Lets be honest, the thing that is better in diablo 2 is: Jewels, runes, runewords, ethereal items, small big and grand charms, The chance of having a lobby with people chatting, trading, asking for help, allowing you to search different games looking at its name depending on what you specifically want, trading in game, and having a competent ladder system. In diablo 3 they have removed the chance to trade, and yeah, they have implemented a ladder rank, but i still miss all the other good things
agree and> the game is broke not finish.. (EASY) hard game is not made mob with 9,999,999,999,999 hp and 3,000,000 damage stun and posion effects in other words, blizzard made less than half game, sold it. and now just don't give a fuck they already made the money for it so they don't give a fuck anymore this what have become of blizzard.. not like old days gamers who made game for all gamers out there
Kallorser1 Ethereal items buffed the base stats of that particular item, for example: for weapons the dmg was increased, while for chest armor its armor was increased. I know what you are going to say "hey, but you couldn't repair them and they ended up breaking" FALSE. For your mercenary you could make really good runewords on ethereal items, since they don't lose durability when being used by your follower those items never got broken. In addition some of the runewords had ZOD rune into it, wich made them indestructible, or even some of them that didn't had ZOD rune, had an extra stat that recovers durability per second, wich is pretty much the same. Even for unique items, not just runewords. For those unique items that had indestructibility or recovering durability per second, being ethereal was a notorious advantadge (if you ever managed to get an ethereal grand father you will know what i mean. So... yeah, really, they were a plus, and some of them were EXTREMELY hard to find.
I like Diablo II, and honestly I'm still a complete noob. Thanks for the lecture, no sarcasm, I'll remember that. I was going off of what my big brother told me.
Did he say they executed this game good? Did he know about the midnight release and launch day issues? Blizzard dropped the ball EVERYWHERE with this game. Story, Auction House, Game Play, Loot Drops, you HAD to be online to play.... This is when Blizzard showed us how far they had fallen from being a great game company.
I disagree with everything you said. The game is great. The only thing I would have changed is dumping the auction house. That and I would have made it much harder. Thankfully with the new changes, you can se the difficulty level, so I am enjoying the game again. But the game play is great, the story is great, the graphics are great, etc.
+Mr.JC3241 Not exactly something you do when explaining the "whys" to a fan base of over 450,000. As he mentioned in the beginning of the video, this was a message for the people whom subscribed specifically for D3 content.
+Kali Thanks, thought it might have been a "break" in the game, like when I stopped playing Skyrim, cause I invested so much time into making a godly spellcaster with a huge amount of magika....and *Then* found out that with 4 enchantments I could make *ALL* spells cost zero, granted a few exceptions... but... just the idea that a dumbass fighter could OUT CAST ME... just because of his clothing....... Dropped the controller and quit. But no... this guy just spent money to end his own joy... SMH
+Danko Mrkonjić I dont think so, iwas much younger too in the d1 and d2 days... i didnt get addicted to d3 but i get addicted to dark souls for example... so is not about the age its all about a good quality game (sorry my bad english)
+Danko Mrkonjić I was super young for Diablo 1 too and loved it. Try some of the current mods for Diablo 1. Great fun and more of a challenge. Diablo 1 had the best atmosphere of all the games though I prefer the gameplay of Diablo 2
they made the rare loot drops so astronomically low it forces you to buy it in the AH, something they decided to take out and fix for the console versions because people found out about it
I agree 100%. I grew on d1 and d2. This game only uses diablo name to lure you in. Its a dumb down version of wow. I guess it would have been too complicated for younger audience. Also always online means no gaming while on holidays or away from internet. Blizzard can go and screw them self i will not be buying anything from them again. And reaper of souls is just more of the same crap.
Acually, I don't think RoS is just the same crap. I too stopped playing Diablo 3, for the same reasons as Force, but now since the release of patch 2.0.1 the game is much MUCH more fun! The AH is being taken offline, the loot is great (Legendarys is acually good) and im having a blast! I recommend you to try again! :)
lol...you say you agree 100%, but did you really listen? He said aside from the RMAH, it was what it was meant to be, it's a grind game, JUST like d2.

D2 was a fucking joke compared to what D3 is now. 1button builds grinding 1 boss all the time for an abysmal chance at getting a specific item. You're getting carried off the nostalgia. Not the memory of gameplay.
Diablo 3 isn't Diablo-y enough, that's the problem. It's too Warcraft, too League of Legends, has a touch of anime and the English-accent-worshiping cult, as well as the inane story-telling that is plaguing this decade of game development. Though it had some good moments, but overall your grind has no purpose, it's not rewarding to waste 1-2 hours of repetition only to find something not-so-scary, not-so-thought-through, you're not looking forward to shemale Diablo or progressing characters who don't have some kind of realistic humanity and vulnerability to them I think. The game doesn't have enough creepiness, gloom, hopelessness that Diablo 1 especially was thriving on, it was embodied in the theme song to Tristram which has been jerked around ever since in an attempt to invoke some resuscitation of that X-factor it has, but pasting something scary on something cartoony and hopeful makes everyone see through their disguise for what it is. With that, Diablo 3 would've probably gotten higher ratings if it had another title, it reminded me too much of Dota, HoTS, LoL etc. In my opinion, D1 & D2 were fantastic, though D2 may have steered a bit away from the hopelessness, but it stayed within the limits I'd say.
Diablo 2 had no hopelessness in it you just waded your way through weak enemies like in 3 diablo 2 is liked because of the freedom of customization where diablo 3 is limited but diablo 3 has more hopelessness in it if you crank up the difficulty on hardcore cuz then you really have to think about the moves you make or ull die
The difficulty adjustment only works its magic when you're not fighting something cuddly. :P I played D2 on Normal as a kid first, I couldn't get through Blood Raven for 2-3 attempts, and it was scary to leave the encampment, go far into the wilderness or deep into caves. Let alone later on facing Andariel, Duriel in Act II, Mephisto and so on. Of course now I find it way easier that I know what is to come and the difficulties come in handy now. But D2 did a great job of making me not want to go out there in a good way, while D3, when I look at it, it feels like an anime movie sort of - you get the feeling the hero won't die regardless of what shows up, it's smoother and more "hand-holdy", it's not rugged and dark like D1 & D2. The monsters aren't monstery, they feel like just another enemy target. I feel hopeful going through D3, don't know how to explain it better than this, the sounds and movements and animations give me the impression of a quivery "We ride at dawn & yay adventure!", in D1 and D2 it was like "Oh God no, not in/out there". Haedrig having to kill his wife is an example of a good part in the plot I think, they could've made it even better, it's dark to see someone you hold dear or knew turn into something so vile and turn on you. But these kinds of things were so rare in D3, it's just not up to par.
Between the gameplay feel and the aesthetic, playing Diablo 1 with The Hell mod revives the feeling I got first playing the game in the 90s Of course as we're more and more familiar with these kinds of game mechanics, how stats work, AI exploits.etc the games are going to feel easier- but that's not the feeling of playing it for the first time - and despite the nostalgia goggles- certain things such as The Hell mod, or other games such as Path of Exile, demonstrate that that feeling, atmosphere and sense of danger and dread CAN be recreated.
I haven't been on your channel before but just wanted to comment that I love how respectful and thoughtful you are. That can sometimes feel like a rarer quality when it comes to gaming. You are straight up an awesome guy man!!!
