Thao needs to go for her defunding the police but isn't that what Oakland resident wanted as a result of the BLM movement? Buyers remorse or poor decision making skills? 😂 DA Price and Prop 47 is also part of the problem. Just taking down the Mayor won't solve the issues when criminals are not held accountable and the ones who do get caught by what little police is left out there get thrown back into society because DA Price promises not to use incarceration as a form of punishment during her term in office

Yes, the mayor needs to go. People initially thought that she will come into office and change with how Oakland will handle businesses to law enforcement. As we all see, nothing has been really done except more crime and decreased police enforcement. We need to relax someone who knows what they're doing in running the city.

Oakland mayor is a progressive politician. By definition anyone opposing a progressive politician is considered a right-wing person in California. So this recall may indicate growing conservatism.

Not necessary. Everyone wants to be safe in their community regardless of the party they are in. I don't give blank vote. I vote for policies. Cracking down on criminals isn't cracking down on any political party. Trump was ordered to pay $355M for NY fraud case and one one is screaming that NY is growing conservatism.

The riots broke down all respect for authority, property, and other lives. This looting and brazen crime had never been seen before until the riots. Stop blaming the mayor for all these problems.
