Robert E. Fuller: "Kingfishers have always been a great passion of mine."
So glad he has such a passion for these creatures and to give us such an intimate look at these beautiful birds.
Right! Love the video & his dedication 😍
I totally agree with this. However, his name is Robert E Fuller, according to the endcard
Glad you enjoyed
@@RobertEFuller I did. Thanks. It was fascinating to watch the kingfishers in the video. Plan to watch some more videos and read more about these birds.
That's so cool, very interesting, so many beautiful birds
💗love it!!!
I had no idea Mom kingfisher left the nest to lay more eggs in another nest. That is an AWESOME dad kingfisher to take over. Loved the video. Thank you.
Worst mom ever
@Melissa Warfield A Mother Robin built her nest in the corner of my windowsill, so I was able to watch and take photos of the whole process. I couldn't believe how fast they go from egg to hatchling (12 days) then hatchling to fledgling (10 to12 days). She pretty much does the same thing. After they fledge, she and the Dad continue feeding them for a week or so, while they Master flying, but the Mom leaves after 4 or 5 days to start building a new nest for the next brood.

This dude wanted to see inside a nest with baby kingfishers and he built entire shed just to see them?
That is dedication.

sorry i didnt know you had such a profound connection to mother nature, my deepest apologies oh great one, have mercy-
Probably one of the prettiest birds we have here in the UK.
I used to go fishing with my dad (RIP) and occasionally we'd be lucky enough to see these birds on the riverbank. Usually though you'd only see a flash of blue as they whizzed by, very happy memories.
Aww how cute I’m so glad people have the time to do this

@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 i don't think animals have something like the notion of privacy
This guy deserves some serious respect for doing that even though he didn’t have to.
Thank you!
They look like cute little aliens. Lol😍

BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for sharing Mr. Fuller.
What beautiful colors.
The way mom and dad share the feeding of the newborn is just as beautiful too.
From this avid bird watcher, I thank you for sharing with us this special video. Birds are truly free and I LOVE that! 🐣🐥🐦🌳🌱🦆🦅🐦🌾🌞✨
I love how these videos are so wholesome. It’s genuinely amazing to watch!
It's not entirely wholesome when you consider any one of the fishes' point of view and their experience of being snatched from the water and perhaps even eaten alive but I agree that kingfishers are lovable, interesting little creatures.
I love how the dad just pokes his head in with the fish like "Anybody hungry?"
Haha right
Kudos to the hard work done...by both kingfisher and humans who filmed it 👍👍
Who likes to have these small cuties not as their pet but as a part of the family?😊❤✌🏼
If we learn lil nuggets of information about nature everyday, we have lived a good life

Kingfishers are one of my favorite birds. Their plumage is gorgeous.
So precious, and thank you so much for this video of this adorable family!! I watch a LOT of bird cams enjoying, learning, and melting through each one, and this is just perfect!! Goes to show how each parent has their duties and does them so well, with their raising of their offspring their entire reason for existing.... Awwwwww, 😊💕

To go to such lengths to see something you love come to be. Amazing.
How amazing is this video !! To see the actual process is mind blowing no matter how many times we see them ! But from the build itself and then the courting, mating , laying, hatching and growing up is the cherry on top ! Great works indeed 👌🏾👍🏾
Oh My God, first time seeing the baby birds growing from that small. Amazing💛 what beautiful birds they are. Thank you 🙏🏻💛
@Chuck the Labrador Hey! I think I’ve seen your comments on Kittisaurus videos before. Do you remember me?

Many yrs ago, I spotted a majestic Kingfisher perched on a branch in the woods behind my home. (SW Ohio USA) Tho I've not spotted one since, he is the reason I discovered my love for birdwatching. For this, I will always be grateful to my magnificent Kingfisher friend.💕
Birds never seize to amaze me. They’re beautiful in so many ways.

the part where dad eventually stops bringing home the bacon so to speak, is kind of amazing, because the chicks then decide, "I think he's not coming back guys, time to blow this pop stand."

What a great way to get the opportunity to watch these beautiful birds and to see the whole process of breeding. Thank you very much!

This is great!!! What beautiful nature and what a beautiful heart this man has for these birds.
That is so wonderful thank you for sharing!!!
Raising a bird baby is such a rewarding experience! We took in an orphaned seagull and raised him until he flew off to start his life in the wild. We started with pureed capelin, a small schooling fish that spawns in late spring or early summer. The waves turn into a roiling mass of mating fish and locals scoop them by the bucketful. We had a freezer full of them, so we pureed them with a supplement the vet gave us. Using a medicine dropper to start with, we eventually made the cut up fish larger over time until he was taking whole fish. For two years he returned to our back door a couple of times over the summer, like a young adult coming home on college break. An experience I will never forget!