Im considering purchasing this game and i just want to know, is it one of those games where you continuously repeat the same missions to grind for new gear and if so does it get repetative quickly?
its a long campaign, easy 20hrs and thats if u dont grind to lvl ur character up. there r 5 or 6 difficulties to play but they r lvl capped so u gotta lvl up to play em. u get 5 classes to pick from, 6 if u get the crusader. i bought the 360 ver for 5 bucks, deff worth. u cod prob get it cheaper on pc. oh to answer u, yea there is alot of grinding if u plan on playin the other hard modes
Diablo 3 isnt fun, thats the simple bottomline. Also, the removal of druid, necromancer and paladin classes...meant I despised the mentality behind the design process. Not to mention player limit from 8 to 5 did not make me happy. Tried it, it didnt live up to expectations, infact...I now firmly believe Blizzard is living on old fame.
The fact that they made it so story based (where d2 was sparse in comparison) was a big mistake. Especially when the story was such shit and they killed off one of the most iconic characters with a rita repulsa copy paste using butterfly magics.
getblunted4life Almost everywhere feels this way about billzard, the 3 best games they made are all almost 15 years old. AND STILL BETTER THAN THE NEW RELEASES.
syntaxed2 I agree for the most part. Hearthstone isn't too bad (for a card game) and HOTS is actually pretty fun though. So those games are alright, but the change in direction for their Diablo and Warcraft franchises have made it more likely to pull in a large crowd, but fans of the older times of these franchises feel like Blizz doesn't care about them. I know many players that are new to these franchises that LOVE the games, but ALL of the old players I know feel like they've just turned into shit. No one I know that played the original diablo games, or the original WoW, like the newer installments of these games. With WoW you might be able to make the argument that they are burnt out, but D3 was a HUGE disappointment to all of my friends that played the original D1 and D2. So now people buying their new xpacks for WoW and their new games are only buying it off of their faith in the company from their earliers days.
Shayne Gordon Warcraft 1 & 2 beats the shit out of world of Warcraft (3 i'm not so sure), I cant believe your toting wow as something good they did to me that killed one of the best strategy games of a generation. "STOP POKING ME!" & "ZUG ZUG" were so iconic to my generation of gamers. Star-craft is Warcraft in space, and many of us wanted to see an orc faction in that back when, in fact i recall there was a mod for sc1. I think sc2 has done well with the story but it is set too close to the brood war i would have enjoyed a longer time gap to reflect reality and frankly i don't like the direction it took making the zelnaga bad and the overmind good, it was never the impression I had, and i notice we simply gloss over cerebrates and the regrown overmind the terrain dominion captured and had killed... As to Diablo III & ROS Well I frankly enjoy the story arcs of all three, I feel that universe has evolved as i expect it to mostly. game mechanics wise it has very little long term re-playability unless you form a party or have a friend over to lan it with. that was always the attraction of that DC had very little to do with the game and more to do with the mates you had over to play with you, in allot of ways the problem is the loss of lan and the growth of MMORPG as globally we may be more connected but ultimately were alone. as someone who has both on-line gaming friends and local gaming friends (who i lan old games with) I will say i enjoy the local games far more because there are people in my house with me and not on the other end of a wire.
Lord Langford I agree that the Warcraft RTSes were better, but I mentioned old WoW because it was better than the more recent expansions. D3 had a decent story, but I don't like a lot of the changes to things like character development, and like you said, the removal of LAN. I didn't play WC1, but I played WC2 and WC3 extensively. The fact that WoW effectively killed that series of games upsets me to a great extent as well. With Starcraft I am speaking mostly off of hear say. I played SC1 maybe once, and I've only played a couple dozen SC2 games. I think the changes to the games mechanics and styles are aimed more at a broad audience, rather than at long time fans. Like I said most people I know that played the older games don't like the new ones because of the things they changed, and how they changed them.
I can agree, I picked up Diablo 3 midnight drop! , I played it .. Few months also tried the new character. Then .. I got bored, you know what really made me take a step back from Diablo 3 to keep going forward was the skill build. Idk if cause I was born on Diablo 2 with the amazing sense of playing it first hand first sense of fear and excitement, it was really fun and Diablo 3. The excitement and fun finished so quickly. My Diablo 3 is in box on shelf collecting dust.
For real, and he seems to believe that we're deeply concerned...and therefor must be discussing (amonget ourselves) all the reasons why ^WE* think he stopped playing D3... what a catturd.
+shadym80 i like D1 better because of the books too loot, it was awesome too finally find the book of fireball or like omg hellfire exp added the book of apocalypse Lol
Also d1 was more original rpg like, now days you got idk what kind of rpgs, there used too be a secret or still is a secret wall in the cathedral in d2 that took you to the crypts on d2.
D2 is not dead! I've been actively playing it for the last 2 years, trying out various builds and specs. It will never die as log as there are gamers in this world:) P.S. If you were talking about D3 the same conclusion applies, now that they've gotten rid of the RMAH.
is it? looks to me like no one has posted in 2 years..... If I played d2 I would see if that server was active, but I cant imagine it being much better than the numbers from b.net, which are so low, its kind of sad: [03:14:55 PM] There are currently 402 users playing 227 games of Diablo II, and 28020 users playing 12648 games on Battle.net.
Check out the update, the new patch is in, heard players are very happy about the major changes, upload the update patch, and you may change your mind.
The point of the real money auction house was to MAKE money off the game. The only reason to BUY from it is if you are a heavy PvPer, really. The idea was to sell the gear you've spent time grinding for, and make money from it, rather than in-game gold.
Just out of interst did anyone make money from the game -- Personally I got hacked and couldn't be fucked getting the authenticator. so I can't use the RMAH.. but even with in game gold the economy is so screwd anyway. There is no excitement in getting legendarys anymore -- when you find a good legendary you dont get excited anymore you just think "'great I made $2.50 ( or a few million gold if you dont use real money)""
***** Its because nobody had actually tried to make money with the AH instead of buying stuff. I was totally excited about it, only to find it taken away from me before I am high enough to implement it. ... thanks guys... thanks
***** So there is a cost to keep the game running, I get that. But what cost is the AH really having? Does it require additional resources or funds to keep running for those who want it? Or is removing AH just a way to shut up those who continue to bitch about it?
***** How can I know, when I have not had the opportunity to use it? All I hear out of your end is bitchfest. I still enjoy the game, for what it is. I saw an interesting opportunity and wanted to take advantage of it, only to see it taken from me before I even get the chance. You call that greed? Enlighten me, just what HAS the AH done that hurt D3 all that much, except for PvPers who whine and bitch about "pay to win" Before you say that (if you are), PvPers have never impressed me in the least, and have done more harm to the gaming community as a whole than any in game implementation ever could.
Nick P Same. Being an old school RPG fan I hate that there's no skills/attributes like D2. There are skills yes, but you can change them anytime. Overall, it's a solid game honestly. If I were asked whether I thought it should be released (as a producer or something of that nature) I would say absolutely. As an old school gamer, and fan of older RPGs, I'd say it's awful. Overall it's a good game from a business standpoint, and in the sense that many more people will play it than a lot of older RPGs had. However, as a fan of D2, I think it's terrible.
