This was exactly the message I was searching for the week before my wedding!!!! The planning, decisions, communication & preparation was complete/set in stone but I couldn't quite shake the stress until the day of when everything aligned so magically!!!!! Exactly like you said, my party & loved ones held us up & supported us!!!! Your words are so powerful, thanks for sharing!!!!

Yes! This video is so important! On our wedding day, I am just going to enjoy the party, have fun, and soak it all in because like you said it goes by so fast. I’m not going to stress about anything. That’s also why it’s so important to book vendors that you trust. So that you can relax and leave it all in their hands. I have a coordinator that I trust to handle anything so that I can enjoy the day.

Hey, can someone explain this wedding joke to me? I saw this happen in the hall near my brother's wedding reception. A female banquet manager was upset with a caterer, who had signed up for a one-person shift. She said she didn't think he could successfully do the service alone. She was sternly all, "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen. You need someone there to give you instructions and guide you." And then the caterer said, "You know, I'm beginning to see why you manage wedding and receptions." What does his comeback mean? Whats the implied reason?

Ah, I think I understand. It sounds to me like he's implying she professionally manages weddings and receptions to make up for the fact she hasn't married. At least I assume she hasn't. If his sassy comeback involves both marriage and her job (and motive for the job), I'm going to decipher it's making fun of her as an unmarried woman who compensates for it. Let's relook at the quote: "You know, I'm beginning to *see* why you *manage wedding and receptions."* I'll bet you he said "see" in reference to her sternness, which might have kept her single, and choice of career. It does contradict her personal experience. That is some irony there.
Well, you know the old saying "What goes around comes around." If she said something cold and degrading to this caterer (who I assume has learning difficulties), no wonder he felt the need to fight back with his roast. She insulted his intellect and potential struggles, he insulted her marital status and compensating job. But remember, it's just my interpretation. Any rebuttals?

I wouldn't be so stressed if I didn't have to manage emotions of other people.

Boundaries are important. If I make a video ever again, that'll be one of my topics.
