Miami Dolphins to me under Sparano in 08. The Wildcat may have had a short life, but that was a masterful job of coaching and still affects the league more then a decade later. We got 2 great RB's. We've got a strong zone scheme that keeps opposing defenses at bay just long enough to not figure out whats going on. More importantly, for the first time in years you had a team totally dedicated to forcing a defense to play 11 vs 11 instead of the traditional 11 vs 10. You look at any team that has consistently added RPO's or designed QB runs in the league nowadays, the league has had to adjust to playing that type of football. But back then, the thought of a Chad Pennington going for 5 YPC was absurd. The more you see the game develop in that way today, the more I found respect for what that man did with a team that ultimately had no direction.
@Hector Rodriguez Well, he really didn't have a great tenure in Miami. Hiring Sparano and signing Pennington were good moves (for one year anyway) . But in 2008 and 2009 other than Jake Long, Miami drafted horribly and Parcells bailed early (shock). Miami had the perfect storm in 2008. A last place schedule, Favre signing with the Jets, so they could get Pennington They would have had Josh McCown /Chad Henne as their QB if they didn't get Pennington. Brady went down for the season in the first quarter of the first week. Miami got some lucky bounces in 2008, as their expected W/L of 8-8 shows. Still, as a Miami fan, that season was a lot of fun and unexpected.

I now understand why the 1991 Denver Broncos get referenced in the season 1 finale of South Park.
#2 should’ve ended with 16 wins including that Súper bowl. Ugh. It still hurts
True
I can't believe Dallas flunked it against Green Bay AGAIN in the playoffs this is why I always hated Green Bay
Wade Philip’s a genius
2015 chiefs snubbed, started 1-5 ended 11-5 with another win in the playoffs and they didn’t even need an offseason to make a change
I agree
But also the 2018 Houston Texans got snubbed
From 4-12 in 2017 and 0-3 at the start of 2018 to 12-4 at the end of 2018
What about the 2011 Denver Broncos, they went 3 and 13 in 2010,and then went 8 and 8 in 2011 and beat Pittsburgh and 2011 was Tebow's best year.
RUN THE TABLE 📣📣
Everyone forgot the 2003 panthers
This was interesting.....................
the 2001 bears were probably the most fun team to watch. Dont forget the hail mary to go along with Mike Browns tds
Bears in 2001 and 2018 went from 5-11 to 13-3
Another reverse turn around nobody talks about: 2015-2016 Panthers. The Panthers recorded a 15-1 season and finished with an overall 17-2 season. Then, in 2016 they completely fell apart, going 6-10 and miserably missing the playoffs. This 11 game fallout is one of the worst in NFL history
2021 Bengals are doing the unthinkable so far this season
Last year: 4-11-1 4th in AFC NORTH
This year after 7 weeks: 5-2 1st in AFC North including 2 division wins on the road
That includes a 41-17 win AT BALTIMORE
And you were correct, 4-11-1 to the Super Bowl
@@andrewyanes179 usually those type of comments are premature. 90% they’re wrong. but he’s a steelers fan. deep down he knew
@@andrewyanes179 Cincinnatti is an underdog city for sure
The Bengals reached 3 SB's
All of them by going thr hard way after a losing season the previews year
@@sexbot1996 The Jags will do it in 2022 they got Doug Pederson who has experience
I CALLED IT IT HAPPEND OMG
7:16 Did You Know Back In The Day In 1975, The Baltimore Colts Led By Their HC Ted Marchibroda Who Helped Produce “The Miracle On 33rd St.” (10-4) Had A Little Under The Radar Special Assistant By The Name Of Bill Belichick? The Guy Was Only 23 Years Old When He Got His Very 1st Head Coaching Gig In The NFL! You Know, The HC Who Would Go On To Win 6 Super Bowls With The New England Patriots? 🤩! 45 Years In Coaching! Imagine That!
Glad to see my 49ers up here! Bang Bang Niner Gang!
Haven’t watched the video but Green Bay better be on here
1998 was the last time Atlanta had an amazing defense
i think the 2000 ravens should be on here. they’re fourth year in the league and their first time with a winning record results in their first super bowl win
But they were tough contenders at 8-8 in ‘99. They had the #2 ranked defense in the league; if I’m not mistaken. 2000 was just a finish product from the foundation of ‘99
I’m a die hard born and raised Philly Sports fan, it’s in my blood. And also this isn’t me ripping Montana BUT I’m so sick of seeing “The Catch”!! Bigger, Better and more impressive plays have been made. Give it a rest would you guys?!?!?
@1:30 = wasn't RYAN LEAF supposed at one point to be the next GREAT Chargers QB? Wasn't he a flop?
some honorable mentions
1991 Lions 12-4 after going 6-10 in 1990
2001 49ers 12-4 after going 6-10 in 2000
2000 Eagles 11-5 after going 5-11 in 1999
1970 49ers 10-3-1 after going 4-8-2 in 1969