I just started season 2 today. No more auction house, a small bit more legendary drops. I stopped playing it over 8 months ago, but I started again this morning and I like it a lot more personally.
i wish they would implement legit pvp system.. only reason why people grind for better gear is to beat other players but ladder rank.. idk it doesnt motivate me to be in higher ladder system
Asgardians3t more people on d3 now - and a far better game - more to do in d3, no need to "mule" gear like in d2, d2 is so bugged, old, its a dead horse, dated graphics, a need to mule shit, character pops, bugged out to the high heavens, only thing good about d2 is the soundtrack at this point, PVP was fun but that was about it more progression in d3, more mechanics, better visuals, more systems in place, d3 has improved again and again and again - to each their own I spent years on d2 as well but its dead now, I mean you need health pots, fill up an entire inventory, and the old crappy text based friends list ? no thanks, logging into battle.net application desktop app is much easier and more streamlined nowadays im sorry I cant agree d2 was great for its time, but d3 you dont have to mule gear, no worries about bugged ass characters or people using all these diff hacks, its easier to log in, play game, and get going - clans, achievement system, greater rift system, paragon system, more acts to come, more areas to explore, and the new loot 2.0 system makes gearing up and getting going and trying different builds out (and resetting your passive skills) MUCH easier, the game is much more streamlined and easier to jump into whether your casual or more dedicated...i think d3 is a superior title at this point.
the only hack pple were using is Map hack and bot hack which were totally acceptible although in some servers today they r both banned either way i never used a bot hack anyway i never could get any cool gear on battle net since i didnt play long enough on it
Asgardians3t very true the only thing that diablo 3 makes it better is that because of its graphics but i still fear the ambiance of diablo 2 its much darker than 3
To be honest, the item drop system is still too loose, you gotta rely on a random chance, to get a legendary you need, that is IF a legendary even drops, cus the stats don't scale... So in all honesty you benefit more from lower difficulty, than higher difficulty. Once it actually drops, it might not even be something you need, and the green item sets, have an even lower chance to drop, i've been playing on torment for a while now, and i have yet to find any sets of items that allow me to play higher difficulty than level 1 torment. Instead of having rare items drop more often in higher difficulty, why not just scale the stats of the items instead, up so you at least feel like you're progressing when a legendary actually fucking drops? Right now it feels like i'm trying to get past a door i need a key to open, when the key i need to open is on the other side of the door, wich is the whole reason i need to get past that door to begin with! It just feels tedious and... pointless! >_> Even though torment is meant to increase legendary drop rates, they still feel alot more rare than the legendaries that drop in normal mode... that's just freaking silly, tbvh. If you wanna make a change... make it feel like an actual change goddammit! >:C EDIT: I'm glad they removed the action house though, i never understood why blizzard added it to begin with, it's the ONE thing, i absolutely, could not understand the point of, when diablo 3 was released.
There really isn't anything wrong with Diablo 3. The only reason you wouldn't wanna continue playing it, is if you weren't a big fan of Hack n' Slash RPG. I beat the game before the expansion arrived, and I still play it today. It's just simply a game to keep you busy.
A game to keep you busy, lol. I just started hardcore, 2 dead heroes and I'll be starting over tomorrow. My main hero is paragon 7. The grind continues tomorrow.
My lvl 28 mage died today. Shouldn't have happened, had some leech players making monsters even tougher. Next time Ill boot the leeches and live till 60+, para 60+ and beyond....
Ya I'm getting the NEW DIABLO 3 SOON because I got robbed and they stole MY diablo 3 and guide book and other stuff...it's been a few months but I can't wait to play agin xD I really like like this genre.
Prism Sage You do realize that even if your stuff got stolen all of that information is account bound right? Just go download your stuff directly from blizzard. Or do you miss the little Diablo 2 USB figurine? And as for the guidebook... have you checked the atrocious number of walkthroughs online?
In New Tristram talk to Nek the Brawler and click on Enter the Training Grounds. Nek the Brawler is located just below where all your followers are. Big Fat guy with no shirt on.
Himmelstuerzer exactly mu opinion diablo 1 has that wonderful dark and horror atmosphere,so deep and scary diablo 1 amazing experience diablo 3 is total shit, and diablo 2 not near diablo 1
Alex Silver it might had that dark and horror atmosphere you're talking about back then, in 1996, 20 year ago. Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling that D1 is a bad game, it's a wonderfull game, i've personally spent few hundred hours playing this game, but nowadays i'd rather play something newer, D2 for example... or Path of Exile, or Grim Dawn. D1 is not the same for me, seems too limited and narow after experiencing many and many other ARPGs
You guys know what? Half of the team of Blizzard that created Starcraft 1 left during the production of Wrath of the Lich King. 90% of the Diablo 2 team left during the production of Diablo 3. You wonder why this game is not what Diablo 2 was? Not worth calling it a sequel? THEY JUST LEFT. Blizzard changed. It's policy and stuff, but first of all the staff changed... So the good old times are over, once and for all... BUT... Blizzard is still producing good games... even if it is not the genius things we are used from Blizz, but they are still good games for the new guys... Maybe, from that point of view, you can enjoy those games more... As I myself try to enjoy them more and lower my anger... Let's give Reaper of Souls a chance...
True, Blizzard company itself can be considered a newly born company since almost all developers they had left. Reason why there is no progress and every new expansion are plainly remodel + recycled. The company reset itself and everything went back to zero, so its logical games would be remodel +recycle.
Tricky Dicky Yep. I am not sure with the numbers but it is around 90%. mvpmickey1 100% correct. Sad but true story. The thing with it is, most developers that left were those who fought for content over income. Maybe the "good old"-gamers of WoW and stuff should trust in the developers of Guild Wars - ArenaNet. Those go to work at weekends without getting payed just to complete an addon or something, because they want it completed and want to play it themselves...
@@strangerdanger5998 We have lots of great choices: * _Diablo 3_ is the **drinking** man's game * _Path of Exile_ is the **linking** man's game * _Grim Dawn_ is the **thinking** man's game Hell, even Torchlight 2 and Titan Quest.
The reason you didn't enjoyed it is that all in life has a moment. You enjoyed Diablo 2, great. At that time, you made huge expectations of Diablo 3, and when it came (and it took a long while) you were no longer the same person.
This is the main reason I quit playing most games within this type of genre. (and MMOs) It's just always a total grind for better things, then they'll make an expansion and you'll have to grind even more and more and more.
And then you listen to an opinion of a hater whos going to tell you the expansion only has 1 or 2 things to offer, while completely disregarding all the patch note changes. The game itself is alot of fun now.
awais anwar I think the main reason I cant really get the expansions is you do all that work, get all the highest possible stats, etc. only to have it taken even further because of a level cap increase.... As bothering as that is, you're not really going to be able to stop it cause players will always cry that they want more and more and more. With that said, that's also what destroys most game that will listen to the players more often than think whats better for the game itself. :)
Jessy Wallace Whats wrong with wanting more? its not "cry" in any kind of game fans will want more to work towards thats how games and progression works.
Nothing is really wrong with it. People will just want them to keep making more and more to the point that they will push the content out and it's not that good.
