As a fellow mobile mechanic based in Surrey, I've experienced substances and scattered cash around the vehicles that one particular chap had. I ended up declining working on his cars due to the legal risks. I'm a married dad and simply walked away. Jobs and people like that just aren't worth it.
You Guy's always keep it light hearted and never seem stressed, (although I'm sure you have those moments). Loved the story of finding a 'stash' in a car you bought.. Hilarious ! Great work and very entertaining ..
That's good advice you gave today when I'm fixing cars for family or friends and if it's a job im unsure on i have a look on u tube as the newer cars are more complicated to do any work on i gave up on being a mechanical in early 2000 because of technology and just carryed more on welding and fabrication as a job keep up the good work guys 👍
Not sure if it has been mention but.. why not buying a marquee for those rainy days, 98% being UK. Just open it above the car and let it rain! Great work!!
Recently subbed. I’ve come across your vids a lot lately and they’re very entertaining but also very informative. Now one of my go to content creators to watch 👌
19:12 - A piece of advice lads with some back story: I was working a side job where I'd do breakdown recovery and minor mechanical repairs; servicable parts. I had a call to go to fix a flat tyre, so pretty simple stuff. I got to the car and the driver was extremely adamant that I didn't get inside; wouldn't let me move the car to a safer spot. The driver was high and the car stunk of the 'wacky bakky'. After messing around for a good 40mins we'd clearly attracted some attention and the Police turned up! Now this caused myself some right trouble, as the Police thought I was involved in trying to resolve the issue before getting caught. (I was working out of a XC70 + iforwilliams trailer. Not a sign wrote van). The moral of the story is this: If you suspect anything illicit, just inform the police. The auction car could have had a 'drug marker' on the car, which will cause you grief if you're driving it.
@user-mr9jw2he8m I have been looking for someone for 25 years and still nothing. Always ripped off with sub par work, cheap nasty consumables etc. Even for a regular service they never specify the brands of parts used, oil type and brand etc. It's just a generic overpriced invoice using the cheapest motor factor parts. I used to do a basic service and change pads/discs myself 25 years ago when I was younger and had a driveway and tools. I cannot do this now as it's not practical and my health is bad.
@themarvelousvlog If I needed a clutch or cambelt, I would consider driving to your location if the car was driveable to get the work done as you are clearly customer focused and use only good replacement parts.

I posted it back to him anyway, and later got a call from his Wife explaining his dementia diagnoses, and how he'd been hiding cash all over the house.
