OMG IT'S SO COLD!! 🤣 But I will say, it's so worth the trip. And you can always hide indoors at the market in the train station!! Thank you so much for watching our video & have an amazing trip!!!:)
I love Zurich , so beautiful there. You also had snow I see, it got a lot colder here in Austria with lots of snow. We actually broke the record last week, minus 21 in Tyrol. I'm going back to Florida 🤪! Just kidding, staying here. Y'all have a Merry Christmas, thanks again for all your hard work, you guys are the best!
Oh there was SO much snow in Zurich than we're used to. Hannah's from Michigan so she's grown up with it, but Nashville, TN & Huntsville, AL don't normally get much. However it's been BITTERLY cold this week so we might need to start getting more acquainted with the idea of real winter weather LOL. Thank you so much for following along and being so supportive of us Eddy❤️
Hi! So we were there December 11th through the 15th. We didn't think it'd be snowing either, but when we arrived there was snow basically everywhere! It definitely took us by surprise LOL! Thank you so much for watching & have a great trip!!!!
It definitely can snow in December!!! Although I will say, it added such a magical feel to the city/markets. We thought it was SO cool!! Have a great trip & thank you so much for watching!!:)
Hi! So we didn't. As US citizens, you're allowed visa-free travel within the Schengen Area (basically every country in Europe with the exception of the UK/Ireland & some Balkan countries). You can stay for 90 days within a 180-day period, so as long as your passport doesn't expire within 6 months of your trip then you'll be good to go!
@@ProbablyLost OMG thank you !!!! I was so worried because we are US citizens and we are going in just a few days and I got confused with too much information that I read these last days! God bless you!
@@georginafinalen9176 You're totally welcome!! There's so much info out there & it can definitely get confusing at times. You'll be totally fine as long as you have your passport. Have an amazing trip Georgina!!!:)
Strange, I went to many of the same markets as you, some even in 2022 and most had some stalls that accepted credit card. Did you actually ask? I find most people pay in cash but if you ask, some accept credit card. You're right, it's dangerous in switzerland because it's so much more expensive there. They kind of have to accept credit card otherwise you'd have to carry alot of cash. It's funny, over there, that brats and buns seem to rarely fit and are completely different shapes.
I think mostly in the smaller cities we visited they only accepted cash. In Munich or Berlin, there were some stands that accepted card. It seems starting 2023 most stalls accepted card and cash!
@@ProbablyLost Maybe that's it and I'm mixing up years, I only recently started catching up with some of your older videos. I just remember a few times where I was left with extra cash because I thought places didn't accept CC. Though in Switzerland, it was the opposite. I spent my cash super fast in the xmas market and had to get more. Stuff is so much more expensive there vs the neighboring countries.
Have yourself a very merry Christmas xxx
Merry Christmas!!
This was amazing. My son watched it with me and he was giggling and smiling. He must have liked it too! I hope y'all have a merry Christmas!!
That is so sweet! Thanks for watching Eric and I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! 🎄
