Installing Board on Board Fence With Postmaster Posts | DIY | Timelapse

- This video shows how to build a Board on Board Fence from start to finish, using Postmaster Posts by Master Halco. We start with removing our vinyl ranch style fence. We then located our property markers with a metal detector. Next we used an auger to drill holes - getting stuck several times. Followed by a lot of posts, rails and pickets. Finished off by a single gate at the back and double gates at the front. Hope you enjoy our timelapse.

How many days did it take you to do your fence?
Hey Vincent. Not quite sure on the exact number of days/hours it took us as we did it over a course of a few months. As an estimate - we spent one day looking for our property line markers, a day or two laying it out and setting markers and line, two days digging holes, one day setting the posts and quite a lot of days for putting in rails, pickets, top cap and the rot boards. We spent two days on the gates. Hopefully that helps for timing your project.
what kind of wood are those new fence panels? ty
They are MicroPro Sienna treated fence boards
No crazy chance you have at least 4 corner clips left over you could mail me tomorrow? Can venmo you or something, but am having the hardest time getting them
We could not find any of those brackets either... we did not get a chance to show it in the video but we used a pressure treated 2x2 attached to the post and then attached on a standard 2x4 metal fence bracket. that was our workaround. Good luck with your fence! :)
@@livingthereno thanks for the tip, brother - I was thinking something along those lines or trying to find a Simpson strong tie that I could modify or bend or redrill as needed, but I think I like your idea more! Thanks again!
was much easier after getting the 1man
