    Nice informational video Jimmy, I use my Dewalt recip to cut exposed roots out of my yard so they won't tear my mower up, works great.
    Thanks Jimmy and keep'm coming. :)

      Thats a brilliant use John and it certainly saves those chains on the chainsaws.
      Thanks for watching,

      It's a good bit of kit. Saved us a load of hassle with the chainsaws over the last weekend.

      Brilliant, I can't believe I've only just thought of using one. It will make life so much easier when nipping off low branches so I can get the mower through.
      Thanks for watching,
      Jimmy 👍

    Instead of a bi=metal blade, try using a nine inch pruning blade, or even a wood blade.
    Kinda pricy at box stores(HD n Lowes), but a five pack at Harbor Freight under $10

    Thoughts on using a lubricant to speed it up or save the blade from wear?

    • @JimmyTheMower

      Now that sounds like an excellent idea.
      I will give it a blast and see how much difference it makes.

    Why is it that when people use a reciprecating saw they still can't help moving the saw like a normal saw back and forward. Even you were doing it. 😂

    • @JimmyTheMower
      @JimmyTheMower  2 роки тому

      Every single time 🤣🤣🤣
      You buy the thing so you don't have to move it backwards and forwards and then you still do anyway 🤣🤣🤣

      It actually helps to create a ridge the cut through the thinner part. Another reason if you have a blade that's constantly cutting on just a few teeth and begin to dull in that area. Moving it around can speed up the process by letting sharper teeth do the job. Added bonus the most used teeth get less use. Have you ever used one before?
