Great review. Eddie is an extremely positive human being. In your reviews, I think you help each brand show the best version of itself. For the QX80, this seems like it could be a legitimate cross-shop for a Navigator or an Escalade.
Have owned several QX80s and they did a great job, is beautiful. They finally put a premium sound system, massages seats and pano roof. but the motor failed. that small v6 belongs in the QX60, QX55, Q60 and Q50, the QX80 needs a V8 twin Turbo with no less than 600HP before mods. Ford and Toyota both failed putting v6 on full size suvs. To heavy for a V6.
While I really like the vehicle, I am curious to see what the reliability would be also. My wife has had three Infiniti suvs and we never had any serious issues with any of them.
@@hunterolsen1933 i have a built GT-R R35 and yes they do blow. And the R35 doesnt weight what the QX80 weights. This motor is NOT for a heavy suv. It will fail.
I’d like to know how comfortable the seats are. I have a new platinum tundra and the seats are terrible for longer drives. Of course I couldn’t sell the tundra even if I wanted to right now.
Honestly with all the luxury brands out there now, why would anyone pick Infiniti? I'm surprised Infiniti is still around tbh, Nissan has struggled for at least a decade.
@EddieX I agree with that. I just can't imagine they sell enough to be profitable tbh. I do like some of the design elements though, it doesn't look like any other brand really.
@@superchargedsteve3411 well the the qx80 is more reliable than a range rover. Cheaper than an escalade. Bigger than a LX. So theres options for people who have money and want something different.
It looks nice but, eh. It's not going to attract any new customers, despite all the tech. It sure is very bold and out there, but the brand itself gives off a boring feeling, in a sense. Similar to Buick. If it were a little more exciting; faster transmission, more power, less caved-in wheels, a little more aggressive aero (for looks), the rear end is too bulky, and the tail light is too much, the truck overall looks very bulky and heavy, and the transmission making it feel heavy, laggy, slow. It's just a mix of things... I suppose this all caters to Infiniti's current customers, with a touch of cooler tech than usual. idk, just an opinion!
SUV of the Year
Moment of silence for the V8
RIP NA V8s
Yea RIP
Thanks Biden for that today's crap
Nissan's V8 was spectacular
Seems they are going turbo in everything including cars.
Great to see Infiniti with a new design!

The interior build quality looks better than most of the GM vehicles I’ve tested driven lately. Leather looks of good quality.
Garbage Manufacturing

Agreed. V6 turbo will last 60k miles.
Buddy it gained 50 hp. Do gtrs break down? No my guy this is plenty of power and reliability

V6 Twin Turbo and I bought it and this thing is amazing 🫶

Have you driven the new LX600? I feel like that’s the inifinti’s number one competition, so I’d be interested to hear how they compare.
Not yet. Really want to
Will try to get my hands on one!
Eddie can talk fast. Give you that
🫣 it’s good and bad lol. I’ve always struggled to slow down my speaking pace haha.
Glad these have the air suspension. It looks much better lowered.

I spent probably 4-5 hours driving it in a day and was pretty comfy!
How would you compare the QX80 Autograph to the Grand Wagoneer Series 3?
The second row seat forward movement on the X7 and Benz are SO SLOW. This is much faster.
Does it have auto hold for stopping in traffic lights ?
I want to like this, thats why i just signed up for V8 anonymous class. Am addicted to V8.
I think I’d fail that class too
Looks good
It does!
Any idea if the Armada is gonna get the same treatment? Infiniti QX80 is outside the current budget.
But I might be able to swing an Armada.
I’m sure it’ll get a similar overhaul. Shared platform. It’ll just be more mainstream less luxury vs the QX80!
I wonder if this’ll be the new platform for the Titan or if they’re really killing the Titan as rumoured?
Is it an Escalade beater?
I’d say it’s an Escalade challenger. I want to see what the lower trims are like too
@@labigq can be an Escalade beater because Escalade has built its legacy and infinity was in the verge of collapse 😅
I think it looks Amazing!
It’s a great refresh!
Where is the new Nissan Amarda/Patrol?
It's very desirable. I like it
NICE‼️
I predict high sales
Powered by GTR!!!!!
Bmw should learn from this how split headlights should be designed.
🎉👍💖👍🎉Thank you🎉
nice!
Hey slab sides and low Tech ;-( Plus V6 that is average. No Cadillac Escalade with V8 and much Tech inside and features. No X6M ! ;-( Skip 80K+
Nice
Do 0 to 100
Yea test drove it
It didn’t sound right…
Like. The exhaust?

So to just give up? It is a nice SUV lol
@raymond4307 it is nice. But for $100k there are a ton of options with more brand prestige.
It’s always good for consumers to have options.

Definitely no benchmark. Interior looks cheap and oddly put together. Also the front is hideous and back is the worst styling I’ve seen yet 🤷♂️

You are not 6'3" fam 😂
This thing is hideous 🤢
Rubbish in my opinion