While I disagree with the idea of having to be online in order to play the game, my playtime has always been focused on multiplayer, online play, anyhow. What killed the desire to play D3 for me was the same thing Force mentioned: the feeling that you can't progress in the game without the Auction House. In the first two games, you could progress by simply spending time. You would keep leveling up, keep finding gear, and keep improving if you just kept at it. In Diablo 3, however, I found myself "stuck" because I never found good enough gear to survive, "stuck" because the game scaled up faster than I could, "stuck" because--after a certain point--I needed "outside help" of some sort to continue onward. As grouping was both problematic and annoying at the time, the inability to solo was the insurmountable wall that ended it for me. Since that time, many changes have been made, but having already been "betrayed" by Blizzard once, I don't think I'm willing to shell out $50 to find out whether or not they've fixed things.
I stopped playing, because whats the point of Grinding for better gear when youve beaten the entire game on all of its difficulties? I sunk weeks into diablo 2 because I love to experiment with different item/talent/skill builds. But in D3, you have every skill. So after you finish the game, whats there left to do? Theres little to no reason to play after youve beaten the game, no incentive to keep grinding for better gear. Not to mention its easy as fuck.
BikouTenma You can complete the entire game without DYING ONCE on expert difficulty except if you meet one of them Nemesis maybe, Diablo 1 had some challenge and some riddles you had to use your brain. The Music was better and the game just overall was better than D2 and D3 in my opinion.
+Oliver Draathelvete I disagree about the soundtrack. I think all of the tracks are phenomenal, and reminiscent of each other and past games. Though I do believe in comparison to the older games, there just seems to be an over stimulation of every other feature (visuals, UI, SFX, FX animation etc.) so the soundtrack seemingly takes the back seat now, compared to how much it stood out in D1/D2. I got chills with the atmosphere the music set even sitting in town, in the first act in Diablo 2. I appreciate how much they have retained the same style of music, yet it no longer stimulates me the way it once had.
+BikouTenma By "finish" the game, do you mean "complete" 100%? All trophies and items, and specially the "challenges". Yeah, m8. Good fucking luck finding the Cow and Goblin levels.
***** I complete all the difficulties, found the best gear i could, etc. And yeah, I found the cow level. Pretty easy, I didnt play when the goblin level was released. To be honest though, who considers a game "beat" when the trophies are all unlocked? You beat a game when the credits roll.
I'm currently working on a whirlwind barb I have 2 doomslayer swords and that's it XP even with like 300-400% magic item find bonus I'm still getting super shitty items
For me it was the constant grind of the same old content. I hated it. Then the huge slap in the face of this expansion adding only one level of content and again all you have is that grind for gear. No thanks, Path of Exile is a much better game and it's free.
Minimovex what do you mean? is he lying? i played d3 too at launch and it was the exact same levels and bosses except they got harder but the levels/mobs/bosses were the exact same. and you had to play the same shit over and over again just harder mobs in order to get better gear.
i got to disagree with u path of the exile is a more or less like diablo except that the skill tree is over complicated and the controls are a lot less than fluid overall id give POE a 7 on a 1-10 scale and thats only because the graphics are decent
JoeRucas PoE skill tree overcomplicated. This game was created by D2 fans and it shows. I gues 5 skill s u get in d3 is enough for you and is it looks like blizzard was targeting you alikes for this game.
i quit Diablo II for almost this exact reason years ago. I hit max level, got the gear and just did not see the point at all. besides PvP, i still didnt see the point in reaching the end.
Can I just mention how boring Diablo 2 bosses are? They literally don't do anything. Diablo shoots fire forward. Side Step it. That's it. Bael makes clones. Ignore them and kill him. That's it.
The game killer was that you can't build your caracter completely by yourself, where YOU choose the stats and YOU choose which abilities you want to level up and YOU choose which abilities should be strong, like skill trees give a sence of perpose...with diablo III it's just, everything is handed to you on a silver plate
I did it too and I was about to ask blizzard for a refund just because doubt hitted me badly. Than I tried the beta and I still have hope. Loot 2.0 could be its salvation + the ah closing.
hey guys! What I've heard is that they are on the release of the new act will take away auction house and make it more about finding the right gear in the game instead! Just wanted to let you know!
in this time i have stop to play the both im imore play a war strategy in reel time .the game is called R.u.s.e.i have alot fun with this game . and in path of exile im wizard i use this build : 5l-6s/Arc+faster casting+chance to critical strike+damage multiplier+life leech(because i use ghost reaver in my tree) and my 6thd socket not linked i use elemental weakness. 4l/cold snap+cold damage+elemental poliferation+area effect (50%chance to freeze) 4l/ligning trap+added lighning damage+multitrap+added chaos damage 3l/molten shell+cast when damage taken+ cold snap 3l/reduced mana+discipline+clarity 4l/storm call+spell totem+concentrated effect+added lighning damage im lighning build(shock duration shock chance) that work good:)
You realise there is no AH in the game right now, right? Also, they put the AH in the game to avoid people selling the items illegally. If you think the AH ruins your game then don't use it =)
auction house was removed years ago...after the expansion and all the updates this game has pretty much become an exact copy of d2 with a few more perks
I'm just wondering, because I never played the PC version and never played the other versions and started on D3 the last year or so, I still don't really understand the difference between the PC and ps3 version do you know what the difference between them?
How's your view on the patch 2.0.1, Force? I found i'm enjoying myself again with the game. When i quit, i didn't even hit level 60 and now i'm having fun gearing up my characters w/o using the shitty online auction house, the reason i quit the game at first place.
+Tomasz Sz no way man cas to me first of all POE dosnt have as good graphics as D3 and u level up so slowly. like the first quest u get has u go through A TON of zombies just to get to the quest location and ur nowhere near leveling up while in D3 u would gain like 5 levels in the first 30 mins of the game. in POE u gain 1 level in the first 30 mins not to mention its hard as hell compared to D3 ( at least the first quest is )

blake whitlow you can easily gain 10 levels in 30 minutes in path of exile.. you are very bias considering the fact you play the game for 30 minutes and claim it is shit because you cant play it right, research about a game before playing it.
Dunno what u guys think now but i love playing this game now. AH was lame, could just buy your character which is fucked. But now theres alot more to do, best of which is grift climbing..which takes actual skill and knowledge of class. Another great thing in d3 ive noticed is classes get spotlights, season 3 DHs were epic now monks are owning.. I wonder when wizards get a go. Best game out atm
+Betcha Sorrie yeah i agree 100% so much better atm than a few years back.. i wish it was released back then in the current state of the game. as for the wiz devs confirmed they already finished re-working tals and firebirds (and the under powered sets for all other classes also so they might be number one class next patch! i am pretty excited for it myself :D
To me the AH ruined the game.... It didn't feel like Diablo anymore, it felt redundant that they even put it there in the first place. Once the AH is gone, it. will. be Diablo again!
Well, I'm glad that I have never heard about AH until now. I will not being using, or correctly I don't know use it, but I don't mind. I got Diablo 3 for Christmas for PS3, started playing it right a way. I'm a girl who loves games. Never played Diablo before now. So I'm a newbie to the World of Diablo. Really hope that you will love playing Diablo 3 again.
