Sorry I’m late with the review again! The good news is Steven & I are filming at SEMA Las Vegas and we have some great things coming! Please stay tuned!
Nissan is back along with Infiniti. They are beginning to understand the market. Coming back with 9 speed and 8 speed auto's. Dropping CVT's now. it is about time!!!
It’s an amazing car that took to long to release. More and more people are valuing technology as a new form of luxury, I’ve personally know 5 people who owned these large Infiniti SUV’s that now own model X
I was not happy with the cargo area with 3 rd row going down with seat belt straps still attached, so how do you work around that should I wantbto put a 100 in " TV screen in ?
Yes, it is a perfect size truck with great amount of luxury and technologies as well. I would love to lease and see how Infiniti has been changed from worse to amazing, as always, thank you very much for the review and all of your excellent videos.
Nice review. The car looks nice inside and out. We bought one in October. Had it for a week and discovered more than a few software bugs and gremlins with the car. The dealer has been great. Infiniti, not so much. They’ve not responded as you’d expect a luxury brand would. The customer service agent has showed no sense of understanding or empathy, and worse no bias for action. It’s been very disappointing as the engineering team still can’t get it right. All this to say, much of this is our fault. We know better than to buy the first model year of any car. It’s going to take them some time to get it right.
Infiniti has had so much potential for so long. The Q50 sedan was absolutely gorgeous way back in 2013/14. They kept that design for so long which was fine. But the interiors were always super dated. This qx80 is gorgeous
Could you imagine how much these things are going to cost to fix after the warranty is over when it breaks, and it will break!🤔🤫🙄🤯 Lease for the Win!🤫😜
I had the chance to drive the Nissan version Armada, which was the nicest riding vehicle I've been in. So I'm sure this is nicer. I wanted the Armada, but mpg was 😢 wish they would do a hybrid. So I went with the new Santa Fe calligraphy hybrid. Not as much luxury but half the price. To me, it's a luxury Palisade. But again, twice the price. But I really love the whole package !!!
I hate how Nissan and Infiniti removed the Bose sound system. That was the reason me and my uncle chose the Armada since the Bose is better than the Mark Levinson in the LX570
While I am glad Infiniti and Nissan are still differentiating themselves while Nissan's prices are increasing, Inifniti is starting to fall off on its value for money for sure. People are definitely going to be attracted to Armada for $60,000, and spend $120,000 on something else.
Armada Platinum Reserve is now in the mid 80s. You're comparing entry level trim in the Nissan to the top level trim in the Infiniti. And the QX80 is still the least expensive in its class.
@@chiemekaa Thanks for the info. It should be $80k vs $120k then. I prob don't know enough to comment on the large a$$ SUV category but in general, Infiniti brand has been lackluster in its new products.
@@jenan9016 I agree. What Infiniti needs is a new product onslaught. As in 3 new models within the next year. The rate they're going is still too slow.
Yea...unfortunately people are stuck on those same two boring casket carrying, go-to- church looking Escalades and Yukons. It will only be so many that will dare to be different and drive the much more exciting and new Infiniti QX80.
from kislux bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
Absolutely yes. I thought the lx has ostensibly been discontinued due to its subpar nature and boasting shall we say “Mitsubishi mirage” esque levels of everything
I dont know why they are putting 6 cylinder engines in full size suvs. Ford started the stupid trend and their sales tanked as a result. Same is going to happen to Lexus and infiniti and they deserve it. They should at least offer a naturally aspirated V8 It's not like the TwinTurbo V6 gets better gas mileage and it's definitely not as reliable
Where have you been? Let's see.... MB, BMW, RR all have 6 cylinders in their large entries. Don't drive it like a hooligan and you'll get better efficiency than a NA V8. As far as reliability goes, you need not worry about Nissan. They know how to build turbo 6's, though I wish they had also made the QX80 a mild hybrid to further distinguish it from the Armada.
@@chiemekaa I know that the germans started all this but theres a difference between a german or japanese v6 and an american v6. I agree with you regarding nissan having experience building turbocharged 6cyl engines but they still do not belong in a 7000lb truck or suv. Its just too much weight and the small v6 engines lacks low end grunt. Take a suburban with the 5.3 or 6.2 V8 and drive it like a hooligan all day everyday, just maintain it and it wont have any issues for 200k or more miles. Thats why the police and private transportation drivers utilize them,
@baldegl4422 I get what you are saying and a lot of people feel the same. Here are the facts. The V8 titan engine has 400 hp (silverado 6.2 = 420hp) and 413lb-ft of torque (low end grunt), the new infiniti QX80 has 450hp with 516 lb-ft of torque.
@@ASain-st5qe But that is only because of the turbochargers forcing pressurized air through the engine. It reduces reliability and the engine needs to rev more. I'm almost 100% sure that the naturally aspirated v8 makes more torque at lower rpms. I'm not even mentioning the 3.0 turbodiesel from GM that makes close to 500 ft lb torque and has nearly 800 mile range on a full tank of diesel
Welp, the ones I’ve seen were the fully loaded Autographs. $112k is fully loaded, no other options besides accessories. The competition with the same features is going to be $120k+. And things change, this one could hold its value better.

Was waiting for this review that’s a beast of a Vehicle!! Quality content as always Sir Raiti!
Looks great! Thanks for sharing, Joe.
Man that’s a nice ride ! 😀
The drive doesn’t have that loopy dive of big vehicles when cornering and breaking. This is the best full-size suv out there right now.

Infiniti always brings a futuristic design love the new look, I own a Q50 and JX 35 great looking vehicles, great video Joe!!
Nice update overall. However, we know the QX80 doesn’t hold its value well. Best to lease or wait a couple of years for major discounted price.

The Lexus LX 600 is a luxury SUV with high-end features and excellent performance, but it comes at a higher price.
@@DominionAnako-bb7ry Much as I love Lexus this looks superior to the 600, especially in design and tech.
The QX80 has more features and better performance.
I have a question, brother. Is the quality of the 360 cameras the same as the Nissan armada , or is the Infiniti's quality better and clearer?
Hello, Joe. Can you turn off or mute the pumped-in sound? Thanks!
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍

Awesome review! If we were in the market for a Full Size SUV, this would be on the list. Perhaps not this trim level though - it's super expensive.
