This was wonderfully relaxing. Nara is just beautiful, and the deer are much better behaved than American deer. I also enjoyed learning another way the architecture helps protect buildings from earthquakes. Thank you, Aki, for taking us along.
I just wanna say how much i appreciate your videos. the editing alone...! but every video is instructive, inspiring and most importantly, fun. It is really nice to see glimpses of your friend who helps with the videos as well. Also, you totally rock the kimono look. it looks super stylish and also really comfortable. I wish there was a kimono style which was as comfortable and easy to move in for women! Also, it's so fun to see a minimalist buy something :) makes it all more real, in a way! I have been fascinated by Nara for a long time, because of the deer. seeing more of the whole town really made it come alive.... another thing on my bucket list of Japanese destinations.
I remember going to Nara a number of years ago and it was one of my favourite days out. The park, shrines and temples are beautiful and you really get a sense of the old Japan. I went into a traditional Japanese shop that made artist brushes and bought a brush which I still have today!
I love good architecture, and traditional Asian architecture always makes such a “sincere” statement - whether it is celebrating the beauty of simplicity or a celebration of respect.✨
Great video. You have such a positive and warm energy. We were in Nara in October. Todaiji Temple was a wonderful experience. In deer park we sat down to have onigiri we brought with us in a bag - big mistake. A deer took the bag from us! We were able to get it back and it was funny, but be aware to those planning to visit!
I visited Japan🇯🇵 in this month.. Totally in love and respect with this country. So beautiful, disciplined, a proper blend of tradition and modernism , technology . I was fortunate to visit Todaiji temple and Nara deer 🦌park. The deers here are roaming everywhere freely. I took many pics with the lovely deers- the messenger of God
I went to Japan with my husband in October of 2019 and visited both Nara Park and the Todai-ji Temple. What a magical and beautiful site🤍.I remember buying the deers rice crackers and getting literally surrounded and harassed by them(some were kind) but others bit my bum bum and hips to ensure they were getting their portions😂. Not exactly the Japanese warmth and politeness we experienced during our whole visit in the country😋. We really loved the place though.
Thank you very much for this video , I really enjoyed it , especially the moment when the deer bowed , I find that cute :) , keep on making great videos of Japan for us
楽しいそう! Looks like fun! >< So interesting~ the architecture of the infallible temple. すごいですね ~~ Hope to go to Japan sometime when the world is slightly more free and easy. ~^^~
Your English is getting even better! I am studying Japanese and I love the language, it trips me out when you speak Japanese words with an English r sound. Because I'm studying to do exactly the opposite!
I love your videos. How much I wish I could have visited Japan in my life. To old and physically unable now. Your videos are so real and love to see all the different places you go and how you live. I was wondering what the best Matcha tea would be to buy. I am in the U.S.A. I have never tried it. Only Jasmine, it was good. Thank you for your videos
Thanks for these travel tips ! Since I discovered your videos I have a great desire to visit Japan ! I wonder when the borders will reopen.. have a wonderful day everyone !
What an incredible place Nara is. Every time I see your videos I really want to go to Japan. Keep up with your videos, they are incredible! Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina PS: I'm sorry for my English, I'm studying a lot to learn it.
WOW it's been ages since I was in Nara ( 2003) trip with my home stay family and my sister! I love that Nara has given priority over Deer over humans! it should be everywhere! I absolutely loved Nara and even went for Kabuki! with few other friends of my Home stay family! I can't believe it's been this long! thank you for this wonderful video! and my Home stay mum also has the goshuinshou book and collects all the seals! have you been to Himeji? where they filmed last samurai? there are few temples there you can collect the seal as well :)
I am enjoying your travel videos so much. I watch one almost every day. I started with the oldest and am working my way to the present. You have another of my favorite moments in this one--when you skip or dance along the street! Watching all these videos in quick succession makes me wonder--Have you ever had food that you DIDN'T like? 😄 It seems that everything you eat is "so delicious". I wonder if you like every food! 🧡
The deer are so used to humans and being nicely treated they know what to do to get food (bowing aswell) and if not they can become very dangerously aggressive. You should always be careful and aware of that. 🤔❤️
Thank you for sharing this video. You're very lovely to watch. Though I need to ask what bag did you use for this trip? Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.
Oh man. Wafers will get you in trouble. These gangsta 🦌 will literally bite your ass if you don’t give them wafers fast enough. Overall, really cool experience.
I’m a citizen of Nara. Of course, it is impossible for the building to continue to stand there without any action being taken. Every few hundred years, major repairs are carried out and rotting wood is replaced. 😌 There is a group of professionals called ‘Miya-Daiku(宮大工)‘ who continue to maintain old temples and shrines, and traditional building techniques are passed down from generation to generation. 😌 And, there is a company located at the top of such “Miya-Daiku” in Osaka, next to Nara, but that company “Kongou-Gumi( 金剛組)” was founded in 578 A.D. is the oldest company in the World.❗️😮🍀 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 私は奈良市民です。 ❗️😮🍀

Probably because they are hunted in Nara
@@medic2831 they actually aren’t hunted in Nara. They are respected and honored. They are hinted in the USA though
Very interesting. Thank you!
You're so genuine) thanks for the video🌸
Oh Wahou a new place added to where I would love to visit ! Thank you always for your videos !
Love the bowing deer 🦌🥰

Oh never expected a wooden building to least 1400 years :O seems almoust imposible. Thats even before there were any samurai in japan.