D3 really is a pointless mess of a game and I don't blame Force for quitting... You basically throw money at it and you're done. The level of your gamers O.C.D. is in direct correlation to how much money you waste on it. Meaning, if you want like near perfect legendary gear on every item slot you're going to be spending at least 500 bucks on a single character... not to mention the AH is ever changing it's supply so you'll never be content with your gear. It's the biggest gaming scam I've ever seen by Blizzard but it's so blatantly obvious... yet we still went for it. I myself was saying we were gonna be able to buy gold off of 3rd party websites months before the game even came out and that it was going to be the only way to get really good gear... sure enough, it happened. I myself spent 200 dollars on it but I have a Monk that can steam roll MP10 solo or in groups... and now? All that gear is going to be obsolete come RoS in a few months... money and time wasted. My advice would be to not even bother touching this game until the expansion. I've been watching streams of RoS beta gameplay and all of our level 60 Godly Legendary gear is going to look like magic items come RoS.
***** Dragon Age was a great game, even though it was easy, it was still fun. Dragon Age II was terrible I thought. My suggestions for D&D games are rather commonplace, I'm not that in to D&D but here's a few: Chronicles of Mystara, Daggerdale and Baldur's Gate I and II. Mystara and Daggerdale are both easy and Baldur's Gate is annoyingly shit bastard tough due to shitty A.I. and permadeath on party members... so it's one extreme or another... there is no middle ground. Dungeon Siege II is like a Diablo II clone in full 3-D... I never played it but heard good things.
I paid 60 dollars and haven't logged in for more than a year and and a half, lol. I don't even know what the password is anymore and all those security questions. Main reason why I got bored after 6 weeks was it didn't have stat points to allocate and the game is very console like (no-brainer hack and slash), doesn't have that Diablo feel anymore.
Diablo 3 is for the new age kiddos. If you get online & Ask anyone in A Diablo 3 lobby if they have played Diablo 2 they will say NO. & If they did try & play it they would give up Diablo 3. For the simple fact that D3 was not A dark And Gothic game. it's like World of Warcraft. It's gay
Lol, Diablo 3 is Gay because None of the original People that Made Diablo Had any part in D3. They had there own agenda for the new age kiddos. they screwed up. Get on Diablo 2 & you will see.
I never said PoE is better than D3, or vice versa... Am just saying PoE won some accolades while D3 didnt get any... Which means that experts, statisticians, analysts etc are not totally biased towards big companies and they acknowledge Indie devs too.. AND STOP DERIVING CONCLUSIONS OUT OF NOTHING
I like Diablo, but i don't grind out for gear. I'm getting a Wizard and Monk to lvl 60 then i'll have all 5 characters at 60. Then I'm done until they introduce new people to use.
Your explanation is exactly why I stopped playing, it was all about the Action House and spending real money for items to get you further. There was no point beyond that to keep playing.
i got a diablo reaper of souls AD for this video. would you not recommend this game for a player who has never tried a diablo game? or was it great and you just got burned out from playing it so much and grinding?
I have played Diablo 1 & 2 (2 currently) since they first came out and always gone back to them. But Diablo 3? I played and enjoyed for a few weeks and got bored at a couple of months. Never went back to it
+Pratik Hazari Yep, LOTS of us still on there for PvP. D2 classic even has a few people playing but it's a very low population, like barely double digits. But it's all still there!
I was thinking of buying the game i dont know, could you make a new video about it and the expansion ? Auction house is also getting removed from the game.
I went from 1 to max level within 2 weeks, beat the Campaign and Reaper of Souls in the same time frame as a Crusader, and now I just don't even want to play it anymore. :(
***** Sadly it's not mine. I use my own account to play StarCraft and I used my friend's to play Diablo III. We swapped accounts so I could play Diablo III while he got to try out Heart of the Swarm and Wings of Liberty.
I left the game 3-4 months in after realizing the rmah was mandatory for anyone who didn't have to time and willpower to grind 10 hours-a-day. Its been a year and half since this vid and I just subed to this channel. RoS is getting me excited again so I'll watch this channel going into the expac.
I just tried Diablo 3 and it seemed well done, but it just felt like I was just clicking on enemies to kill them and there was no challenge or compelling story or anything. Very nice atmosphere and quality control though.
I felt exactly the same with WoW, Diablo3, LOTR and loads of other games. You set yourself a goal to get to max level, get certain gear and then it's like.... what to do now and where did all that time go? Thats why I stopped playing mmo games.
In diablo 3 they have removed the chance to trade, and yeah, they have implemented a ladder rank, but i still miss all the other good things
agree and>
the game is broke not finish.. (EASY)
hard game is not made mob with 9,999,999,999,999 hp and 3,000,000 damage stun and posion effects
in other words, blizzard made less than half game, sold it. and now just don't give a fuck
they already made the money for it so they don't give a fuck anymore
this what have become of blizzard..
not like old days gamers who made game for all gamers out there
Ethereal items a plus? Really?
Biggest fail for me was monetizing stats and abilities. There goes the fun of building what you want : (
Did he say they executed this game good? Did he know about the midnight release and launch day issues? Blizzard dropped the ball EVERYWHERE with this game. Story, Auction House, Game Play, Loot Drops, you HAD to be online to play.... This is when Blizzard showed us how far they had fallen from being a great game company.
Well and all of this issues will be adressed in RoS so yeah. Ok, not the online only but the rest are pretty much covered.
I disagree with everything you said. The game is great. The only thing I would have changed is dumping the auction house. That and I would have made it much harder. Thankfully with the new changes, you can se the difficulty level, so I am enjoying the game again. But the game play is great, the story is great, the graphics are great, etc.
hello there I'm from the future and it's not looking good in terms of how good a company Blizzard is now xd
@@Hi_I_am_Ed Every??? Even campaign, which destroyed at the begging 2014, isn' t repair after 2 and the same 8 years :(
Diablo 2 > Diablo 1 > That super nintendo game you played once and never played again > Diablo 3
+insane250 lmao (totally agree)
+insane250 hahahaha omg you made my day
+Natanael Flores HAHAHA
goodness gracious listening to this was an accident, could of got the message across in 30 secs
+Mr.JC3241 Not exactly something you do when explaining the "whys" to a fan base of over 450,000.
As he mentioned in the beginning of the video, this was a message for the people whom subscribed specifically for D3 content.
+Mr.JC3241 I think I can provide an even shorter TL;DR, using one sentence lol.... "I used AH to purchase end game gear and then got bored"
SMH
Nothing can't compare with Diablo 1, maybe the reason is because I was younger, much younger?
+Danko Mrkonjić I dont think so, iwas much younger too in the d1 and d2 days... i didnt get addicted to d3 but i get addicted to dark souls for example... so is not about the age its all about a good quality game (sorry my bad english)
+Danko Mrkonjić diablo 1 always has a special place for me,game too boss to handle
Agree on that, my heart rate was always 120, best for fat loose.
+Danko Mrkonjić I was super young for Diablo 1 too and loved it. Try some of the current mods for Diablo 1. Great fun and more of a challenge. Diablo 1 had the best atmosphere of all the games though I prefer the gameplay of Diablo 2
+MsFlamingFlamer Refer to my name
This entire video could be summarized in a tweet.
"Sorry, I am just not getting much out the game anymore."
He was a huge noob
diablo2 is the bestest
they made the rare loot drops so astronomically low it forces you to buy it in the AH, something they decided to take out and fix for the console versions because people found out about it
I agree 100%.
Jake Devoum You are a fucking idiot
Jake Devoum
I expect you're wrong, and he's remembering the days before Enigma runeword and "synergies".
