Yay! I am so excited to hear you had an amazing February. My booth did really well too. Total volume sold was more than doubled last year and dollar to dollar a little bit more. I sold a lot more furniture last year, and smalls still seem to reign for me right now. However, I am overall very pleased, and I also just opened another booth in another town (because I'm crazy like that).
Thank you! It was very unexpected, but I'm hoping it continues. I've been pushing it out really hard to the community this month and have a workshop and pop-up scheduled for April!
Thank you for sharing. I think your sales just illustrates how smalls really pay the rent. You sold mostly items for less than $15 it seems, even if those more expensive items drove the average price up. Congratulations on the great sales!
I’m so proud and happy for you, that’s an awesome month! My booth rent is $365 I added another 10x10 this month and had to come out of pocket $88…ouch! I have NEVER in 6 years of doing this made as much money as you have for the month of February- I do have a goal of $1000 sales in 2024. Now that I have 2- 10x10 booths (unfortunately they are separate and fortunately one is on isle 1 and the other on isle 2) I can also add more pieces to attain my goal of reaching $1000 in sales. I’m a numbers person so I appreciate your sales report and I appreciate you allowing us in and sharing this info. May your sales be even greater in March😊
It's always a little scary when you make that jump to more/larger spaces! The $1000 a month is completely doable and if you work your spaces I bet you can get there! It's never fun when you have to pay in, but it's part of the ups and downs of retail sales sometimes. Wishing you the best in March as people get that spring fever!
@@gildedgoodsvintage I only wish for $1000/month but my goal is to have one $1000 month in the year 2024. Thank you for the positive vibes. Now if I have more than 1 thousand dollar month I’m giving you all the praise for putting it into the universe. 🙏🏾❤️😄
I am very blessed because where I have my booth, I do a work trade out. I work one day a week and I get a 13x6 booth space at no charge and I don’t pay commission. Now, I’m just about 6 months in, so my sales are still a little small. My Feb sales was $145. Obviously I could never be able to do this without the deal I have worked out. And our store is only open 4 days a week.
Seems like a great deal to have! I'm sure having those hours covered saves them a lot of money and from having to deal with employees. I'm positive you will get those sales up. It just takes some trial and error and figuring out the market. My first booth space was a disaster. I'm pretty sure I lost money!
German vintage seller on etsy here. February was a very good month for me as well! Not my best ever, but surprisingly good, epecially with it having only 29 days. I sold a lot of easter decoration (had an early bird 10% on that) March though is a little bit lame so far. Ok, but just so. Thanks for all the interesting and entertaining content!
I've been watching for a new video and happy to see you back! You had an awesome month- that's great! Now you need to get that booth filled back up again! We had a really good February too and hoping to keep it up again. So far our month is going good. I will be watching for more videos! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations on your best month yet!! Such a great feeling! I had a good February. I have 2 small booths so my sales are smalls and clothes. I do very well.with clothes.I sold some spring/Easter items also. I hope your March is prosperous as well!
Great month of sales! Does this make you want to focus more on furniture pieces? I'm curious if you add up how many hours you worked on the booth - sourcing, pricing, cleaning, refinishing, accounting, set up, how much $/hour you're making.
I always love working on the furniture pieces. They definitely have ebbs and flows in when they sell though. Weirdly enough I've noticed in January and February the furniture really picks up. Also right before the holiday season when people are trying to get their houses in order for company! I've tried to track hours before and have done a really poor job of it. I forget to track something and then forget how much time it actually took me. I need to find a system that works a bit better for me. I'd love any suggestions!
@@gildedgoodsvintage I'm thinking of either using your phone's stopwatch feature that you start/stop when you're working and counts up, or getting a simple physical timer. Then just writing down the number at the end of the week. Alternatively just estimating once a week, like 5 hours or 20 hours.
Congrats on the great month! February was a good month for me, too. I sold 3x my booth rent. I know some people say you should always sell 3-5x your rent. In January I barely sold 2x my rent, so I was thrilled for February to be higher. Do you use a metric like that to measure how successful you were??
So happy for you Amanda. We also had a record breaking February (we are local, The She Shed Shop at Dept. One Three). I made almost as much in February as I did in December. December is always my best sales month. Like you, we were not expecting much for February. So glad people got out and supported small businesses. Keep up all the good work. Was happy to see your new video, especially with such good news.
Glad to see ya! I did very well in Feb and am doing well (for me) this month. I've been curious to know how you are doing with the adorable beeswax number candles.
Glad to hear you are selling well! We've been a little slower this month, so far, but nothing that I'm concerned about. Sadly I haven't sold a single one yet! 😥 I think I just need to bake a cake and take some really good pictures with them on it!
I’m in Indiana and the mall where I’m at had record sales across the board in February. Feb. was my second month in the booth and was shocked at how much sold. March, unfortunately, has been very slow though 🥴 my best sale in Feb was a merry mushroom canister set. Did you do a video on how you decided which company to use for your sustainability line?
That's great to hear! I love the merry mushroom sets! We are also having a slower start here for March, but not too bad. I know it can also be an iffy month with spring breaks and people vacationing. I haven't done a video about what I care for sustainability items yet, but I'd be happy to make one if y'all are interested in it!
It depends on the size of the space you get, but I've been told that you should always have around 300 pieces in a booth. Since I have a larger space, I shoot for more. As far as price points go, my poat popular price point is around $12 but i have things ranging from $3 and $5 to $300+
Its going good girl keep it up you deserve this bit off suxsess see you next time lots of love from Scotland 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on a great month!
New watcher...Amanda's Mercantile referred me to you.
Awesome job. Never apologize for being busy, we are thrilled that your booth is doing well. Keep up the good work.
I just want to make sure I show up for y'all! I love this community.

Sounds like your sustainability shop has really taken off!! Great sales!❤

Congrats on a great month of sales. I hope that your numbers stay up there consistently.😃
Hey Amanda, I have an antique booth in Upstate New York {Syracuse} and I also had my best sales month in Feb. I hope this will be an ongoing trend.
I love hearing that! I also think it's so interesting that many people are reporting the same things for February.
Congrats 😊
Hello Amanda, You were missed, but you been a very busy young woman. ☺️ I am very Happy for you about your February sales!👍🏼☺️💗
Girl your famous now so you will sell loads of stuff 🙌🏻🙌🏻 keep it up 😁😁😁
Haha! I don't know about famous, but I really appreciate this awesome community.
Love your channel! Would love a video with more specifics about your sustainable products line!
Thanks! I'd love to share about the sustainability products, maybe I can do a video on that soon.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!

I hope the rest of March picks up for you. We've also seen it slow down here as well.

We had a really good February too and hoping to keep it up again. So far our month is going good. I will be watching for more videos! Keep up the good work!
I had my best month ever in my booth in February too! 🎉
Yay congratulations! What types of items do you sell?
Congratulations on a good sales month! Looking forward to more videos.
So glad you have returned.
Great month 🙌! So glad to hear the sustainability products are doing well. Also, glad to see you back on UA-cam.
Thank you! Glad to be back on and should have some more content rolling out soon.

Sadly I haven't sold a single one yet! 😥 I think I just need to bake a cake and take some really good pictures with them on it!
Sales are definitely going up. Take home at one booth was 560. The other was 980.
After rent and 8%
