The difference berween the brave 7 over Brave 7 LE are: it has longer battery duration, supports voice control and WDR, performs better in waterproof function and higher resolution.
So without opening the box and camera no one can know if it is new or old firmware? I want to buy one but how can the seller confirm it is 2023 version if he sells the box sealed?
Akaso when uploading to my videos editing will not read mov to make as mp4... When buying these things they need to tell you and they don't. I have akaso brave 4pro and I got not but pain trying to convert from MOV to MP4 then it screw up the talk on the video so now I can't use that video I convert... So it looks like I'm going back to my camcorder...
I’ve have the same camera , on my motorbike stabilisation is great no problem, sound I leave off , but if using there is a cover which works well k . For the price great little device 😊👍
How do you find wind noise on the bike if you record sound? I was thinking of using an external mic placed out of the wind somewhere but I don't like that the connector is behind the cover that also exposes the SD card,
"Under water" Case doesn't hold the lens cover from falling off, Fell off in 2-3 feed of water and destroyed the camera. It is held on by a quarter turn, and as they don't sell lens accessories couldn't get a replacement and returned it broken.. Good Luck
My gopro hero9 has been plagued with issues and finally died.. I'm in limbo between the 13 or going over to DJI... I'm headed tonthe Florida keys to film fishing videos later this week and needed a camera quick... I'll see how this one performs
It's really just a Brave 7 LE. The differences are a fancier remote and a usb-C charge/mic port, and replaceable lens. BUT without a female 1/4-20 mount. The replaceable lens is a nice feature as long as Akaso makes them available to buy, I haven't seen any on the market though. The remote looks great but I never use the remotes. The best feature is the usb-C charge/mic port. I wish Akaso would have given the Brave 7 LE a usb-C port, after all the Brave 6 Plus has one. I have 3 Brave 7 LE's, 2 that don't support an external mic and one that does, and a Brave 6 Plus. I use the Brave 7 LE's on my bike handlebars, helmet and chest mount and the Brave 6 Plus is my walk and talk handheld go to. AKASO If you're listening, use industry standard microphone wiring, PLEASE. It's THE biggest weak point, sales would increase dramatically if customers could use a microphone of their choice...
Did you experience any overheating, and what was the longest clip you filmed with this. Tring to get a scenes of how long it would record for before shutting down. Great video!
I will buy one for my motovlogs❤️ I only use mobile phone with chest mount I will use akaso as my 2nd cam ❤❤❤ To make more great memries with my bike❤❤❤tnx for the review❤
It was between this and the LE because they shared the same amount of MP with my Sony ZV-1F so i could have comparable quality even thought the sensor on the ZV-1F is bigger Bought this over the LE because of the remote, then took months to find out how to even connect it to the camera, besides that i absolutely love it
unfortunately from what i can tell the only external mic that works is their own brand's lav mic which is wired, i tried to connect my wireless lav kit and it never worked with the akaso yet it works fine with my sony camera
Yes as long as you aren't using an external microphone. The usb-C port is for charging and for the microphone. Charging while recording is required for driving mode, in driving mode you plug it in to your cars switched charge port and it turns on and starts recording when the charge port receives power ( key on ) and stops recording and turns off when charge power turns off ( key off ).
Sana ma review din po yung axnen ax9 5k action camera ☺️. Madami po kasi sya features maganda din yung mic kaso wala pa gumagawa ng ganito review. Btw below php5k lang sya
After owning the Brave 7 for a few month I would say avoid it. The field of view at 170 is smaller than previous models and if you switch on stability mode, you lose even more screen. Nice camera but it’s useless unless if you just doing vlogs
If you need just basic video work, I like my v50 pro SE. Mic is not good but it all depends on what you want to do. Brave 7 is nice, the field of view for me was not acceptable for an action camera
Maybe I missed it as I skipped several parts of the video but this video is labelled (Updated 2023) due to a software update but it doesn't seem that in the video it is mentioned at all. What's improved? Was it even noticeable? The video test did nothing... no comparisons at all and last less than a minute while you dedicate almost 4 minutes to the Vlogging...
@@CMAC86 for budget low price there none im refering to EIS, just stick w/ the major brands they have the best EIS, for regular video akaso👍 but if you require any wild unstable movement the akaso EIS is 👎
At least the Akaso is reliable, when you hit record it records. I know lots of GoPro users and everyone has issues with missing clips and dead batteries.
@@truracer20 This are technical devices, so someone somewhere will always have problems. But that also applies to the Akaso. I can't confirm that there would be any relevant problems with GoPro in the points mentioned. I don't know where the problem is. Maybe bad cheap SD memory cards. Incorrect handling of batteries? Unfortunately, in my experience, a lot of people don't even have a basic knowledge of electronic devices. Even though they use these devices. Overheating exist with some GoPro models under high load and high air temperature off course, but other than that there are hardly any problems. But the question is, can the Akaso fulfill its actual purpose? We have an image quality that is approximately at GoPro3 level. With fake 4K (upscaled 1080). And we have no functioning stabilization. These cams are completely useless as an action cam. So why spend so much money ( Brave 7 150-190€ ) on a camera that you can hardly use? This is especially true for the Akaso Brave 8. For that money you can buy a new Insta360 One RS 4K ( 230€ ), and technically it is in a completely different league.
I don't have any microphone problems in my 4 Akaso cameras. Aside from a camera damaged in an ebike wreck they work flawlessly. The camera from the wreck can be glitchy. It hit the pavement lens first in a 12 mph tumble. But it still works most of the time.
They sent a free product so I can do the review. I don't ask for money in return, but just doing my honest take on their product. I'm turning down 98% of my collaboration if I cannot talk about Pros and Cons. If you watch this video, I laid it all out. 🤜🤛 Edit: P.S. I do not ask for money because my monetization alone and Amazon affiliate link can cover most of the devices here in my channel. I do honest reviews. I care less about profit 😉