I played D2 on Normal as a kid first, I couldn't get through Blood Raven
for 2-3 attempts, and it was scary to leave the encampment, go far into
the wilderness or deep into caves. Let alone later on facing Andariel,
Duriel in Act II, Mephisto and so on. Of course now I find it way easier
that I know what is to come and the difficulties come in handy now. But
D2 did a great job of making me not want to go out there in a good way,
while D3, when I look at it, it feels like an anime movie sort of - you
get the feeling the hero won't die regardless of what shows up, it's
smoother and more "hand-holdy", it's not rugged and dark like D1 &
D2. The monsters aren't monstery, they feel like just another enemy
target. I feel hopeful going through D3, don't know how to explain it
better than this, the sounds and movements and animations give me the impression of a quivery "We ride at dawn & yay adventure!", in D1
and D2 it was like "Oh God no, not in/out there".
Haedrig having to kill his wife is an example of a good part in the plot I think, they could've made it even better, it's dark to see someone you hold dear or knew turn into something so vile and turn on you. But these kinds of things were so rare in D3, it's just not up to par.
Between the gameplay feel and the aesthetic, playing Diablo 1 with The Hell mod revives the feeling I got first playing the game in the 90s
Of course as we're more and more familiar with these kinds of game mechanics, how stats work, AI exploits.etc the games are going to feel easier- but that's not the feeling of playing it for the first time - and despite the nostalgia goggles- certain things such as The Hell mod, or other games such as Path of Exile, demonstrate that that feeling, atmosphere and sense of danger and dread CAN be recreated.
what has diablo 3 to do with LoL? idiot
Joey Tribbiani how you doin
I haven't been on your channel before but just wanted to comment that I love how respectful and thoughtful you are. That can sometimes feel like a rarer quality when it comes to gaming. You are straight up an awesome guy man!!!
Give it another try.... This video is from 2012, and diablo is a completely different game today!
This. I bought expansion recently and I'm completely addicted to it now more than Overwatch tbh.
Nice! Finish the campaign so you can start adventure mode!
Marcos C Currently playing Nephalem Rift and its a fun chaos.
I like Diablo for the Story
James Blooey I watch porn for the stories.
+Menno Schotten Same
+kayden heath how is that even funny? Muppet
Lord Langford
I agree that the Warcraft RTSes were better, but I mentioned old WoW because it was better than the more recent expansions.
Most of the people playing it weren't having fun, you're just one of the few who was able to realize that and stop.
Did you expect to be playing D3 for the rest of your life? It's just a game dude. Don't make it sound like such a major life decision. lol.
+StandingNomad when it comes to Blizzard, bitching about their games is always a major super important world-breaking event man
For real, and he seems to believe that we're deeply concerned...and therefor must be discussing (amonget ourselves) all the reasons why ^WE* think he stopped playing D3... what a catturd.
😁😁😁😁
The reason why d3 was badly developed is because they thought the same... "why trying? it's just a game"
+Skanda Baby dude is only putting "content" on his channel, so he can get more traffic, get more gold from youtube ads.
I played Diablo 3 and then discovered Minecraft and then stopped playing Diablo, then I started playing LOL, and stopped playing Minecraft as well.
You play League, mah nigga
Sean MacDonald I'm white skined.
Ilyas Khan Sry, but I still prefer LOL.
lol sucks balls hahaha
Cat Caywood Why is it the most played game then???
Diablo 2 was the best game
+shadym80 diablo 2 is the best game
+shadym80 i like D1 better because of the books too loot, it was awesome too finally find the book of fireball or like omg hellfire exp added the book of apocalypse Lol
+shadym80 your opinion :)
Also d1 was more original rpg like, now days you got idk what kind of rpgs, there used too be a secret or still is a secret wall in the cathedral in d2 that took you to the crypts on d2.
+shadym80 yes
9 years later, season 26....
The thing is, in diablo 2 we were grinding gear for PVP,
RIP the best game ever...
D2 is not dead! I've been actively playing it for the last 2 years, trying out various builds and specs. It will never die as log as there are gamers in this world:)
P.S. If you were talking about D3 the same conclusion applies, now that they've gotten rid of the RMAH.
It will die once b.net finaly gives out :P its been slowly getting smaller and smaller, Im surprised it has lasted as long as it has tbh.
RIP LLD!
Sam j W
reddit.com/r/slashdiablo is going strong
is it? looks to me like no one has posted in 2 years..... If I played d2 I would see if that server was active, but I cant imagine it being much better than the numbers from b.net, which are so low, its kind of sad:
[03:14:55 PM] There are currently 402 users playing 227 games of Diablo II, and 28020 users playing 12648 games on Battle.net.
I got bored of Diablo 3 and then started playing Torchlight 2, it's a great game. Way better than D3.
Thinking of getting torchlight 2 a lot of people have said it is way better than Diablo 3
supreme leader luke ive played both and can say I enjoy both games just as much. Each has its own flavor and so fun for different reasons
haha #hipster
Tipsa Zagreb hue hue hue hue hue
d2 is shit too HAVE NOT REPLAY VALUE BECAUSE COMPETENCE SKILL IS SHIT AND BLOCKED TO LEVEL 20 d2 map UGLY ONLY GRASS NO RELIEF XD
I agree with this guy on the video 100%. I feel the same way.
Have you tried Torchlight 2?
Check out the update, the new patch is in, heard players are very happy about the major changes, upload the update patch, and you may change your mind.
The real money Auction House is like playing with cheats-- it takes the point out of the gme
Enlighten me, just what HAS the AH done that hurt D3 all that much, except for PvPers who whine and bitch about "pay to win"
Before you say that (if you are), PvPers have never impressed me in the least, and have done more harm to the gaming community as a whole than any in game implementation ever could.
Even after the auction house was closed and RoS I still don't enjoy this game as much as D2. I simply just don't like the game or the skill system.
Do you need 9:20 minutes to say "because it's fucking boring"?
thanks for saving my 9:20 minutes of my life.
Ty
yes, you have no idea how much of a let down this game was. no pvp. no 8 man raids. and it has the worst matchmatching in the world.
Ty for saving my time too.
@chocolate burger, I'm glad I saved the little time you have left.
i wish they would implement legit pvp system.. only reason why people grind for better gear is to beat other players but ladder rank.. idk it doesnt motivate me to be in higher ladder system
Lets Face it Guys Diablo 3 can never beat Diablo 2
diablo 2 has a lot more things than D3 and is far better and more fun than d3
lmao d2 LOD was great... either way Diablo is a great game so
Asgardians3t no, d2 is garbage and old d3 (at this point) is far superior, by all ways of the word
Asgardians3t more people on d3 now - and a far better game - more to do in d3, no need to "mule" gear like in d2, d2 is so bugged, old, its a dead horse, dated graphics, a need to mule shit, character pops, bugged out to the high heavens, only thing good about d2 is the soundtrack at this point, PVP was fun but that was about it more progression in d3, more mechanics, better visuals, more systems in place, d3 has improved again and again and again - to each their own I spent years on d2 as well but its dead now, I mean you need health pots, fill up an entire inventory, and the old crappy text based friends list ? no thanks, logging into battle.net application desktop app is much easier and more streamlined nowadays im sorry I cant agree d2 was great for its time, but d3 you dont have to mule gear, no worries about bugged ass characters or people using all these diff hacks, its easier to log in, play game, and get going - clans, achievement system, greater rift system, paragon system, more acts to come, more areas to explore, and the new loot 2.0 system makes gearing up and getting going and trying different builds out (and resetting your passive skills) MUCH easier, the game is much more streamlined and easier to jump into whether your casual or more dedicated...i think d3 is a superior title at this point.
the only hack pple were using is Map hack and bot hack which were totally acceptible although in some servers today they r both banned either way i never used a bot hack anyway i never could get any cool gear on battle net since i didnt play long enough on it
Asgardians3t very true the only thing that diablo 3 makes it better is that because of its graphics but i still fear the ambiance of diablo 2 its much darker than 3
I appreciate your opinion
It just feels tedious and... pointless! >_>
Even though torment is meant to increase legendary drop rates, they still feel alot more rare than the legendaries that drop in normal mode... that's just freaking silly, tbvh.
