@@TheLazyEyebrow - It just felt like that was how the joke was flowing. Oh, and I bought my Tripod in July. Zero regrets, though there is one less toy on the shelf.
My phone is android and it allows me to choose what the volume buttons control when the camera is being used, so I set it for taking photos, and it works for every app, and includes the mic and volume buttons from the earphones
I swear dude, you're my hero. I've search for many stop motion tutorials, and I kept crossing by lego stuff (not that they were bad) but your tutorials explain much in detail. Subscribe!
good god, I have been on UA-cam for a YEAR and I JUST NOW found out that you could lock your exposure settings! This is going to resolve a TON of lighting issues on my channel now.
I just got a tripod a few weeks back. It's definitely a great item to have. Definitely helps make an image look better than taking one and having a blurry picture.
Yesterday after I finished watching this, I actually started making stop motion and it’s fun and annoying because I don’t have a proper setup, but I’ve been able to do it!
I used to make Transformers and Lego stop motion videos in high school (haven't had time since) and by far my biggest challenge was always keeping the camera and the base I had my figures on still between shots and I can't believe I never thought of using a shutter remote, that would've helped so much!
I love this channel so much because it’s family friendly and it’s so fun and I know he’s the lazy eyebrow but his true name is always going to be The best Eyebrow ever (that sounds weird dont judge tho)
I’m so happy that you are now sharing your infinite wisdom! Now I can improve a lot! Thanks Eyebrow!!!!! Love your vids btw I find em really funny and well made.
You posted this after I finished my crappy attempt at making a stop motion of siege prime playing November rain by guns and roses... Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna use them next time
I didn’t actually think of the lighting lol, I already started making my own stop motion videos but it’s always good to get advice, I really need to work on the lighting for my videos
that's the same app i used to make a student film project a while back. Funny story idk if the app still does this but the longer the video was it would just drop frames when playing back in the editor, you had to actually load the full video to watch in the intended fps. I didn't know this and was about at the halfway point when i noticed it looked quite choppy, and thought this was because i was rushing and working very hastily, so i started to animate with a little more care and smaller intervals as well as adding new scenes with slower motions. Every time i'd play it back of course, it'd still look choppy so i kept trying to be smoother and smoother until one time i played it back and KNEW i filmed smoother than what i was watching. Then i figured out how to properly play it back and watched the animation steeply improve as the film went on
I'd really like to try doing some stop-motion, but had no idea how involved it was until watching this. This is going to be some great learning shortcuts (now I know, and knowing is half the battle, yo joe!). This might sound really obvious, but how do you stabilise the TOY for transformation shots? Especially mid-transformation; some of yours (e.g. IDW Drift) seemed to be mid-air.
My reality flickers and twitches so my work is normal for me. But yes! “I’ve could’ve waited an eternity for this!” Been wanting to see how you do your things!
I have planned to do stop motion before. This helps a lot. I may even set up a second channel to do it on. But before I do that: I need a tripod Thanks for the tips!

That cannon can connect to your phone or tablet and you can use your phone to snap the pics as well as have the pics store directly into it the phone and if you have your phone or tablet setup with cloud those can online storage placed into your laptop, considering pictures and size you should not go over your allotted storage with some being 50 to 120 gigs. There are 3 main ways with a 4th being in a higher tier camera First thru a router/wifi connection 2 the camera becomes the router/wifi and you directly connect that way if the device is close then faster remote method 3. Nice tutorial, this particular episode can also serve as one for general toy photography! Unfortunately, that means I personally didn't get a lot out of it, and while I'd ask for more on hardware and software there aren't too many old timers like us who'd use a non-smartphone camera. ...Plus I'm probably lacking in a proper space for shooting.

Thanks lazy eyebrow, this helps a LOT since I was planning on making an animated series. Also I have a question. How does it feel to animate megatron turning into a handheld wepon?
How did you glued those LED Strip Lights and ON what? Did you cut them into little pieces and put on a Round steel beam or did you wrap it along the beam.
How long does it take you to do these things? My twenty something second stop motion took me an hour + but that’s probably because I’m a newbie. I saw in your video that you had the stop motion app on your phone, but I have the free version so e.
