I had a Healey just like this one only cream colored. The sound CANNOT be matched by any other vehicle.....ever! Pipes came out just behind driver's door, not the back, and had rather "custom" mufflers. Absolutely stunning, no other car could even come close! God, I miss that thing!.....even now, 45 years later. Even my current Boxster is not as fun or comes close to the sound of my Healey! Thank you so much for the wonderful video!
If you keep shifting down as you slow without needing or using or aligning those lower gears, you'll wear out the synchros... (I've done it, I know) Just pull it into neutral and let the brakes do the work... Lovely car, IMHO, you've done a very tasteful job here... cheers
Yes...they are now rare, of course. I think it was offered in 1962 only. And in 1963, the Healeys actually offered roll-up windows! Shocking, to the purists.
A stunning car. I have the ivory with blue, but I always envy the champagne colour. Engine sounds perfect.
My very first automobile was a 1959 3000 RHD. Absolutely beautiful vehicle!

Same situation as you..heart loved loved that car
One of the most iconic sportster ever!
Had one. It had dual carburetors which were tricky to tune. Can’t beat the sound
I had a red and black 65 Healy in 1967. Loved it.
What a gorgeous Car, my all time favorite British sports car. The sounds it makes are Intoxicating. The Fiesta Flash 🤙🏼🍺🍺🍺
This is when cars were art.
Breathtaking

It is a UK sportscar, with 150 hp you put the pedal to the metal to clear the carbs it is fast, so go to 4000 rpm before you shift gears
PS there is also a Austin healey 4000, with a 6cyl inline from rolls royce very rare
Always wanted a 3000 but couldn't justify the extra cost over the MGB.
That's not a '65. It's a '67. -Just fyi, hardly noone used 1st gear except maybe in bumper to bumper traffic.
I noticed that too, the rear lights tell you that
A car most guys would marry were it legal.
This is a drop your trousers granny as you step in car.
Secret color ? Its 1991 Cadillac champagne
How can I get this sound out of my TR6????? It’s just impossible ,,,that’s why it’s an Austin Healey….
I'll take the MGB sitting across the lot!
When I was young and stupid and full of c…but no $$$$…
Now that I have the $$$$ I don’t have the heath,,,when I’m I going to win!!!!!
Who did the restoration? Haha. And you would think he would know that that was a 67, not a 65.
Rear brake linings are screeching!
PRICE ?
PS some where with 3 su carbs 2inch

Not a great idea to park a car in a disability parking spot when trying to sell it
Needs attention to the brakes.