If you wanna make a change... make it feel like an actual change goddammit! >:C
EDIT: I'm glad they removed the action house though, i never understood why blizzard added it to begin with, it's the ONE thing, i absolutely, could not understand the point of, when diablo 3 was released.
The grind continues tomorrow.
hshingebis hardcore ain't easy, which is why I used range as an advantage, and took Demon Hunter.
And as for the guidebook... have you checked the atrocious number of walkthroughs online?
i love diablo 3. but i wish there was PVP
That unbalanced mess where people die from 1 hit? You call this PvP? Dont lie
How do you access pvp?
In New Tristram talk to Nek the Brawler and click on Enter the Training Grounds.
Nek the Brawler is located just below where all your followers are. Big Fat guy with no shirt on.
Ah sick, gotta get some friends and experiment at low level :P Thanks
Brawling is PVP. No one does it because it isn't fun.
Have you played diablo 3 since reaper of soul's came out a lot has changed since then
No offence, but I was only reading the comments the whole time and completely ignored the entire video.
diablo 1 the best and only diablo game
U mean Diablo 2 the best ev.... oh, wait
Diablo 2 sucks compared to Diablo 1
Himmelstuerzer exactly mu opinion
diablo 1 has that wonderful dark and horror atmosphere,so deep and scary
diablo 1 amazing experience
diablo 3 is total shit, and diablo 2 not near diablo 1
Alex Silver
it might had that dark and horror atmosphere you're talking about back then, in 1996, 20 year ago. Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling that D1 is a bad game, it's a wonderfull game, i've personally spent few hundred hours playing this game, but nowadays i'd rather play something newer, D2 for example... or Path of Exile, or Grim
Dawn. D1 is not the same for me, seems too limited and narow after experiencing many and many other ARPGs
+Alex Silver I wonder if you nostalgic fanboys ever play the new games. Sure nostalgia is a strong feeling but you need to open your eyes.
Empty cans rattle the loudest
Is that an insult or am I just not getting your point?
Thanks for insulting, Toxicmanish. Go get a life. =)
This is why I got back into it when it came out on the console. There isn't a RMAH for me to immigrate to eventually. I hope it stays that way.
Exactly the reason why I stopped playing it
Make a video on "Why I went back to Diablo 2".
Path of Exile is the true spiritual successor to Diablo 2.
really true
Couldn't agree more!
Path of exile 2 is coming out.
@@strangerdanger5998 We have lots of great choices:
* _Diablo 3_ is the **drinking** man's game
* _Path of Exile_ is the **linking** man's game
* _Grim Dawn_ is the **thinking** man's game
Hell, even Torchlight 2 and Titan Quest.
Do u play now that it has changed to eternal collection
Jessy Wallace Hmmm Sounds like WoW if you ask me Blizz just loves to fuck up their games.
Torchlight II saved us all :3
While I disagree with the idea of having to be online in order to play the game, my playtime has always been focused on multiplayer, online play, anyhow.
+Oliver Draathelvete
I disagree about the soundtrack.
+BikouTenma When it first came out it was far from easy an d now there is greater rift pushes
+BikouTenma By "finish" the game, do you mean "complete" 100%? All trophies and items, and specially the "challenges". Yeah, m8. Good fucking luck finding the Cow and Goblin levels.
*****
I complete all the difficulties, found the best gear i could, etc. And yeah, I found the cow level. Pretty easy, I didnt play when the goblin level was released.
To be honest though, who considers a game "beat" when the trophies are all unlocked? You beat a game when the credits roll.
Im still playing diablo II bitcheez lol. We're 20 people in the server, but team duelz are much more fun
I've started to upload hardcore diablo II I have the lord of chaos expansion pack
collectors edition
Europe is still full :D
duelling pixels...how exciting
I'm currently working on a whirlwind barb I have 2 doomslayer swords and that's it XP even with like 300-400% magic item find bonus I'm still getting super shitty items
For me it was the constant grind of the same old content. I hated it. Then the huge slap in the face of this expansion adding only one level of content and again all you have is that grind for gear. No thanks, Path of Exile is a much better game and it's free.
Clearly you never played Diablo II.
No idea what you have been playing.
Minimovex what do you mean? is he lying? i played d3 too at launch and it was the exact same levels and bosses except they got harder but the levels/mobs/bosses were the exact same. and you had to play the same shit over and over again just harder mobs in order to get better gear.
i got to disagree with u path of the exile is a more or less like diablo except that the skill tree is over complicated and the controls are a lot less than fluid
overall id give POE a 7 on a 1-10 scale and thats only because the graphics are decent
JoeRucas
PoE skill tree overcomplicated.
Can i just mention how boring Diablo 3 bosses are? The only ones who were kinda different were Belial and Maltahel.
Can I just mention how boring Diablo 2 bosses are? They literally don't do anything. Diablo shoots fire forward. Side Step it. That's it. Bael makes clones. Ignore them and kill him. That's it.
if the idea of the game is about finding gear, why buy it on auction?
defeats the objective of your game
blizzard comepletly got rid of the auction house because of this
as of the time you wrote this they will be getting rid of it...its still there
yeah i know, i'm talking in the future because i already considered it was gone.
The game killer was that you can't build your caracter completely by yourself, where YOU choose the stats and YOU choose which abilities you want to level up and YOU choose which abilities should be strong, like skill trees give a sence of perpose...with diablo III it's just, everything is handed to you on a silver plate
You lost me when you stated you thought Blizzard did a good job with Diablo 3. Are you serious? In what area?!
d3 sucks cuz it has no replay value like d2(
I did it too and I was about to ask blizzard for a refund just because doubt hitted me badly. Than I tried the beta and I still have hope. Loot 2.0 could be its salvation + the ah closing.
what replay value....grinding the same content a million times for gear? Sounds much the same to me...
thats cuz your dumb?
fuk you
Gotta love someone who insults someone's intelligence while at the same time uses 'cuz' and the improper use of you're... good job moron.
Diablo 2 is the better game. They should just remaster it.
Teufel_Morder slavs from ths past move on
You got your wish
@@houseofm9700 indeed. It's gonna be raw.
hey guys! What I've heard is that they are on the release of the new act will take away auction house and make it more about finding the right gear in the game instead! Just wanted to let you know!
Why I stopped playing Diablo 3 => it sucked.
Yeah, I got bored of it after I hit level 48... I liked D2 so much because I could build the character that I wanted.
yep try path of exile its really better
in this time i have stop to play the both im imore play a war strategy in reel time .the game is called R.u.s.e.i have alot fun with this game .
and in path of exile im wizard
i use this build :
5l-6s/Arc+faster casting+chance to critical strike+damage multiplier+life leech(because i use ghost reaver in my tree) and my 6thd socket not linked i use elemental weakness.
