Thanks for the tournament! While it was something completely different it was still a lot of fun! Something I often miss in tournaments is when the participants don't get pushed out of their comfort zone. You certainly made sure that was the case.
It's interesting that Freepoint succeeded by doing a series of things that are kind of considered taboo/noob'ish, by using quadstacked shock infantry alongside artillery barrages, and using these kind of WW1 era tactics in a map perfectly suited to that, managed to pull the whole tournament!
Not as good as they are but maybe a few STRF-9040 for the swede could have allowed to deal with the redfor fire supports ? I always use some in Wonsan Harbor and they tend to do great job. The marder 2 could maybe have worked as well.
Really enjoyed this tournament, hope you make another one in the near future. Personally I got really interest on this map after I watched your video where you showed your custom deck, I decided to make one myself, for both BLUFOR and REDFOR, and I had some good battles with my BLUFOR one (haven't had the chance to use the REDFOR yet). With that said, was kinda sad not seeing BLUFOR use Japan and REDFOR not using enough SF to fight for the towns. To be completly honest, this last match really felt weird after seeing what boths teams were capable of. Regardless, GG, and good work on your end Stealth!
Oh, those cheeky bastards. Very clever!!! Wonsan is mostly an urban map!... What is the most effective/safe weapon against units hidden in buildings? Howitzers! At least in Wargame. MLRS and bombers won't usually cut it. So, it was pretty much BKANs (being the best howitzers in game) that won this map. Very very clever. It was not really about Fallschirmjagger. Any infantry can be a meatshield and any elite infantry can be a shock force.
Whats with the choice of regular Fallschrimjager over Fallschrimjager 90? I would have thought the rifle would have been worth having a couple less units
I wonder why razmann's team used such shit instead of elite infantery. I have seen in town only 2 li-jians wtf? Maybe its a result of kicking wonsan from list of ranked maps several years ago, and ranked generals today have a little understanding how to play on this map..
@@Atesz222 probably THE best player, along with Putin. Krot who is the top 1 player in ranked, allegedly cheated to achieve his title (doesn't make him a bad player, though)
to be honnest guys i'm pretty sure that gaming will be the future business of many companies. i think that the owners will hire gamers and only the good ones in order to promote their games products.
I mean, there are already sponsored E-Tournament/E-Sports teams. Competitive gaming already has major money in it, and plenty of companies hire 'gamers' (mostly youtuber ones) for PR reasons.

Wargame is not that popular. Even teams of 3 people are hard to set up and maintain. :D

I think he knew that they would be recieving a lot of artillery,and optedt for less cost per unit because of it.

I think Jager infs were too much here against redfor infs, it wasn't balanced at least in inf aspect.
