I do wanna say that is a very nice clean cut. For a wooden machine. I am thinking about cutting wooden mock ups for my machine too. I like the config of wider (Y) thinner (X). I plan for such a machine. Also the rails. Get some good linear rails. Those bearing surfaces will introduce a degree of freedom. Triangles too. A triangle needs only 3 corners and is strong AF,.... but a square needs a knee brace to retain its square ( a diagonal load path). gusset the eff out of that thing and it will cut beautiful.