4l/cold snap+cold damage+elemental poliferation+area effect (50%chance to freeze)
4l/ligning trap+added lighning damage+multitrap+added chaos damage
3l/molten shell+cast when damage taken+ cold snap
3l/reduced mana+discipline+clarity
4l/storm call+spell totem+concentrated effect+added lighning damage
im lighning build(shock duration shock chance)
that work good:)
Theveemoth I managed 11 hours of PoE already. It is quite good for a free to play.
Myles Prower Yeah i thought Diablo 2 was way better, and way more fun.
Diablo 3 is so much better now! It was shit at release -- and all involved should be fired.
And still garbage compared to Diablo 2.
+derp derpaderp I know nostalgia is a strong feeling, but do you have reasons for that statement?
I still play D2 and wouldnt touch the world of warcraft garbage that is D3.
lol
too bad it's not though
Auction house ruined the game right from the start, the game is great and could be good, if the auction house was gone and gear progression was fixed.
I'm just wondering, because I never played the PC version and never played the other versions and started on D3 the last year or so, I still don't really understand the difference between the PC and ps3 version do you know what the difference between them?
matthew ly
its the same game...just one requires a keyboard and mouse and the other a controller
How's your view on the patch 2.0.1, Force? I found i'm enjoying myself again with the game. When i quit, i didn't even hit level 60 and now i'm having fun gearing up my characters w/o using the shitty online auction house, the reason i quit the game at first place.
Path of Exile !
+Tomasz Sz same here
+Tomasz Sz no way man cas to me first of all POE dosnt have as good graphics as D3 and u level up so slowly. like the first quest u get has u go through A TON of zombies just to get to the quest location and ur nowhere near leveling up while in D3 u would gain like 5 levels in the first 30 mins of the game. in POE u gain 1 level in the first 30 mins not to mention its hard as hell compared to D3 ( at least the first quest is )
+Matthew Smith no way man cas to me first of all POE dosnt have as good graphics as D3 and u level up so slowly. like the first quest u get has u go through A TON of zombies just to get to the quest location and ur nowhere near leveling up while in D3 u would gain like 5 levels in the first 30 mins of the game. in POE u gain 1 level in the first 30 mins not to mention its hard as hell compared to D3 ( at least the first quest is )

blake whitlow you can easily gain 10 levels in 30 minutes in path of exile.. you are very bias considering the fact you play the game for 30 minutes and claim it is shit because you cant play it right, research about a game before playing it.
D3 has sucked from day 1. Its just an overall FAIL. Should be clear to all.
Aha nah it's way better now
Dunno what u guys think now but i love playing this game now.
Uh oh, you went against the hive mind! Prepare for death by hate comments!
there's always HoN :)
Now that the AH is no longer a part of the game and loot has become easier to obtain (not nearly as grindy), will you give it another go?
mf ing is 1000x better in diablo 2 diablo 3 dose not compare
Path of exile > Diablo 3
Every game ever made > PoE
Diablo 2 > PoE > Diablo 3
Darude > Sandstorm
opinion > fact
opinion = fact
Really hope that you will love playing Diablo 3 again.
i fucking love diablo 3
***** Reaper of Souls, the expansion pack for Diablo III coming in March... apparently... unless it gets pushed back a few thousand times.
D3 is just boring and not fun
kinda like your profile pic, you sure you're not Blizzard undercover?
+Tommyboy907 W
yes, its my opinion, I prefer D2
It's gay
Calm down hot topic
Opinions.
There are like assholes, we all have one. Although there is no need to shove it in people's faces.
Diablo 3 is Gayyyyyyyyyyyyyy Made for kiddos. If Y'all weren't so young you would understand.
Is that all you can say? I guess there is not helping such a lost soul.
Lol, Diablo 3 is Gay because None of the original People that Made Diablo Had any part in D3. They had there own agenda for the new age kiddos. they screwed up. Get on Diablo 2 & you will see.
Boo Hooo boo fucking hoo hoo..
cow level?
sdasds sadsd The award was given to them by a random review site. GOTY awards are a dime a dozen, bro.
Toxicmanish Because most review sites pretty much sell them to AAA budget games that don't deserve them.
You're not on fire yet. Nailed it !!
PoE got GOTY from some of the several game sites, but Diablo 3 got nothing from any site.
Releases D3, falls short on every promise, community cries foul.
Announced D3 RoS, community gets super excited.
Anyone buying RoS is full on crazy.
I like Diablo, but i don't grind out for gear. I'm getting a Wizard and Monk to lvl 60 then i'll have all 5 characters at 60. Then I'm done until they introduce new people to use.
Blizzard is no more making games for customers. They are making for their own profits.
Games for customers=higher profits.
cry much
who the Hell cares!?!?
his subscribers asking why he quit why are you here if you dont care!?!?
Your explanation is exactly why I stopped playing, it was all about the Action House and spending real money for items to get you further. There was no point beyond that to keep playing.
I will play for a friend and let you know. Thanks again.
Force now that the auction house is shutting down and reaper of souls is coming out would you consider to play again?
i got a diablo reaper of souls AD for this video. would you not recommend this game for a player who has never tried a diablo game? or was it great and you just got burned out from playing it so much and grinding?
I have played Diablo 1 & 2 (2 currently) since they first came out and always gone back to them. But Diablo 3? I played and enjoyed for a few weeks and got bored at a couple of months. Never went back to it
Why would any one care or make assumptions on why someone stopped playing Diablo??
This is why I choose to watch your videos... you play games you like! and its always fun to watch your content knowing this.
My only question is will you do any videos of the Reaper of Souls? I hope so, but if not, it was great to watch and enjoy your videos
I just bought this game today its currently downloading I just want to know is this game worth it? was it worth my money before the download finish
6 years later. Bought the battlechest and im hooked! Best hack and slash ever! So well done.
Is D2LOD still played much on public servers? I'm thinking of getting back into it.
+Pratik Hazari Yep, LOTS of us still on there for PvP. D2 classic even has a few people playing but it's a very low population, like barely double digits. But it's all still there!
+Pratik Hazari EnigWindy FTW , even vs trappers
+Pratik Hazari A lot of botters though
pssst, median xl.
Nope. I limited myself to 4 hours a day.
I'm going to start a new character and take my time with it, instead of rushing my way to 70. Maybe try a different class. Crusader's getting boring.
***** It's not long. *Maybe you shouldn't assume that others can't limit themselves*.
***** maybe that's because u can't? max level is 60 :P
I left the game 3-4 months in after realizing the rmah was mandatory for anyone who didn't have to time and willpower to grind 10 hours-a-day. Its been a year and half since this vid and I just subed to this channel. RoS is getting me excited again so I'll watch this channel going into the expac.
Force strategy, I know its been a while since you've probally played this, but will you be playing the dlc when it comes out for Diablo 3 ?
I just tried Diablo 3 and it seemed well done, but it just felt like I was just clicking on enemies to kill them and there was no challenge or compelling story or anything. Very nice atmosphere and quality control though.
I felt exactly the same with WoW, Diablo3, LOTR and loads of other games. You set yourself a goal to get to max level, get certain gear and then it's like.... what to do now and where did all that time go? Thats why I stopped playing mmo games.
