor - and to see you in your role as a mum and no. 1 supporter of your gorgeous daughter. Claudia - funny and fabulous and so lucky to have been brought up by Eve Pollard - you were bound to be a success in your career and more importantly as a person.

At 10?
My goodness, your picnics are the worst I've ever heard of. You make them much harder than they need to be. Today we use folding tables & chairs and an ice hest instead of a picnic basket. We like to go where we can BBQ. Where do you even find a picnic basket nowadays? Is Tupperware still in business? I am glad to hear you do like to bake. My Aunts make the best Sweet Potato Pie and are in a heated competition for the best Potato salad and Cornbread.

Strictly for affectionate mothers. One out of everyone person dies. Jesus mum was a mutual comfort to John the beloved! Jesus is the great Befriender, not a pretender and honours gender, now how come somedoctors will not differentiate now at birth? Where is your worth? On earth? Or your identity in Jesus. Great that I know women who have been devoted friends for a lifetime!

Why on earth would Claudia need a spray tan??? Surely she could tan naturally?? In fact isn't she naturally tanned anyway?? It's not as though she's properly white white like the host 🤷♂️
