Hahah! This is the first video i've ever seen from you. Came from the blog about scroll effects. It's early in the morning, working on a webshop that needed scroll effects to make the footer appear as a paralax. But man oh man, this video cracked me up! Thank you so much for the clear explanation and amazing character. Stay awesome! Will follow you :)

Do these animations slow down the page loading time ?

I havn't done any tests on that, but it's a great question. I know with the latest Divi performance update they mentioned that now that code is separate, so I think prior to 4.10 it would have slowed things down a bit.

Hi! I have a question regarding scroll effects. Is there a reason why the scroll effects do not work on some pages? For example my home page. I have Two infinite Animated pictures on this page (Animated with css (@keyframes... etc.).
But when I want to make a scroll effect on this pictures it is not working. No Scrolleffect is working on this page...

Hey thank you very much for the video. Im trying to do the scroll effect on a background image of a section, but it kinda doesn't do anything. Do you maybe know if i have to override this somehow? Im kinda stuck on that one. Thanks!

Hi Bob, I don't think you can do this to the background of sections. If you can, I don't know how.

Well explained. But you are right, it can get very complicated very fast. Have to use it very judiciously.

1st Video - Awesome content! I'd love to chat. I own an ethical agency and rarely find other 'web agencies' that come of to me as the same! I solved my issues on mobile using the new scroll feature by setting overflow to hidden on the section and row. I think they usually look pretty slick on mobile too but noticed the side to side scroll BS which obviously was not going to fly... We might be growing faster than our own good at the moment. I'd love to see if we could have you guys perform some aspects of our service for our clients. This isn't my first business and I don't know how many 'employees' I really want to have as this one grows. I'd rather form strategic partnerships. Best regards - Ryan

Hi Mathieu, that sounds like something to ask Elegant Themes, their support can help. As far as mobile and tablet, like I said in the video, I don't know, doesn't make sense to me.
