How to make "Instant Noodles" a LOT more interesting! This channel is a wonderful source of really useful cooking ideas!
This is the proper way to make dry ramen. Add the seasoning packet to the ramen with a little bit of water left and let it reduce down; not how you see it in most videos, especially the spicy noodle challenges, where they drain the water first and add the powder.
Ugh I always *hate* those types of videos! It's so obvious those people are used to cheap ramen with very little flavor, so they think they need to use almost no water. But Korean ramyun has very strong flavors so having broth doesn't dilute the flavor.
And for Pete's sake, it's ramen noodle SOUP! These challenge video people act like they're making stir fry noodles
There's no proper way to make these. The instructions at least doesn't say so. You do it however you like.
@@aitakemi The instructions are on the package.
legit yelled, "Don't crack the yolk!" 1:09
Yooooo, I didn't yell but I made the same comment to my tv when they did that! Lmao!
Deftones fan
Nope, my husband like his eggs like that. Drives me crazy 😜
I've made the same comment too lol.
@@sirivannomany3647 I like it both cracked and uncracked. Adds variety
Who cares whether its cracked or not, i swear, 1st world problems. Its food for your mouth...
I love korean and Japanese food. I like your videos. Please upload more 🌹🌹
Imagine having one of these in your neighborhood in the mini mall? It would be life changing
That looks absolutely delicious:)
Yes that way is my fav but i add ground beef or steak to mine not the packet of dried meat and also fresh veggies
This is great recipe, ramen have been around the u.s. only last 15 years or so, i mean the popularity, why so long they were not promoted earlier, i do not know. If you are on a tight budget, especially college students, i have a very inexpensive recipe, i'm 56 now, wish these were available when i was in college. Anyway, recipe is your favorite shrimp flavored ramen with the sauce packet, buy some frozen salad shrimp, they are small but flavorful, you can buy appx. 32 ounce frozen package for appx. $ 6.99 u.s. dollars, you will get many servings with that amount. Boil your ramen and season packet with a handful of the frozen salad shrimp, all at once, due not thaw shrimp prior to boiling or it will over cook and be rubbery. Last minute(this is optional) crack a fresh egg on top , cover with a lid and after stove/burner is turned off let sit appx. 2 minutes, you will have a nice runny egg, but safely cooked egg. It is delicious and my favorite, i came up with this recipe on a late night ramen craving, lol, btw, if you like your egg more cooked, do it in a separate pan and add to the ramen because you don't want to overcook the shrimp or they will be rubbery.
They were around back then. You needed to find a Korean grocery store. They were more of the mom and pop variety back in the 70s, not the big HMarts you see today. The bigger types of Korean grocery stores like HMart opened in the late 80s and early 90s. But HMart started expanding while the others didn't which eventually led to the closure of many of the smaller type stores.
That looks sooooo good
I have to try that shin ramyeon with egg and onion leaves. :)
It is amazing. In the level beyong that I like to add melty cheese. Think Velveeta.
@@spzaruba5089 ooooh cheese. I like that idea.
Koreans usually add a slice of american cheese.
No pasta strainer? These people live on the edge!

YUMMMMM!!
why would anyone pay to eat instant noodles when they can legit boil it at home?
And perhaps way cheaper too ! Here in the Netherlands costs a single serving 50 cent.
it’s more delicious when someone does it for you
@@vanessameow I make myself a 3 euro dinner. In the restaurant I have to pay 15 !
Totally agree! It only takes like 4 minutes to make instant noodle with egg and kimchi and costs next to nothing.
If you go to a Korean bar or restaurant you will know why. Even though i make it the exact same way, it takes so much better when you eat it out. I don't know why and it doesn't even compare. Try having it out at a Korean establishment and compare it to the taste of the one you make at home.
What’s the recipe for the noodles?

does anybody know all the ramen’s names in english?
Engorda el ramen ???
Omg, why break the yolk?!😱
Maruchan :V
There virtually no added value a part from the egg. Can survive doing business like that?
Yes.
Does this ramen have meat in it? Is it halal?
Why would someone pay someone else to make their instant ramen? This makes no sense!!!!!
Try going to a Korean establishment such as a Korean bar and try it there. For some reason, it tastes much better, even though you may cook it the exact same way.
cobain aja lebih enak
Dumb question: why crack an egg into the noodles at 3:27? Does it add more flavor?
it makes the soup thicker

Im kinda disappointed that they use prepackage noodles instead of making their own pulled noodles but hey it looks tasty
There are "proper" Ramen restaurants in South Korea, but this style of food developed after the Korean War. While their population was recovering from the conflict, street vendors prepared dishes using whatever was available - such as instant ramen, hotdogs, and other similar ingredients. The dishes that were created are now regarded as Korean comfort food and remain popular today.
Chinese food?
Can't you read the title bruhh?
If it was Chinese food the egg would be fake and the noodles would be plastic.
It's Korean street cart food. But you are right that the jjapegetti (the black noodles) is derived from Chinese style jjajangmyeon.
You don't understand the history of China and the Koreans. Of course, everything. You really don't understand. Please believe me.
?
That's not how ramen looks in Naruto thou 😅
awww....cause it korean style not Japanese
@@joshuajakha7135 The koreans copied the japanese and the japanese copied the chinese.
