I haven't tried that combo, but any comment I make here is heavily biased as it's my go to drive pedal for PJ and a bunch of others, so feel free to ignore haha. Stone and mike used Marshall jcm 800s and fender twins i think. I think stone used a tube screamer or a maxon sonic distortion. That pedals seems very cool and you are the best on the internet at playing grunge
My 1991 came in today and I love it. Thank you for your videos and clear lessons. Can you tell me about the les Paul and pickups? It sounds so good. Thanks
That's great David! It's not a real LP, it's a Japanese made Edwards Jimmy Page model I picked up second hand at an auction. It's great for rhythm stuff, but it has (i think!) a Bareknuckle mule in the bridge. Thinking I may do a vid on upgrading pickups from stock ones at some point....

I just had to join the waiting for this. It's exactly what I've looking for. AIC tone is the other I'd like a magic box for but Jerry's rig makes me think it's impossible without spending the £££
The closest single pedal I've ever found for Dirt-era AIC is the Majik Box Body Blow. A compressor into that pedal on the mod setting with the body switch engaged into a Marshall gets it pretty close in a live mix.

Now finally the only guitar pedal you ever need is here! 🎸😁
🤘😀
Stone and mike used Marshall jcm 800s and fender twins i think. I think stone used a tube screamer or a maxon sonic distortion. That pedals seems very cool and you are the best on the internet at playing grunge
thanks Dano!
omg this is everything i need in a pedal!!
Sounds awesome . Just added my name to the build cue !!!
Thanks Brian and that’s awesome!
Ordered mine today, sounds axe!
Awesome mate enjoy! Use mine for pretty much everything haha 🤘😊
@@LetsPlayAll Thank You, that's a great idea.
I'm buying one, I love playing Ten to destress
Nice one Steve!
Omg I need this pedal!!!!!!!!!
*Update: Since my initial post Andy at Funny Little Boxes found my original email in spam and emailed me in less than an hour of posting this and resolved the issue. This is the kind of customer service that makes for a great experience. Appreciate the quick response from this channel and Funny Little Boxes and anyone reading this to rest assured that Andy has your back with any purchase.
Bought this pedal recently (gold paint) and the the switch doesn’t work correctly and I have emailed FLB several times with no response. I would have to advise based on the lack of any customer service I would strongly avoid purchasing from FLB. I now have a funny little paper weight.
@@justaguy259 sorry to hear that mate! I’ll pass this on to Andy as maybe it got stuck in spam or something? Presuming you emailed andy@funnylittleboxes.co.uk?
@@LetsPlayAll Yes, that is email address I used. I would hope he just hasn’t seen the emails. I Appreciate the reply.
@@LetsPlayAll if you can pass on the info my order# was 4340. Thanks again!
@@justaguy259 no worries, he’s having a look now for you 🤘
@@justaguy259 he’s found it! Was in the spam folder 😫 You should have an email from him now and he’ll get you sorted out! Apologies for that mate, Andy was very apologetic, feel free to post here if you don’t see his response tho!
Take my money! Fricking Awesome!
🤘😀🤘
great video and great pedal! 91 best era of guitar sounds and bands!
you said your using Marshal in a box amp, it would be nice to see how you set up the amp. it has a big influence on the sound as well
forgot to add, that nirvana in never mind used "BOSS DS-1" distortion and and a "BIG MUFF" pedal , which sounds a bit different than your demoed pedal....
Thanks! i said i used a marshall in a box type pedal, not amp :-) my amp is the Victory V40 (clean single channel amp just set on the edge of breakup. I've played it through my solid state Boss Katana too and sounds great through that too
yup agreed, and a rat put straight into the desk for fuzz, but this was just to show you can get close with this to other sounds too :-)
I just had to join the waiting for this. It's exactly what I've looking for. AIC tone is the other I'd like a magic box for but Jerry's rig makes me think it's impossible without spending the £££
Nice one Chris. As for AIC just leave that with me 😉😂🤘
@@LetsPlayAll ohhh don't get an old man excited now! 😃👍
@@Always_in_C_standard 😀🤘
mesa boogie dual rectifier
The closest single pedal I've ever found for Dirt-era AIC is the Majik Box Body Blow. A compressor into that pedal on the mod setting with the body switch engaged into a Marshall gets it pretty close in a live mix.
Early pearl jam had some amazing riffs
wow that pedal is awesome