If I have three Akaso Brave 7 cameras, do you think I could use one remote control to turn on all three at the same time? Thanks 👍
I dont think the software can do that.
some akaso camera's have a remote that can do that but idk about the brave 7

I’ve had that happen whilst cycling. What a big fail. I was mad as hell
Thanks for sharing this nice review!

Nope, the image stabilization is much better on the 7
Is this camera good for vlogging? And motobike rides and how long does it last for battery?
Yup! I think it will work for motobike vlogs.
Nice one bro!

Whats with the mic sounding so terrible? Was it really using the external mic? I cant figure out why it would sound like that
Does this camera also have voice command to start and stop video recording and taking a photo?
Can the Brave 7 use my batteries from my V50X?
Was the 2023 update just software? Or did they upgrade the hardware in some way?
How about the internal mic? Does it work?
How's the photo quality
Can thi pre record ?😊
Can you synchronize more than one cameras for them to start recording all at the same time ?
Is the remote waterproof ?
how to turn on dual screen
Help ! For the same price, i hesitate between several cameras : Akaso brave 7 or SJCAM SJ11 Active ?
I think that the better wireless remote alone makes the akaso better, aside from that from what i can tell they are nearly identical
Is it just me or is image stabilisation get worse as you go up in Akaso models ? V50x I have found the best of all .
Can I sync the DJI wireless mic to AKASO Brave 7?
Can we use external mic wireless?
unfortunately from what i can tell the only external mic that works is their own brand's lav mic which is wired, i tried to connect my wireless lav kit and it never worked with the akaso yet it works fine with my sony camera
Can we use other brand mic ?
I dont think you can. I tried a wireless and it didnt work.
This camera capture in 4:3 resulation please tell me
I think there's 4:3
Does the video cropped after you turn on the EIS??
Will the case fit the brave 7 le?
Its the same isnt it? LE was just launched first.
Can it take still picture also ?
It can 👍

akaso brave 7 vs go pro hero 6 ano mas better ?
Hero 6 is still solid. 👍
What are you using for your vlogs. Seems awesome. Sure it's expensive. Just like to know. Thanks
Sony A6700 as a-cam currently and A6500 as b-cam, used to be A6400. Lens got Sigma 16mm, 30mm and 56mm.

Just buy secondhand Gopro 8 it is much cheaper now!
mas linaw po talaga c GoPro.
It looks good, but you werent diving, you were snorkeling... I could imagine when diving the image wouldnt be better :(
kamusta nmn battery full use tumatagal ba?
Matagal naman. Double battery naman yung package so you can swap. Double check kung double batt makukuha mo.

Why 2.7k looks better than 4k
Kinda blurry a bit.
Akaso brave 7 failed a waterproof test at only 2ft deep
basic entry level as in basic seeing you run rating the EIS is 1 star they should not call it an action camera

Horrible for use on motorcycle, doesn't record without lagging as if it is dial up and videos won't download. Throw in garbage and buy GoPro.

Очень плохой звук. Это камера хороша для шлема, но не для прогулки.
