The Birthplace of America's Sportscar: Flint, Michigan - Back To The Bricks

Just like the larger city in Michigan to the south, Flint, Michigan has a large automotive history. The first Corvette was made in Flint before GM moved production to St. Louis, and then eventually Bowling Green, Kentucky. Back to the Bricks brings over 500,000 people into Downtown Flint each year.

We had a HUGE GM plant in Doraville, GA that closed in 2008 and I used to just stare out across its vastness as I waited for the MARTA train.
Is northern Oakland County considered to be the suburbs of Flint or is it more like farm land?

Just a mix of country/Exurbs I'd say. Only Genesee County is thought of as the Flint area.

No that area is more lumped into what is called SE Michigan. Definitely not considered Flint.
